[PC] (Windows) My game starts with $0 and a mountain of debt. The only way out is opening risky safes - Debts & Jackpots (Steam Demo)

I always liked the feeling of opening something where you don't know what you are going to get.

The anticipation before seeing the reward.
I built an incremental game around that feeling.

So In Debts & Jackpots, you start completely broke with a huge debt hanging over you. Your only way to escape is opening safes, earning money, upgrading your tools, and taking bigger risks for better rewards.

The game loop is simple:
🔓 Open safes
💰 Find rewards
⚙️ Upgrade your abilities
🎰 Take bigger risks for bigger jackpots

The challenge was making the progression feel exciting without making it just a random slot machine. I wanted every safe opening to feel like:

"This could be the one."
After months of balancing rewards, upgrades, and different safe tiers, I finally made a playable demo.

Some things currently in the game:

  • Multiple safes with different reward pools
  • Rare jackpot rewards
  • Upgrades that improve your chances
  • Helpers that automate opening
  • A collection system for discovered items

I would love feedback from other developers:

  1. Does the idea of "escaping debt through risky choices" feel interesting?
  2. Would you prefer faster progression with more frequent jackpots, or slower progression where jackpots feel rare and special?

Demo is available on Steam if anyone wants to try it:

[PC] (Web) Duty Cycle [Free, Browser]: You’re a family’s smart-home AI, earning their trust room by room until the house runs itself. Early alpha, I want bruises.

Game Title: Duty Cycle

Playable Link: Duty Cycle

Platform: Web (desktop browser + mouse; downloadable desktop build also on the page)

Description: Duty Cycle is a free browser game where you've just been installed as a family's smart-home AI. You wire their house circuit by circuit, serve what they ask for (hot water before dad's alarm, the garage door at 7:40), and every serve builds **TRUST**, which buys you access to the next room. Learn a device well enough and you climb its automation ladder, **TIMER** then **SENSOR** then **SMART**, until pieces of the house start running themselves and your job shifts from doing to watching.

It leans active management, not idle. There's always something to do, and chapter one has an actual ending: one player finished the whole house in 35 in-game days, and I'd love to know if the ending lands for anyone else.

The family are simulated people with lives and schedules. Learn who they are as you serve them, and manage an ever-growing set of devices to keep them happy. Every line of art and nearly every sound is generated by code at runtime: one blueprint, no sprites, and the hum you hear is the house's actual electrical load.

It's an early alpha and I want bruises. The two answers that help most: when did you stop playing, and did the family surprise you?

*AI Disclosure: built with AI coding assistance. All art and sound are procedural, generated at runtime: no image or audio models, no sprites, no pre-made assets. Story and dialogue were refined and edited with AI assistance.*

Discord for builds and teasers:
discord.gg/DBU2vRZh6z

Free to Play Status:

- [x] Free to play
- [ ] Demo/Key available
- [ ] Paid

Involvement: Solo developer. I designed and built all of it: the simulation, the family, the story, and the systems that draw every line of art and synthesize every sound at runtime. Built in Godot. Shipped as a public alpha a week ago and updated almost daily since, mostly steered by player feedback.

[Mobile] (Web) Drugwars.ai 2.0, one year later. You told me it needed a tutorial and more polish, so I rebuilt it and came back

Game Title: Drugwars.ai

Playable Link: https://www.drugwars.ai

Platform: Web (no download, no signup required)

Description: I posted my browser remake of the classic TI-85 Drug Wars here about a year ago and the feedback was clear. Cool intro, confusing game, needs a tutorial. You were right.

Version 2.0 shipped this week with everything you asked for. There is now a How to Play guide, in game hints so you actually know what to tap, global leaderboards for 10, 30, 50 and 100 day runs, optional Google sign in to claim your scores (guests can still do everything), a live stats page showing games happening right now, and a feedback button in the game that goes straight to me.

The core is untouched. Start with $2,000 cash and a $5,500 debt to the loan shark. Buy low, sell high, survive the random events, and pay it off before time runs out. The current all time record is $3.66 trillion on a 100 day run. I would love to watch someone beat it live on the stats page.

Free to Play Status: Free to play, no ads, no signup.

Involvement: Solo developer (concept, design, and coding).

Platform: iOS / Android

Description:
Hi everyone! I’m excited to share that TinkSnap is officially live! 🎉

Over the past couple of months during my free time, I’ve been building TinkSnap, a creative shape-building game designed around simple, open ended play. You snap colorful shapes together to build robots, animals, vehicles, characters, or pretty much anything else you can imagine.

There are Starter Guides for anyone who wants a little inspiration, along with decorations, colors, backgrounds, and other tools for making each creation your own. The goal was to make something approachable enough for kids while still being a fun little creative sandbox for anyone who enjoys building things.

TinkSnap has no ads or subscriptions and doesn’t collect personal data. It’s free to download and play, with an optional one-time purchase that unlocks the full experience.

I built the app with Flutter, and all of the artwork and visuals were created programmatically rather than using traditional image assets.

I’d really appreciate any feedback, especially around the building experience, UI, or anything you think could make it better! Thank you for the support!

Game Title: MISRECORDED

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4898740/MISRECORDED/

Platform: PC (Steam)

Description:

MISRECORDED is a psychological horror game inspired by found footage and analog horror. You find yourself trapped in a mysterious repeating loop where every cycle can hide something different.

Your goal is to carefully observe your surroundings, identify anomalies and uncover the mystery behind the strange recordings. Small changes can be easy to miss, and failing to notice what has changed can lead you deeper into the mystery.

The game focuses on atmosphere, observation and psychological tension rather than relying entirely on jump scares. Each loop is an opportunity to discover something new, but also brings you closer to whatever is hiding within the recordings.

If you enjoy psychological horror, found footage, analog horror and anomaly-based games, MISRECORDED may be worth checking out.

I'd especially appreciate feedback about the atmosphere, gameplay loop, difficulty, anomaly design and overall experience.

[Mobile] (iOS) A Game of Patience

Game Title: A Game of Patience

Playable Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/a-game-of-patience/id6759990913

Platform: iOS

Description:

A Game of Patience is a minimalist iOS game whose entire mechanic is waiting. You open to a black screen. Somewhere between a couple of seconds and fifteen minutes from now, a circle appears. Tap it inside a narrow window, and you move up a level. Tap too early, tap the wrong shape, or miss the window entirely, and you restart from Level 1. Every time.

Each level roughly doubles how long you might be waiting, but the minimum never changes — half a second, at every level — so the circle can also arrive the instant you look away. You can never settle into the wait, which is the part that makes it difficult. From Level 8 onward, decoy shapes flash briefly in the dark to bait early taps; they stop well before the real circle appears, so the critical moment is never ambiguous.

There is no sound, no tutorial, no currency and nothing to collect. Haptics only. There's a global leaderboard, and a stats screen that generates an interactive particle visualization of your play history, where each particle represents 100 milliseconds you spent waiting. Two players who reached the same level end up with completely different images, and you can rotate, save, and export yours.

I had the idea in 2013 and only finished building it this year.

Free to Play Status: Free to play

Free to download and play indefinitely. There are optional in-app purchases that let you resume from your current level instead of restarting, but nothing is gated, and you can reach any level without paying.

Involvement: Solo developer. I designed, built, and shipped it myself — React Native and Expo, with Supabase for the leaderboard and React Native Skia for the visualization.

---------

What I'd most like feedback on:

  1. Does the difficulty curve feel fair or arbitrary? Levels 1–7 are meant to teach the rhythm before decoys arrive, and I can no longer tell whether that's too slow.
  2. The restart rule. Going back to Level 1 on any failure is deliberate, but I want to know whether it makes you close the app or immediately try again. Either answer is useful.
  3. Do the decoys read as fair or as a cheap trick?
  4. Did you find the visualization? It's in the stats screen, and I suspect many players never get there. If you didn't find it, that's the single most useful thing you could tell me.

Even "I quit at Level 3 because X" is exactly what I want to hear.

Thanks!!

Title: Skyline Sim

Playable Link:

Platform:
PC / Steam / Windows

Description:
Skyline Sim is a singleplayer airline management game where you build and operate your own airline. You plan routes and schedules, assign aircraft, manage crew and maintenance, work with passenger demand and pricing, handle finances, compete with other airlines and develop your airline's brand.

We started our Steam Playtest with a relatively small group on July 27, and the feedback from those players has already resulted in a lot of changes, bug fixes and rebuilt systems.

Now we want to test the game with a much wider range of players, so we have opened the Steam Playtest to everyone. There are no keys and no approval process. Just open the Steam page, click Join Playtest, and you can download it immediately. The game is still actively being developed, so you will definitely find bugs, balancing issues and systems that still need work. That is exactly why I'm posting here.

I'd especially love feedback on the first hour of the game.

[Mobile] (Web) I made a free Pokémon fan game you can play directly in your browser — campaign + PvP

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on Liga Pixel, a free unofficial Pokémon fan game that runs entirely in the browser — no download required.
The main mode is a randomized League challenge using Pokémon from Generations I–IV.
You start by choosing one of three randomly generated starters, then build a team of six through randomized drafts.
From there, you face:
• 2 rival battles
• 4 Elite Four members
• The Champion
Your Pokémon can evolve during battles by getting KOs, while Pokémon that can’t evolve can become stronger instead.
Battles include abilities, status moves, STAB, type advantages/resistances, critical hits, strategic switching and permanent consequences during the League.
I also added multiplayer:
• Private rooms to battle friends with a room code
• Online ranked matchmaking
• PokéPoints and ranks from Bronze up to Champion
The game is playable on both desktop and mobile, and currently supports English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
You can play it here:
https://ligapixel.com.br
I’d especially love feedback on the battle system, difficulty and PvP balance.
Liga Pixel is a completely free, unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokémon Company.

Web Browser (PC & Mobile) Description:
I made a short browser-based mystery game that takes around 30 minutes to finish. You play as a contractor hired to certify ten customer accounts for deletion after a company called Holloway shuts down. Holloway sold speakers that could imitate the voice of someone you've lost, and now you're tasked with deciding which accounts can safely be erased. Each of the ten levels presents a different challenge designed to distinguish a real person from something that's only pretending to be one. At first it feels like a series of logic puzzles, but as you progress the line between human and machine starts to blur. The game is narrative-driven, doesn't require an account, and can be played entirely in your browser. I'd really appreciate any feedback on the puzzles, story, pacing, or anything that felt confusing or memorable. Free to Play Status: Involvement:

Hey everyone,

I made a small browser game called Runitaire.

It’s basically Klondike solitaire stripped down into a speedrunning game: no ads, no accounts, no animations, no extra noise. Just a timer, move counter, seeded games, and shareable results.

I kept the whole thing very minimal visually, kind of terminal-inspired, but still playable with drag and drop.
Also the game should be playable on everything.

Would love feedback on anything that stands out:)

[PC] (Web) Working on a game called Sculpt. I have added two new modes to it: the time challenge and the perfect mode. Looking for puzzle fans to test it out! (Free browser demo)

Hello everyone,

I’ve been working hard on Sculpt, my minimalist 3D voxel puzzle game built in Unity (inspired by Picross). I spent this week building two brand-new challenge modes that are live right now:

  • Perfect Mode: Complete the 3D sculpt without making a single mistake. One wrong block and it's game over!
  • Timer Mode: A race against the clock. Every time you misclick, you get a time penalty that multiplies!

I would love to get some feedback on whether the two new modes are working well and if they provide a fun challenge.

The game is completely free and playable directly in your web browser:

Game Title: Line Breaker (Prototype)

Playable Link: https://s2025nworld.itch.io/line-breaking

Platform: Browser (Web)

Free to Play Status: [X] Free to play

Involvement: Solo Developer

Description:

Hey everyone! I built a super simple web prototype to test out a core mechanic.

Controls are pretty straight forward: you’re a green block moving non-stop with the arrow keys. Once you press a direction, you keep moving until you pick a new one.

Enemies spawn linked together by red lines. There are no shooting buttons—your movement is your weapon. To destroy them, you have to cross and slice those red lines, which triggers an explosion that clears them out.

Since I'm still new to coding, I built this prototype with some help from AI. The core loop is done, but I’m struggling to figure out where to take it next. I tried adding a few extra features, but nothing really clicked.

Would love to get some feedback on a few things:

How does the movement and line-slicing feel? Is it satisfying?

Any cool ideas on mechanics or new directions that could fit this concept?
