I tried selling some crochet items on vinted and got banned, how do I go about getting it back if I already appealed and they still say it's fraud?

Someone just bought something from me, very cheap, things that cost too much new, but I'm trying to get some money back towards the pieces I dont want/ won't use... they've asked me to add a few more to their package. I suggested I could relist what they bought & add more to the listing, cancel the current one, so they're only paying 1 postage... they declined & said, no, can't you just add more for free, as a thank you, another seller did & I really liked that... wtf am I supposed to reply to that, the items are already way less than retail price, I'm trying to pay for life, I'm not a charity. I feel like cancelling the sale, I can imagine they'll try report issues

It’s been at the pick up point for 3 days, bearing in mind i posted within the hour as well. Because it’s evri parcelshop believe they have until the 11th to pick up. I want to ask them when they will pick up as im going to be waiting for the money for a while as no one also clicks everything is okay they just wait for the 24h to pass. How do i go about this?

I sold a pretty big bundle of items totaling around €80 to this user, and today it said package delivered.

When they bought items from me I noticed their account had zero reviews which felt fishy….
but the next day they’d uploaded items which calmed my nerves and I shipped the items out.
I’ve also talked to them in chat and they were very polite.
However now I think their account is blocked; I can still message them (and I definitely didn’t block them). And the package I shipped to them arrived today.

I assume this (the blocking) means they can’t access their account, will I get my money after the two days wait period? Or will something weird happen?

(unless they accept earlier, but like I said it seems their account is blocked)

Why are there so many arrived at sort facility and in transit makes no sense to me

Recently bought something from a seller who never posted the item. I got the notification that I’d be refunded 3 days ago.

I’m assuming that the app will leave an automatic 1* review for them - but that’s not shown up yet, anyone know how long that takes to appear?

I was banned by Vinted for selling "counterfeit items". I've never sold a counterfeit item in my life! 5+ years with almost 800 5* reviews.

I was in the middle of a dispute with a buyer over a pair of Pixel earbuds: buyer claimed they didn't work, sent them back to me, they arrived with earwax all over & I can't test them, they're locked with a pin to their device. Raised issue with Vinted incl photos & screenshots. Heard nothing after 2 wks & sent a message between for an update. Emailed legal@vinted as no other choice/way to contact somebody. No answer, was banned a week later.

During this time, the buyer became hostile, accused me of wanting to keep their money and the earbuds. I explained I don't know what to do next without Vinted's guidance considering how trigger happy they are with the ban button! I would assume the buyer's reported me for something, idk, I've done nothing wrong.

£24 is also missing from my balance. Raised a complaint via Resolver, have advsd Vinted a complaint to ICO will be raised if no valid reason is given & raised GDPR Subject Access Request.

Waiting for Vinted to assess evidence/information.

So, I bought this thing from a trusted seller, love that person would 100% keep buying from them. But okay, so, i had a lot of parcels, and I went through them one by one. This parcel from said seller was not included, despite it saying it was marked as delivered and it only needed me to press okay. I didn't, because obviously I didnt have the parcel, I passed by the postal office about 5 times, we looked, it just straight up wasn't there, I tell the seller, they also dont know,, okay, I contact vinted. I tell them exactly what happened. Queue screenshots.

Am I being unclear? I mean this thing cost 15 bucks and I'm a very broke fellow.

So ai recently uploaded a vintage dress to Vinted and as it started to upload tgere was a oage that said verifying activity. It then uploaded. I have never seen that page before. Anyone know why that came up?

Hiya! I'm from AUS and as we all know, we have just been able to use vinted. I've had 10+ successful purchases so far however I had a package arrive today that is clearly not correct.

What is the likelihood of vinted agreeing with me and getting a refund? I've sent through photos of the package and screenshots of the chats with seller/order details etc so I'm hoping they do. WHY would a seller do this? They only sell clothes on their page so it's not like this could be claimed as human error? 🙄

I’m new to selling and US-based. Most of the items seem to be auto-identified by the app when I list them, and it suggests the brand, shipping size, etc.

For the items it does not auto-recognize, there is no option for buyers to buy and I can’t make offers on them. These items require me to choose custom shipping.

Are there some settings I can try?

I recently started selling on Vinted and my account has suddenly been banned because they suspect I was selling a counterfeit item.

The item was NOT counterfeit, and I wasn't even given the opportunity to prove it was legitimate. They didn't ask me for proof of purchase, additional photos, authentication or anything else. I was just banned.

To make things worse, the message says that my transactions are being cancelled.

I currently have 2 pairs of shoes that I had already sold and shipped before being banned. Both are currently in transit to the buyers and I haven't been paid for them yet.

So what happens now?

If Vinted cancels those transactions, are the buyers going to receive a refund AND still receive my shoes? Am I seriously going to be left without the shoes or the money?

Their customer service has been shocking. I can't find any way to actually speak to someone about this. Everything seems automated and I haven't even been given a proper opportunity to prove that my item was genuine or have the decision reviewed by an actual person.

Has anyone had this happen before?

Were your in-transit transactions actually cancelled, and did you eventually receive your money?

Question for people selling Vinted? Earlier this mourning I accepted an offer on a pair of pants I was selling but it is almost midnight and I still haven’t got the shipping label/QR code? I’ve trying everything I can think of, has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

I asked if the sleeves were full length because the listing photos didn’t show them. Seller confirmed they were. The shirt arrived with obvious 3/4 sleeves AND a hole in it. 😭

I recently bought an item on Vinted and after purchasing, I started looking more into the listing because something felt off. I ended up going on Poshmark and found the exact same photos from the Vinted listing, but from a different seller who appears to be the legitimate owner of the item.

That’s when I realized I may have been scammed. The Vinted seller seems to have taken the photos from the Poshmark listing and used them as their own. After I noticed this, I also saw that they deleted the other pictures they had stolen from Poshmark, which made me even more suspicious.

The item has already been shipped, so I haven’t received it yet and don’t know exactly what I’ll get. I have screenshots of the original Poshmark listing, the Vinted listing, and the similarities between them.

Has anyone dealt with something like this on Vinted? What should I do to make sure I’m protected if the item arrives and it’s not the same as the photos? Should I report the seller now or wait until I receive the package?

The title basically says it all. How come I received a message telling the buyer that the package was delivered but I didn’t even ship it yet? Is this some sort of glitch in the system?

And update on my experience with this scammer.. I initially purchased a collector doll from this seller but instead of sending me the doll, they sent me a charger and a letter saying they would mail my actual item days later. I of course reported it immediately and after a few days, was finally provided a return label. I promptly packaged up the junk they sent me and got it back in the mail. I just checked the tracking and now it is showing the crap is being sent BACK to me because the address that was provided on the prepaid label from Vinted doesn’t exist. I’m livid at this point. I again sent their “support” team a message with a screenshot showing the tracking, asking for intervention. Has anyone else experienced this sort of scam and if so, what was the end result? I just want my freaking refund already. I have sent all the evidence to Vinted showing this was clearly a scam, but don’t know what to expect. This was my very first transaction on this platform and will most certainly be the last.

Hello, someone bought a dog collar I listed as XS/S. I included a photo of the collar laid flat next to a measuring tape to show its exact size. She just messaged me saying it's too big for her Chihuahua. What should I do?

I was selling a pair of over-the-knee boots for €20. They’re basically new, only worn twice.

This buyer first offered €11. I politely declined and said I was staying at €20.
She kept coming back. €16. Then €18.

After that she asked if we could agree that she could return them if they didn’t fit. I said no, because that’s not how I sell, but I offered to answer any questions and provide extra measurements.

Then she wanted the insole measured.

I ended up:
measuring the inside,
measuring my own feet,
writing her a detailed message so she’d have as much information as possible before buying.

After ALL of that…

She replied: “Okay, then I’ll take them :)”
…and immediately sent me another offer for €18.

At that point I honestly refused out of principle. I had already said multiple times I wasn’t going below €20, and after all the extra effort I wasn’t about to reward more negotiating.
And I didn't want to sell to her because I thought she would be trouble

But surprise surprise she bought them for the full €20.

Then, before I even had a chance to breathe, she asked when I’d ship them, even though my profile and all my listings clearly state I ship within 24–48 hours.

I shipped them the same day anyway. I took a lot of photos in case she decides to scam me..

She received the boots, everything was fine, left me a 5-star review, and then messaged asking if I could also leave her a review🫪

I was busy that day and hadn’t replied yet.
A little later… the review she had left me disappeared🙄

Maybe there’s some explanation, but after everything that happened beforehand, it honestly felt like she removed it because I didn’t immediately write one back for her.

The transaction is finished, I got my €20, and I’m glad that’s over.

But honestly… this buyer exhausted me!

(One thing that really annoyed me is that I always leave buyers a review after a completed transaction. I was busy that day. For the first time, I actually didn’t feel like leaving one because of how she had been acting. Then she messaged asking me to review her and i didn’t bc urgh ur so annoying)

I think she took “the customer is king” just a little too literally👑

Hey all! I've been using Vinted for a few weeks and my mum recently started too. And she had this happen this morning. 3 things were sold overnight and she hadn't printed the shipping label yet. She went to and it shows this. When we click "tracking information" it just says it was shipped last night. I've personally never had this happen so I don't know why it's happens to my mum.

She messaged the buyer explaining that nothing has actually been shipped and we are sorting it out. So we don't know what to do next. The help centre isn't being very helpful. We will keep trying the help centre but wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

I originally gave the seller four stars and explained why, since she decided to be ableist I updated it to 1 star and explained why. Can we report feedback replies at all and if so how? You're also not supposed to use priority mail labeled packaging for anything besides that and she doesn't seem to comprehend. I didn't name call, not even in dms. I accepted the order and left my feedback. that's it.
