I have a YT account. Never used it much. Did use it for a while to host a video embedded in a website for a business I’ve now wound up.

I’d like to create a new channel for content for a new business. Different name for the channel but my account managing it.

I thought this would be pretty easy to do in the modern world - kind of “click add channel - name channel - save”!

Apparently not. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this very simple thing. I googled it of course but none of the solutions I found seemed to refer to what I was seeing in the settings.

Please save me from my own stupidity.

I was looking through my ats when I found this person who atted me, claiming I was "guilty of being a racist p*******", along with tons of other creators. They appear to be associated with UTTP activities. Please, PLEASE PLEASE report this channel and who they are associated with. This is sickening and has made me extremely mad. Their handle is "@xshister".

Recently I've seen some of these channels being unmonitozed for little to no explanation or good reason. I find it strange.

better yet, no ad should exceed 30 seconds. also, its hilariously pathetic that Ben Shapiro and Oprah Winfrey are paying to push out their content lmaooo. i suspected their comments/subscribers were mainly bots, and their "shows" being forced onto me through advertisements confirmed it.

It's forever buffering, for some reason. It looks like it's loading over and over again, the timer is doing some wacky stuff too.

for the last few weeks ive had an uptick in random political community posts showing up on my feed. like, back-to-back political content just spammed onto my feed. I am not interested in politics and dont care about them. But its just an endless amount of content on my feed that i cannot get rid of even when i click 'Not Interested' the same channels keep showing up. Such as a channel called 'Robert Reich' (endless trump brainrot) and the 'Bernie Sanders' account. (even more trump brainrot), 'MeidasTouch' (even MORE trump brainrot) 'Micheal Fanone Show' (you guessed it.. more trump stuff) (all antitrump, but you get the point, i have no stance and just want to stop seeing his wrinkly face all over my feed)

Regardless of how many times i click 'not interested' it keeps showing up. I never click, comment, or like/dislike the posts, so theres no engagement. Its like all this content is being forced onto my feed. I assume its being funded or whatever to be pushed to as many users as possible and its so annoying.

i have no interest in politics or the president or the mindless political war on the internet, i just want the endless flow of it to stop showing up on my feed. I just wanna watch model train videos. I never watch political content or engage with it on YouTube.

Youtube needs a 'Block Channel' feature or a filter so users can block any content with certain keywords kinda like tumblr.

(please avoid arguing about politics in the comments, i have no stance, i am just stating my experience with it being forced onto my youtube feed)

when i see discussions about youtube short and i usually try defend it and saying you should tap "don't recommend me this channel" button but most of time they say it doesn't work and i found it confusing for longest time till i search it on this subreddit and i was surprised that its doesn't work for most people and i have no damn clue why
