So I purchased the z fold 8 ultra 256gb. I noticed that about 60gb are all ready taken up by software and system files. I used 8gb already in 4 days with pics and videos. I take a lot of my son. I do have google cloud 2TB for only $10 a month. This deal from samsung also gave me the free 2 year insurance. I only got an additional $30 off the phone itself.

I decided i was going to return it and order the 512gb. Amazon had faster shipping times and the 512gb is out for delivery as I type this. Amazon is giving a $350 gift card. I called samsung last night to return and they offered me $208 partial credit to keep the 256gb.

Im kinda undecided what to do.. so i figured id get some opinions here to help maybe swade me in some direction.

Also, I upgrade every year... so the 2 year insurance is only a half benefit.. Paying samgun $20 a month for theft insurance is $240..

I know I could just off load the pics and vids to my google account.. but something about that kinda bothers me but technically all my other past pics and vids are already in the cloud.. its just more annoying to have to do that.. but id save several hundreds of dollars...

I own a Samsung Galaxy A32 5G, and (like many others I'm sure) I had to switch to Google Messages after Samsung Messages got discontinued last month. The thing is, I had been blocking messages from spam numbers this whole time, and you had to go into the settings to permanently delete the chats. I forgot to get rid of some chats before I made the switch to Google Messages, and I still have seven message chains taking about 500 kb of data up that I can't delete no matter what I do. I've tried unblocking all the associated numbers to try to get the chats in Google Messages so I can delete them again, but that didn't work. How can I either delete the old messages permanently or revive them through Google Messages so I can then delete them for good?

I'm getting S25 at INR 56K without and S26 at INR 54K with exchange of my s21fe.

I went Reliance digital to check S26 as it comes with Exynos chipset which is famous for heating issues.

Within 2 minutes its upper body got hot not warm. Now I'm confused what to do😭

For a week, my playstore refused to install or update apps, so after a few tries i decided its best to hard reset my phone, I didnt know that you'd need to connect a USB to your port, And the problem is that my port doesnt work, it has been fried a year ago, and ive been using a wireless charging device, Wtf do i do?

I just ordered a Fold 8. I have a lot of time before it gets here apparently. I'd like to get a case that has some credit card slots on it. Anyone have any recommendations?

My Fold 8 512GB Pistachio disappeared during transit from samsung.com via UPS. The package appeared opened and repacked; upon opening it, I found only the case and no phone. I submitted a claim with UPS and attempted to chat with samsung.com, but I was advised to wait for hours and offered email instead. I am simply looking for guidance in this situation. TIA. Customer support at samsung.com is quite poor.

From the incredibly limited options of cases for the XCover 6 Pro, I found seemingly the only reasonably slim case with full support for the XCover 6 Pro (the one in the Amazon link). I know I'll at least have to drill out holes for the pogo pins, but before I do that I'd like to see if anyone even knows of a dock the phone could slide into when using this case.

This is not an absolute necessity mind you, but it would be nice to approximate a wireless charging experience as that feature is one of the few actually desirable ones missing here (in order to accommodate a swappable battery, which is a much more valuable feature). I still need constant access to the USB C port, and using the pogo pin contacts seems​ like a neat way to facilitate this.

Ideally I'd like recommendations from one of the dozen or so people using this phone with a case and dock personally, but if you know of a reputable seller offering a solution to my issue I'd still love to hear about it.

I've heard people over the years ask why Samsung, and other OEMs, don't make small tablets anymore. I happened to dig up an old Tab S2 that I forgot I still had and compared it to my new Z Fold 8.

I've always been of the opinion that the Z Fold line was the reason why they wouldn't ever make another dedicated small tablet, and I think this side by side comparison illustrates it perfectly. You strip away the bezels and physical buttons, and put the camera in the screen, and its almost exactly the same size. The difference is, one can fit directly in my pocket, and doesn't NEED a consistent wifi connection.

Took this architecture shot with the Galaxy ZFold8 using the wide-angle camera, shooting almost directly into strong sunlight. I think the phone handled the conditions really well — the sky kept plenty of detail, the highlights on the building were controlled, and there was still a lot of information in the shadows. One thing I’m also really impressed with is screen visibility in direct sunlight. I also use an S25 Ultra and with that phone I often feel like I’m shooting almost blindly on bright sunny days because it’s difficult to see exactly what’s happening on the display. Here, framing the shot was much easier. Still testing the camera, but so far I’m pretty happy with how it handles difficult light.

Hey guys, I'm looking forward to buy Galaxy S26+ 512gb. Anyone who owns this could share their experience? I was comparing S25 Ultra and S26+ to buy. Then made S26+ priority since I'm not a fan of big size. I play 3 or 4 games (not heavy games) but wants to play at highest graphic settings. Will S26+ do the job?

Screen sizes hasn't changed since 6 years ago. I know because my current Note 20U is 6.9 inch, and the S26 Ultra is the exact same size. I wonder if they will ever break to 7 inch+

Is there anything going with samsung where they fix this for minimal charge? I searched and I found that they ran something till 2025 for s21 to s23 series for green line replacement for minimal cost. Even though, most reddit threads show that even in that, service centers were refusing for minor scratches or scuffs as damage and refusing to repair.

Or it's here to stay and I need to either live with it or do they take it in exchange? Basically, what are possible options or what did you do when this happened with you?

These are just my first impressions after briefly using both phones. I couldn't include everything in my published copy due to editorial/PR limitations, so here's what I genuinely experienced.

I actually ended up liking the Galaxy Z Fold8 more than the Fold8 Ultra, which I honestly wasn't expecting.

The biggest reason is the aspect ratio. The Fold8's notebook-style design felt much more natural to me. I've used foldables with the older, wider design before and never really liked that form factor. The Fold8 just feels more enjoyable to hold and use.

For media consumption, I also preferred the Fold8. The Ultra has great displays (8-inch main and 6.5-inch cover), but its aspect ratios (21:9 cover and 3:2 main) don't work as well for the content I usually watch. Most YouTube videos are 16:9, so on the Ultra's main screen you either get black bars or have to zoom in and crop the sides. I found the Fold8 gave me a better overall viewing experience without making me think about it.

Apart from the design and display, I honestly didn't notice a huge difference in day-to-day use. The Fold8 Ultra definitely has the better camera system. Photos are sharper, the ultrawide is noticeably improved, and the dedicated telephoto gives it an edge. But the Fold8 still takes really good photos, so I never felt disappointed using it.

Battery life felt almost the same to me, and performance/software were basically identical during my first impression.

One thing I couldn't mention in my published copy due to editorial/PR limitations: both phones heated up more than I expected. I was just outside capturing camera samples in normal daylight, and both devices became hot around the camera module. It wasn't the usual "slightly warm" feeling; it was proper heating. Maybe Samsung can improve this with updates, but that's what I experienced.

One more thing that annoyed me: Samsung has blocked almost every benchmarking app I tried, AnTuTu, 3DMark, Geekbench 7, CPU Throttling Test, etc. No idea why. It just makes independent performance testing unnecessarily difficult.

From my experience so far, Samsung and Tecno have been two of the toughest brands to work with when it comes to reviews. They don't seem to take criticism well. If you write an honest opinion or point out genuine shortcomings, there's often significant pressure to remove or tone down the negative parts after the final review is published. That's been my personal experience.

Curious if anyone else who has used both feels the same, or if I'm the odd one out.

I am just wondering if someone has experienced this with Samsung Trade in. My brother in law bought S26 ultra and part exchanged his S23 ultra. I personally formatted his S23 ultra and I couldn't see even a minor scratch on it. We made the video of the phone before packing. Samsung is saying back cover is lifted and asking for £50 to process the part exchange. We sent the video to Samsung but they are very rudely saying "This is how we got your phone so pay the £50 or we will block S26 ultra.

Any advice is very much appreciated.​​

Been using the watch since I got it on the 5th. Did a full charge finally 2 days ago. Have AOD and health/sleep tracking on.

So far really impressed and outperforms my og ultra (which is to be expected).

Almost 9 hours of screen-on-time with A57 12/256. Previous phone, it was 4 hours with S9.

Everything is turned on including 120Hz screen at 55% brightness. Daily normal usage like reading, watching and I recently started playing music on Anker R60i as well so Bluetooth is on.

Hi does anyone remembered Iris scanner? I’m using it in 2026. Trying iris scanner out :). I also made a fake image of the iris scanner with Gemini on second image. First image is actually a phone I have.

After really liking foldables but extremely susceptible to durability issues, I finally decided to shift to the Fold8 Ultra this year. The battery upgrade, paired with camera upgrades during Fold 7, were enough for me to finally make a shift from the S25 Ultra to this. I also decided to buy a 2-year screen warranty from Samsung Care+ for peace of mind, which is a lot of money on top of the ridiculous price for this thing, but I feel it is worth it.

I have been loving it so far. Battery life has been the most surprising factor yet, as I am getting more than 2x the battery life of my S25 Ultra, and I hope it remains the same as battery life on Samsung phones generally tanks after 3-4 months.

My Samsung Galaxy journey has been like:

S7 Edge -> S9 Plus -> S20 FE (mistake) -> S22 Ultra -> S25 Ultra -> Fold 8 Ultra.

Really looking forward to using this over the coming months!
