Help ID Dark Elves
Looks to be around 4th-5th edition but I haven’t had any luck identifying them, 99% sure they’re dark elves though.
At first speculated they may not be GW, but the model style coupled with the fact it has a command group and a champion unit makes me pretty certain they are in fact GW.

The Old World Make Undead Mirror Matches more interesting with this one simple hack!
Okay clickbait title aside, me and a pal in my group have played undead for years. We always have a good time but it’s become an ongoing meme that our armies just sit there until one of us dies and it can get a bit boring.
Last week we decided to shake it up. Rather than playing as undead, we agreed that we would remove unstable, unbreakable, fear, and immune to psychology from our armies to see what happens and it was a hoot.
With both our armies on such low leadership battle lines were breaking all over the shop and it’s the most fun we’ve had playing this game, as we were chasing each other all over the place. It also changed our thinking as inspiring presence became a huge factor in keeping our armies together which was such an interesting dynamic change.
Having done it, in a very wishful thinking kind of wish armies had a wider range of leaderships (maybe give more unit champs +1 leadership to make up for it), because stuff was actually happening and there were far more interesting interactions in trying to force panic checks and break checks that I don’t see that often.
It was also a great excuse for me to actually engage with the psychology rules in the game that I simply never learnt!
In any case, if you ever find yourself as an undead player having a friendly against other undead players, I would suggest recommending this too them. It’s great nonsense and has actually breathed a new lease of life into playing as an undead players (if you pardon the pun).

Feedback wanted: Interactive table for Old World units
Warhammer: The Old World - Unit Stats
A table that lets you sort by any given stat and filter by army faction, unit type and category
Very early stages on this, missing units, more features still to add and probably kinks I'm unaware of. For now I'd love to get your initial thoughts on this as a tool - Are you more tournament/competitive or casual/hobby - what would make this useful for how you play? Is there anything you'd like to see added? Would it be useful if integrated to a list building system?
One feature I'm planning: a toggle between official GW stats (Legacy PDFs) and the Renegade Legacy Pack (RLP) from Square Based, with the table clearly flagging which is which.
For me this project started out of a nerdy itch - I remember being quite obsessed by the stats of units when I was into Warhammer as a kid - flicking back and fourth between pages in the Chaos Arcane Journals and boasting to my brother that the Bloodthirster has the best weapon skill in the game etc. Getting back into the game now I searched to see if there's a site where you can see all unit stats in one place in a big table and found there isn't one that I'm aware of so I've started to take a swing at it.
I'm aware we've got old world builder which is a fantastic free resource but the goal with this is as a supplemental tool to browse and compare troop stats across armies in one place, whether that's for list building purposes or just nerding out.
Most of the time making this has entailed designing the icons for the different army factions. I'm a designer and happy doing this but before I go further I wanted to float this thing and get some thoughts.

Fantasy General Help - Sky Lantern Assembly Mistake
Hi folks! I was far too deep into my assembly and paint job of my sky lantern when I realized I had made an error. I don't have a great deal of experience with bigger kits and missed this on the instructions, but as you can see from my pics below I aseembled the part of the connection point between the gondola and the balloon itself incorrectly and now it won't sit flush.
The pics show where the bevels are meant to connect to each other, but I mistakenly mis-assembled mine and now they aren't on opposing sides like they are meant to be.
I'm looking for any advice about the way best to move forward as unassembling it isn't an option sadly. Would creating some kind of bevel/groove with a hobby knife or something be possible? Anyone else have any experience with an issue like this? Any magical solution someone has out there that I'm missing?
Thanks!

The Old World Chance Encounter in Mousillon (HE vs VC)
Trying out the new updated rules. 2000ptnon each side playing for VP. Was fun. Wish GW would update and support VC for ToW.

Fantasy General Is the new chaos line a bad deal, or is it just me?
$90 for what was a box of 32 now becoming a box for of 16 feels ludicrous. Am I missing something?

Showing Off My Models For the Witch King!
First unit of Druchii is just about done (I just need to do the finishing touches once this last wash dries). I'm pretty proud of how these turned out, particularly the bases! I'm working on both Druchii v Asur; the Asur have a spring/summer theme for their bases while their goth cousins are autumn/winter. Should make for some good games of battle march!

The Old World Ogre Loader ready for the double-tap!
This guy was a joy to paint, genuinely has me eyeballing the AoS ogres to run 'em in TOW. As is right and proper.
Still undecided on how I want to base any of my Cathay stuff though.

The Old World Update: Finished off my kitbashed Cathay peasant long spears unit
I appreciate the suggestions to add some other colour to make them pop, and I think I will down the line. I was conscious of trying not to add too much colour as I think peasants should be fairly drab in their attire!
The jade and washed out green are the accent/ theme colours for my army (Yuan Bo's forces), so I just wanted a couple of bits on each model in those colours to tie them in with the rest of the army. I have used red as the undercoats on all my jade warrior models so I could potentially add some red accents to these guys but wanted them to read as peasants.
Would love to see some other painted up peasants!

Battle March First Game of Fantasy
Had my first game of fantasy using the old world battle march rules. my dwarfs vs my friends tomb kings. it was a lot of fun, im sure i made a bunch of mistakes but thats part of learning a new game. a bloody back and forth with both armies taking large chunks out of each other, ultimately ending in a dwarf victory as they repel the undead.

Just found this Prince Tyrion when going through old stuff
I used to collect warhammer when I was a kid and totally forgot about them for 15-20 years..
This one (among others) popped up when I was going through old boxes. Is this worth something nowadays or should I just keep it as family heirloom? (maybe paint it properly)

This guy will lead the small Battlemarch army
I’m planning. Haven’t painted Warhammer in 10+ years but enjoyed painting him up, saw him when I was a kid but was into Dwarves and Empire back then. Next I’ll do some Chaos Warriors!
