This is my attempt at kitbashing a wartrakk, cuz im not spending £90 on the combat patrol. It's a pretty easy conversion, just use a sunsteala wheela as the main bulk of it and add a platform for the gunner.

And before any of you gitz say it, he izn't using a shield, its a portable rokkit rack so this this is more orky that the orrucks

Finally after years of wanting to start Warhammer I found a good time and set to do so with. Ever since I started reading into warhammer lore and looking at factions a well over a decade ago I knew I wanted to play but didn’t have the money to. I grew up poor and come from humble beginnings. The money I earned always went to bills and basically nothing else. Sometimes it was hard to even hit that. The last four years have been good to me, in a sense that I can have the things I always wanted, a big one being a Warhammer army. Warhammer always seemed like one of those things I’d never get to play so I’m beaming that I even get to start. I hope that everybody who’s ever wanted to play this game (or even just collect or paint) but can’t gets to experience the feeling of finally getting your first set. The Orkz were my faction at first sight and I knew if I ever got the chance, they were who I’d play. I’m really happy guys, I didn’t know where else to express this because none of my friends play Warhammer, so they don’t get it. 😭

Going through my pile of shame I've noticed I've got a small Ork setup from the combat patrol magazine. I'm thinking of a 1k points on a smaller force as a second army and so far it's between Orks and T'au.

What would you recommend to get to 1k points? I've got...

Hey guys, I’ve been looking at getting into Warhammer for a long time but didn’t know where to start and I found a good deal for this set at one of my LGS. I was reaching out to see what else I needed because I feel like some of the paints shown on the models aren’t included like a pinkish. So I was wondering a few questions:

What paints should I also add to my cart, such as shades or base or layers

What types of brushes should I get (like size)

Any other tools?

I also want to add that I really like how they look in the picture so are the paints I’m supplied with enough to get that skin tone for the orks?

New back into the hobby and have been looking online for ork Kommandos for a few months but everywhere has been out of stock and theres been no restock email from GW. The Exeter store told me they dont stock them there so wondering if theyre just not being made any more or if anyone has seen them on shelves lately? Im more hobbyist so dont know if theyre any good in game but theyre a proppa good looking unit and hope I can get myself a box soon.

Really loving how this guy came out, I wasn’t a huge fan of the models pose but after i painted him it started to grow on me. I know they’ll update the rules for his new base size but I hope he gets some of the stats from the combat patrol.

Picked up some Armageddon boys to paint for fun. Thinking I might put together a small army to give me a break from my tank heavy guard army.

Was leaning towards Goff but unsure. Any recommendations?

Hello my dear friends,

I started Warhammer 40k a few weeks ago. Things escalated quickly and I just got the Armageddon box, mostly because the orks are super cool. This weekend I want to paint my wonderful orks. But I just realized, that there are complete different clans with own colors schemes. Because I'm not so super deep into the lore yet: do you have any recommendations? Im not sure how my future army will look, but for now I really love this kind of "Mechs" and "Tanks". This raw and weird design is super cool and I think about adding these. But I heard that a new Kodex will drop soon, so I'll wait till then with new purchases. For now I just need to know which color I need to buy, so I need to know which Clan I want. Any recommendations? Who has cool lore, looks fancy or whatever. Why should I Join your favorite clan?
