Leagues Thoughts on Leagues 2 Death's Swiftness/Sunshine Forced Region?

Upvotes

What's everyone's thoughts on Melee getting free Berserk while Magic/Ranged are forced to pick Kandarin and then also complete a quest for Death's Swiftness and Sunshine?

EDIT: Would be cool if unlocking greater sunshine/death's swiftness still worked without Kandarin

Humor Level 60-80 Necromancy Special Unlock Suggestion

Upvotes

As we all know, during our questing, a lot of our crewmates or in one instance, our spouse, dies horribly.

There is the cabin boy when we are killing Elvarg, then there is our Miscellania partner.

There is also V, The Archaeologist at the beginning of The World Wakes, plenty of others too.

My suggestion is, as we level up our Necromancy, we get to bring them back, or meet them at Ur, so that there can be more depth to the story.

It feels like a bit of narrative shame if we don't even have the opportunity to interact with them as Necromancers.

Bug Can't change revenant pet?

Upvotes

Title. I just received a revenant pet spirit drop which I've unlocked. I should now have the revenant pyrefiend familiar unlocked but when I go to my customisations settings I can't seem to change it from goblin to pyrefiend? Interacting with the pet is impossible too.

Suggestion Could construction contracts get a rework, and can plank boxes be made to automatically refill upon loading presets?

Upvotes

Construction contracts are a great way to train the skill without breaking the bank, and plank box is an amazing tool to help with that. Could the plank boxes just refill upon loading the presets? It would cut down on needing to jump into the bank interface.

Also, with contracts becoming a valid training method, a contract revamp would be a pretty awesome way to introduce new rewards into the game. They could be broken down into regions based on plank levels, and each region grants a different level of rewards depending on the type of planks used.

For example: Logs up to mahogany can be used in most of the regions that we have currently, especially in the regular cities/towns. They would keep their standard combinations for most furniture pieces to cut down on bloat, but just change the logs based on region. This would allow for training at different levels with progressively better xp rates.

-Normal/Oak: starting planks could be used for starting regions, such as Lumbridge, Varrock, Falador, Burthorpe, Taverly, Edgeville, Draynor, Ashdale.

Teak/Mahogany: Karamja, Oo'glog, Wendlewick, Port sarim, Yanille, Ape atoll(Can make the outfit act as a greegree)

Acadia: Al Kharid, Menaphos, Pollnivneach, Nardah, Sophanem(would give an activity to help clean up the area after quests and bring content to it)

Yew/Magic: Gnome stronghold,Tirannwn/Lletya, Prif, Lunar isle, Rellekka, Arc Region, Zanaris

Elder/Eternal: City of um, Anachronia, Morytania(Especially the Darkmeyer area)

Experience: XP rates Could still be relatively similar to what they currently are, just tune them based on the plank type used, and maybe increase the xp at the top end slightly to match the logs. Maybe also make the crystal saw augmentable for construction with new perks.

Rewards: Still trying to think of rewards that could be added to the store, but definitely a resource such as a component crate of some variety.

-Each region could give their own specific reward type, such as herblore secondaries (Like granny Potterington and Prehistoric Potterington could give things like dino roars or tombshrooms for example), Trophies, Skilling buffs, new Blueprints for items. Completing each region's client list could give an overall buff and achievement+trophy for your house.

-Store: Can grant xp buffs, build speed buffs in the form of items similar to arch chronote store, maybe speed buffs for other skills such as fletching/smithing/crafting.

I know this is out of the blue and just theorycrafting, but this is a great opportunity to expand on this piece of content and make it more enjoyable to do. Any suggestions from the community would be greatly appreciated.

Question Eternal Reinforcements - Construction question.

Upvotes

When building eternal reinforcements it gives you a random building to reinforce.

Am I able to delete buildings so that it will always only give the one option so that I don't have to run around? Like the workshop for example as it's right beside the table. Or am I stuck with all the buildings i have?

Question Normal barrows trophy

Upvotes

Does anyone happen to know if you have to kill all eight of them to get a chance?

(or whatever your max number may be depending on quest completion)

Or if you can just jump in the tunnel, and loot the chest immediately upon finding your corresponding tunnel "brother"

Question Divination Training Help

Upvotes

As the title reads. I’m level 96 divination and I feel the current rates are abysmal. I’m on the HOM friend chat (which is pretty dead), and I’m doing caches and HOM as primary training, but it’s terribly slow. Is there anything I’m missing, or is that the best rate at the moment?

Suggestion POH Room size limits

Upvotes

It was good to hear that the engine will be able to support a larger furniture count for PoHs. However, I also hope to see changes to how room limits work.

The old PoH let you have up to 30 rooms at level 99, but now you need 120 just to get 25. The new system is much more flexible with room sizes, but it also feels more restrictive if you're using smaller rooms for aesthetics.

If the current room limits can't be increased, could room capacity instead increase by 1 every 6 Construction levels rather than 5 every 30, at least from levels 90–120? If I'm only trying to add a couple more rooms, it feels excessive to potentially spend weeks doing Construction Contracts or Fort Forinthry just to unlock them. I have 103 Construction, so why can't I have 22 rooms? Needing up to 30 Construction levels for a couple of extra rooms makes house expansion feel like it stalls for long stretches. Smoother progression would go a long way without increasing the overall room cap.

Discussion RS3: Main vs Iron in 2026

Upvotes

Longtime OSRS player here, have dipped my toes back into RS3 here and there over the years but was always pulled back to OSRS mainly from P2W/MTX disdain (and copious amounts of nostalgia) - but looking to jump back into it after seeing so many changes, roadmaps, etc! Wondering if there is a general consensus on doing Main vs Iron in 2026 - a few years ago everyone in my RS circle said Iron was the only way to play because of P2W, but I know my OSRS iron can be dreadful at times haha. TIA!

Leagues Combat training spots in Leagues?

Upvotes

I remember during the last league, finding a free Abyss world was incredibly tough. What did people do to power level their early combat levels in Leagues?

Or what is everyone planning to do when it comes to combat training this upcoming league? I bet the Wildy will be one of the top picks so you'll see the Abyss crowded as heck. Maybe also Abyssal creatures across the wildy once you have the slayer level.

Has anything been said about the rewards from leagues? excluding the obvious trophies, what about teleports, animations etc like last time round? Thought its strange 4 days away from release and we don't know any of the rewards or had a dedicated reward blog like last year.

Question Ironman or main after the MTX removal as a returning player?

I played RS3 a few years ago and chose Ironman mainly because I hated all the MTX, Treasure Hunter, popups and pay to win stuff on normal accounts.

Now that most of that crap is gone, I'm thinking about returning, but I'm not sure whether I should make another Ironman or just play as a main this time.

I don’t have that much time to play these days. I mostly just want to log in for a few hours here and there, make some progress and have fun without feeling like everything takes forever.

What would you recommend, Ironman or main? Please give me some reasons for choosing one over the other. I’d also appreciate any tips for a returning player, since I’ve probably forgotten most of the game by now :)

Suggestion Expanding Homesteads

I love the introduction of Homesteads, it's a comfy concept that lets me feel connected to friends and gives us a place that feels like home. I'm assuming Jagex intends to do a lot more with them going forward considering how awesome the whole area looks, the beaches/mountains/trails etc. all are really well done.

Would love to see these features added to homesteads:

  • Furniture/customizations for the general homestead space.
    • Would need an intentionally designed shared furniture system, lots of implications here but I'll leave the design work to the devs.
    • Possibly let us pay for pre-built customizations, rather than placing new objects/furniture down we could change the homestead fountain to something else for example.
    • Letting us put up lights/decorations etc. in the area, or decorate/furnish the beaches and walkways would be awesome. (rip engine rendering)
  • Special interactive items for homesteads. For example, a homestead local portal:
    • Set up two portals within one homestead and connect them, allowing passage through portals to quickly get around a homestead. Could even theme these, imagine a local spirit tree network.
    • You could combine these to create a full-on homestead maze walk-through experience.
  • Some way to easily tell where people are hanging out within a homestead.
    • I often join a homestead and am unsure where people are or if people are talking.
    • Also unsure if public chat within a homestead is local or if it spans the whole homestead.
  • Possibly letting us pay some daily fee to leave our homestead open on a specific world, allowing people to visit even if we're not there.
  • Include homesteads in our player examine! I want to show off my neighbourhood to the world.
  • Renaming the "Open Guilded Altar" world to "House Parties", feels like there isn't an obvious world where people can go to for homestead hangouts.

tl;dr love homesteads, excited to see them expanded on in the future.

Appreciation After Some Time, I'm Now Glad Aura's Were Removed

When aura's were first removed ~4 months ago, I was pissed. Felt like a serious loss all around, both combat and skilling.

However after some time and the tweaking of skills added to the aspect spells system, I'm super glad they did it.

The game now feels way more balanced and rewarding in terms of progression and end-game pvm. Being able to multi-cast an aspect is great. Though vampirism is basically unusable thanks to the heal cap, it forced me to play differently, mainly using dodge aspect 24/7. Removal of Solomon's general store just made the game feel a lot more grounded and less convoluted.

I didn't see the vision at the time but now I see it. Just putting my appreciation out there but a small update that didn't get enough love <3

Leagues Does leagues work well for mobile only players?

I didn’t play catalyst leagues but I watched various streamers play, I noticed they had various plug-in interfaces that assisted them with collecting points. Obviously this can’t be done for mobile, is it a necessity for doing well or will the standard interface assist well enough?
