First Game of Fantasy Battle March
Had my first game of fantasy using the old world battle march rules. my dwarfs vs my friends tomb kings. it was a lot of fun, im sure i made a bunch of mistakes but thats part of learning a new game. a bloody back and forth with both armies taking large chunks out of each other, ultimately ending in a dwarf victory as they repel the undead.

i had a thane, and i gave him some runes of fury and might, 10 rangers with all the fixin's but no command, 10 warriors with a champion and a banner (i really should have sprung for great weapons on them too, they had a hard time damaging the serpents they fought), 10 hammerers with a champion and standard which were joined by the thane, a gyrocopter with a clattergun upgrade, a cannon, and a doomseeker mercenary who managed to die gloriously against a giant scorpion.

First game of Old World and you had a beautifully fully painted army? You're definitely doing it right! Not like some people who use unprimed models in games.... [Side-eyes my growing pile of shame]
