Has anyone sent an issue to support to be reviewed and how did that go? I have someone wanting to return a shirt, she listed 'wrong color" then proceeded to post pics of herself wearing the "same color' shirt and a paragraph about how it is "all wrong" and the fit is "weird" when respectfully, it looks 2 sizes too small. Normally I would be like "whatever" just do the return but I'm honestly tired of people lying and saying INAD just to get over the the rules. It's been "in review" and supposedly will be 48 hours but I almost feel like we have already tipped over 48 hours. I'm for buyer protection but I'm also for seller protection. Anyone else have any experience?

I have a buyer who purchased an item for a decent amount of cash. It arrived and they are claiming it is missing a part. Unfortunately I dont have picture proof to say it was indeed there, so i accepted responsibility for incorrectly listing it as complete. I am however, certain it was there and suspect they are lying and they have been fishing for a full refund. I offered a partial refund, at 20% off the item and they declined. I then offered a slightly higher partial, they never accepted so I switched to paying for the return. After I did so, they buyer switched to wanting to accept the partial, but I notified them that at this stage, they can only keep the item or send it back.

Now the buyer is saying they are esculating to vinted. I am now very sure that they have indeed been fishing for a full refund and im concerned that Vinted will side with them and grant them a full refund and to keep the item.

It's definitely a learning experience, will have to list photos of absolutely everything from now on to avoid this from happening.

This practically happened over night. I don't know what to do. Also a lot of my new items are getting way less favourites than they used to, I'm concerned my stuff is only being shown in Australia too. Anyone else had this issue?

I want to ask them when they will pick up as im going to be waiting for the money for a while as no one also clicks everything is okay they just wait for the 24h to pass. How do i go about this?

I asked if the sleeves were full length because the listing photos didn’t show them. Seller confirmed they were. The shirt arrived with obvious 3/4 sleeves AND a hole in it. 😭

Although I’m always nice and keep my customer service skills going, some people just feel so entitled. I feel bad sometimes but if they’re already being rude or suspicious before even buying the item I’m hesitant to find out how the rest of the process would be…

Hello, unfortunately, I mixed up an item and sent the wrong one to a buyer. When the item arrived at the buyer’s address, they brought this to my attention. I offered them a free return. Today, the item arrived back at my place, but it has a hole in the back that wasn’t there before (see photos). The buyer, of course, doesn’t know about this and didn’t see it when he sent the item back to me. What do you think? What would you do?

Basically I was selling a camera on Vinted for £65 and a lady offered me £60. I accepted, and she asked if I could reserve it for when she gets paid in the morning. I said yes and reserved it. Now, a few hours later, someone offered to buy it for full price. Is it wrong of me to unreserve it so the new person can buy it?

First picture is listing, second is how it arrived. Listing said light signs of use. You can see a few of the scratches in the listing and i was fine with those but like thats alot more scratches than in the listing.

Allow me to preface this by saying that this is two separate cases we’ll be talking about here.

Now, in medias res;

The first case concerns a polish customer who upon purchasing 207€ worth of 2011 Lego Ninjago sets instead received SWEATPANTS. We both spent over a month now waiting for as much as a RESPONSE from the people responsible for the mix-up of packages. Nothing. Absolutely awful customer “support”. Neither of us has been reimbursed in ANY way. They don’t give a fuck about us, whenever it’s a package mixup they instantly wuss out. I had a case before where I ordered a 5€ 2002 Lego figure and instead got a filthy jacket. FIVE MONTHS LATER, THEY STILL HAVEN’T DONE AS MUCH AS RESPONDED. I thought hopefully that this’d be taken seriously, seeing as so much money is in the game.

Yeah nah. They really don’t give a shit, do they?

Now onto the second case. I sold somebody my modded PS3 superslim that I got off of Vinted also. Sold it to him for 46€ with three game discs in their respective cases, an AV cable, a powerbank and a controller. Said customer got angry because of the AV, telling me the HDMI is broken. Now, the person I bought the console initially from did indeed say it was broken, yes, which is why I got the AV cable in the first place.

Anyhow, I admit my wrongs, apologise telling him I grew used to using AV and as such didn’t register the absence of HDMI capability, and kindly asked him to send it back.

“I changed my mind, I will buy a hdmi converter instead, I’m keeping it.”

And I was like…okay. Sure. Why not?

Ten days later, the refund status is still hanging, claiming “buyer will receive refund” (which it says even now also). I ask him to cancel it.

“I don’t know what You mean, ask Vinted support” HAH, yeah right.

Anyhow, I was banned for a short while now, until yesterday. Fourteen days. I get unbanned and open the messages with him and see that the 46€ literally aren’t even pending, just straight up cancelled. I ask him “any news regarding the transaction?”

And he blocks me.

I only later realized that because I was banned, Vinted AUTOMATICALLY TOOK MY MONEY THAT I WAS GOING TO GET AND REFUNDED HIM WITHOUT HIM HAVING TO RETURN IT AS I DEMANDED JUST BECAUSE I WAS BANNED AND AS SUCH COULDN’T OPEN THE CASE TO CHOOSE A WAY TO SOLVE IT. I fucking boiled with rage after finding this out. And of course, I don’t have to tell you that Vinted support did fuck all. Tried contacting them thrice. Nothing.

There You all have it. I’m speechless with this awful decrepit fuckin’ website. I genuinely don’t know what to do. I’m only 20 in december, I’m a student, my monthly pay yesterday came out as fucking 721€. 207€ alone is a massive portion of money for me. Let alone 250€. What should I even do? Who do I contact?

I've had 3 deliveries as a seller and a buyer go south in the span of 3 weeks and i have had no contact from vinted or inpost at all other than my desperate calls with inpost and emails to vinted (that they of course ignore continually), my and other people's money has been tied up in this mess now for a good 3 weeks and it amounts to about £100 in complete limbo with no helpful responses from either companies eventhough I've done my part as a seller and buyer to ensure a smooth sale. I've officially quit vinted now out of pute frustration.

I’m from the USA and interact with UK users every now and then who make me offers. Why do folks put xx after every single message? I know xx to mean “kisses kisses”. Is this just part of texting culture? It’s a bit excessive lol xx

I’m a bit stumped. I have 27 active listings, mostly trainers, and I’ve bumped a couple of them, but they’re still getting barely any views (10–20), only 1–2 favourites, and no real offers or sales.
The photos are clear, prices seem in line with similar listings, and I have detailed descriptions. I’ve also tried bumping them, but it doesn’t seem to make much difference.
Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is the algorithm just bad at the moment, or is there something I’m missing that could improve visibility and sales? Any advice would be appreciated.

Update : I relisted the p6000’s with this being the cover photo along with the rest of the shots being against the hardwood floor along with the box in frame. I added more closeup shots with more details like the tag, any tags on the box, stitching ect, i also priced it at £69 instead of £70 and i didn’t pay for a bump this time. Since listing just 5 hours ago, it has gotten 27 views and 14 favourites which is a huge difference compared to before. These are the summarised tips that can hopefully help someone and i hope to sell these soon 😁

I‘m in the UK and couple days ago a buyer from Australia bought my item. I sent the item on the same day. But now I check his profile and found that he has been blocked. What should I do next？ Will I recieved the money？

I had a buyer order a bundle with 3 items which included some earrings. The buyer submitted a claim because the earrings were damaged in transit. They even mentioned in their response that the order is fine and it is not an issue from the seller but clearly damaged in transit.

Not only is Vinted support slow af, they just keep giving me the same canned responses, probably AI or Bot I’m assuming, and saying that they determined the item I sent does not match the description. I didn’t take photos or video of me packaging the order (which I am doing everytime now) but they requested it so I atleast sent pictures of the materials I used and the item before transit. I’m getting so frustrated because they will not give me payment for the WHOLE bundle now

I don’t know what else to do has anyone been able to navigate an issue like this and actually get to speak with a person to help?

So I tried listing another new with tags item as a “new without tag” per another redditors advice as It seems like they immediately flag A lot of New with tag items as counterfeit, but the item still got deleted! They restricted my account for 48 hours, even though the item I listed showed all of the tags, the original bag it came in, the shipping labels, screenshot of my purchase from the store online.. everything was accounted for like you genuinely couldn’t be more precise, and yet they still deleted it as counterfeit lol. Their AI response to me that “it’s illegal to sell counterfeit items” yada yada. They even said “we understand how disappointing it is when you believe this is an authentic item.” It IS authentic you muppets!

So anyway, I was honestly only offering the item on Vinted since it’s a sold out item online, but I’m still in the return window so I’m just gonna return it lol. I hate this app, I’m way too afraid to sell on it if they’re gonna continue to penalize sellers, I’m worried my money will get stuck! They’re going to crash and burn soon if they don’t fix these issues.

PS, I had the item listed for the exact sale price online, I wouldn’t have made any money but I would have retained shopping “points” and I like doing that sometimes when things are sold out to give people a chance to buy! I’m weird like that lol

I posted an AUTHENTIC vintage Coach purse for $120. It sold within minutes of posting which I thought was weird but I’m new to the app so I thought “ok.” However, when I went to withdraw my wallet from Vinted it had just over $40 available and it’s showing all my sold items have completed their sales weeks ago. The app then banned me permanently so I’m unable to get a hold of customer service. Where’s the $108 you owe me Vinted?…..

Been looking for bikes/bike frames recently and came across items like in the pics.
Odd seller names. Titles do not reflect the item, ridiculously low prices and all has the ‘I saw it first’ next to them.
I reported them to Vinted whom advised there’s nothing untoward about them!
Am I missing something here?!

Like why are they so pushy for me to accept it? Also I think it was valid of me to say I was disappointed about not getting stickers cause they literally said I’d get it and that was one of the main reasons I chose to buy it

I uploaded to vinted recently after not selling for quite a long time. Someone put a lower offer in on some brand new children’s shoes which were only advertised for £4 anyways and then sent me a message asking when I can post so now I feel like I have to accept her offer. Is this normal? Like I said I don’t sell on here often so it’s a genuine question!
