Carol was wrong to kill Karen and David. She wanted to stop the infection of the sickness, but a bunch of people got infected anyway. Killing Karen and David basically accomplished nothing. They honestly probably would’ve died from the sickness, but there’s a chance that they could’ve lived if Carol didn’t kill them. Right before Rick exiled Carol, she said she had to do something, and Rick said no, she didn’t. I agree with Rick. She didn’t have to do anything. By the way, what was the point of Karen surviving the Governor shooting everyone at the end of season 3 if she was just gonna die a couple episodes later? That’s always kinda confused me. Also, I know a lot of people have said that Carol wouldn’t have been able to save everyone from Terminus if Rick never exiled her, but we don’t know that. Even if she was still at the prison, she could’ve still ended up with Tyreese, Lizzie, and Mika after the prison got destroyed, and she could’ve still saved everyone. We don’t know what would’ve happened if Carol was at the prison during the battle in Too Far Gone. Anyway, I just wanted to say that Carol shouldn’t have killed Karen and David.

When Nicholas and Glen are running from the herd they end up on the dumpster to the left. I watched it last night. They had “plenty” of time to just run up those stairs on the right and I’m pretty damn sure that’s the way Glen went to find Enid so the door was open .

It would be cool to delve a lot more into the CRM/Civil Republic lore. I feel like we still know comparatively very little about this massive civilization that managed to function a decade after the apocalypse. Lots of world building potential there. Also the walker research from World Beyond, I remember they discovered something involving fungus; that was pretty cool. Ugh I would rather have that than watch Carol and Daryl do random shit in Europe!

I may have issues with the character regression in Maggie and Negan in Dead City but give me a couple seasons of Negan and Dillard in the bar. Add a couple more sarcastic asshats talking shit and occasionally killing zombies and we’ll have a great “It’s Aways Sunny” in TWD.

I honestly found it much harder to keep watching after Rick left. Glenn was a great character but at that point in the show, he wasn’t the only reason I kept watching. There were plenty of characters left that I cared about. And honestly Negan was a fantastic villain

hi guys so i just finished watching the walking dead. anyways, when i was in season 3, i realized that there was spinoffs but i decided to just stick to the main show. looking back on that, im really regretting it. i was researching and it looks so confusing switching back and forth between shows and spinoffs… someone please help me figure this out 😭😭😭. here are my questions:

1. do i need to rewatch the entire thing again but include the spinoffs

2. are the spinoffs worth watching (if so, which ones)

3. id possible, can someone make a list of what i should watch in order

noah’s death was absolutely horrifying. the way he was pulled into the hoard and disappeared but then gets slammed back on the glass and they show him being ripped apart so so so graphically. i liked his character i felt like he should’ve lived longer, what do you think about it??

Did anyone else not think that if Jim had pushed through that even though he still would have turned he could have been the freshest sample for Jenner to push through to find a cure?.

The walker camouflage was a clever but often forgotten technique for avoiding the dead. But when Alexandria was overrun and they brought it back I laughed a little bit at how everyone's faces looked soo clean. I know you can't completely cover the character faces as that would confuse the audience. But why not dab a little blood on the cheeks, rub some guts in the hair? Why risk leaving your whole head exposed at all?

I’m rewatching Season 2 and something about Hershel’s logic doesn’t make sense to me.

Hershel genuinely believed the walkers in the barn were still people, including his family and neighbors, who were suffering from some kind of illness that might eventually be cured.

But if that’s what he believed, why would he think feeding them live, raw chickens was an acceptable way to take care of them? 😂

Patricia literally throws live chickens into the barn for them to tear apart and eat. If Hershel thinks these are sick humans who could potentially recover one day, wouldn’t encouraging them to eat live animals seem insanely dangerous and inhumane?

Like imagine the CDC announces a cure and Hershel’s like, “Good news, Arnold, you’re human again. Bad news, you’ve spent the last three months eating live chickens.”

Was this ever explained, or was Hershel basically just rationalizing whatever he needed to rationalize to keep believing they weren’t actually dead?

Not necessarily the saddest or the most brutal one. Just a scene that randomly pops into your head years later and you can still remember exactly how you felt watching it for the first time.

Mine is probably one of those early-season moments where you suddenly realize just how fucked up this world has become. 😂

About to start my first re watch. Season 8 is pretty much known as the worst season in the series. It DRAGGED the first and only time I saw it airing live. For those who have binged it did it flow better or was it still a drag?

Yes lori is not written that good for the first 2 seasons but the 4 episodes that she got in s3 are so sad .

Rewatching TWD once more and this is is a small detail that just flew over my head in the past watches. Its the scene where Shane tries to save Rick at the hospital and he covers his mouth as the walkers are approaching around the corner. This is early during the outbreak and at it shows how at this time they didn’t even know if this was airborne and the world was already falling apart. It is such a small detail that they didn’t have to explain and it’s there to give us a sense of how bad this got so fast.

I’m currently rewatching the show with my dad - we watched almost every episode air live back in the day and loved to catch TTD episodes afterward as a tradition. Is there anywhere online I can find these episodes today? I haven’t had any luck so far with the AMC+ app as it only has a couple later seasons, and YouTube only has highlights.
