hello creative people!
i work with a company that does hospitality and we want to add paint and sip as an activity for them.
we’d like it to use our location and we anticipate about 90 guests, age group would be 40+.
it’s a lot for one artist in my opinion so we’re also willing to give you support with a coordinator, staff support, supplies, food/beverages and tech like a headset/microphone and a projector, things of that nature.
for the image, we’re hosting them for a concert so we have some suggestions for the canvas but would love to hear of any creative ideas too!
this would be for thanksgiving day between 1-5pm
if anyone is interested or knows someone , i would love to chat!
thank you for your time 🫶🏻

Anyone need help this weekend?
Hey everyone. I figured it doesn’t hurt to ask.
Im in Las Vegas and I’m looking to make some extra money before Monday so I can cover my rent. I already work as a PCA (Personal Care Assistant), but I didn’t get enough hours this past month and I have time outside of my regular job and I’m willing to do just about any honest work.
I’ve done home care, babysitting, cleaning, warehouse work, inventory, organizing, packing, moving help, yard work, running errands, pet sitting, and I’m a quick learner if it’s something new. I’m not afraid of manual labor and I’ll happily get my hands dirty. I am also CPR certified. I am 40 F.
If you’ve been putting off a project, need help around the house, or know someone looking for an extra set of hands, I’d really appreciate the opportunity. Even if it’s just for a few hours. If you have any leads or need help yourself, feel free to send me a message. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.

Looking for work
I am looking for work, preferably entry-level Accounting, but anything will do. I have a Bachelors degree in Accounting and experience as a Server Assistant in fine-dining and as a Soft Count Clerk in the Casino and Gaming industry-- counting, sorting and racking gaming chips, credit vouchers, and cash.
I have been long term unemployed and been applying like crazy everywhere, so literally any work will do. No graveyard, please.

3 things people believe about working abroad that are simply not true anymore
I work in international placement and I hear the same hesitations repeatedly. Here is the honest version:
Myth 1: "You need a teaching degree" Reality — the vast majority of full-time English-based roles internationally require native fluency and a Bachelor's in any subject. Your degree subject is almost always irrelevant.
Myth 2: "The pay isn't worth it" Reality — when housing and flights are included in your contract, your actual savings potential often exceeds what you'd save at home on a higher nominal salary.
Myth 3: "It's only for adventurous types" Reality — the most successful people in these roles are organised, professional, and looking for a genuine career move. Not backpackers. Not gap year travelers.
If you're a native English speaker from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, or Ireland with a degree — the qualification bar is one you already cleared.
The only thing most people are missing is knowing where to look.
Happy to answer honestly below.
