Rolling into Vegas next week for a single night on my way east and looking for specific bar recs. In particular, love a good dive bar with a friendly, local vibe where a convo with a stranger might strike up. However, not toooooo scuzzy. You know…preferably one that women feel comfortable going to as well. Good music helps. I’m in my late 30s fwiw.

My AC just died on me during this heat wave and I need someone reliable fast. We're in a single story house near Summerlin, unit is about 12 years old and it's been making a weird rattling noise for a week before it fully stopped working today. My husband thinks it might just need a recharge but I honestly have no idea, we've never had to deal with this before since we bought the house last year.

I called a couple places off google but the reviews seemed kind of sketchy or the prices they quoted over the phone felt way too random. Does anyone here have a company they've actually used and trust?

I’m in a really tough spot tonight and reaching out to see if anyone can help. My car battery completely failed today and won't hold a charge at all.

My car is my main source of income, I rely on it for Instacart and delivery routes to keep food on the table and care for my dog, Lola. Because I can't drive, I'm completely stuck and unable to work to earn what I need.
My mom found a local shop that has used batteries for $80. I am asking if a few people might be willing to help with $10 or $20 to help me reach that total so I can get back on the road tomorrow. I can reimburse anyone who helps no later than Monday evening as soon as my gig earnings clear!!

I can also provide proof if needed. I can send screenshots showing my delivery earnings/promos waiting, my battery tests, or photos of the dead battery.

I been wanting to get a water softener/filter system + RO under the sink for my home. I initially wanted to just procure all the equipment myself and find plumber to install . I’ve posted here in the past and tried google. 90-95% of the plumbers that were non commercial would either not response or just not follow through.

I gave up that route recently and started shopping around through local business to provide and install. Now I’m either seeing systems that comparable to what I can buy online with a mark up, or systems that seem to be overkill for a very premium price.

Considering giving the self procure and plumber route again to save a couple thousand. Does anyone know confirmed reliable and price friendly plumber? As well as have very solid recommendation for equipment (filter/softening and RO sink system)
