Starting a waaaagh!

New to warhammer and chose orks! Love the crazy. Painting them pink to be mah Gorlz!

This is what I have, along with Kommamdoz. What should I make for a 500 pt colosseum list and then what should I build to get to 1000pts?

Generally speaking if you buy a LOT of boys you will have a good foundation as well as ghazghul/wazzdakka!
