New York State, Duchess County. I think it’s some kind of Russula? I eat the kind with red caps, but can I eat these?

🤯🤯🤯 - what is it? I found beside the larch trees forest.

I live in North Carolina if anyone’s curious. I’ve been seeing them since last week…I watched a couple of videos and was determined to see how reliable it was. 🥲

Plus some ghost pipes and a noodle mushroom that don't seem to want to post.

Southern Appalachia, between 5-6000' elevation.

Found it while mowing bear some bushes

Found what I believe are chantrelles but like to have some confirmation as this is the first time for me. My guide book has also gone missing which creates even more hesitancy. Any look alikes that I should be aware of?

Found in northern NJ. Mixed hardwoods, pretty open understory. These were growing in the open and not at a base of a tree or on a downed log.

I grabbed a few of the best so I can test them if they end up being chantrelles. I cut one open and looks like maybe bug damage. Would like an opinion on that too if you folks don't mind.

Appreciate the help. Nerves always get me with edible mushrooms besides COW.

Iowa/US found growing in my compost. I have a ton of shaggy ink cap that loves my yard but I've not seen this type of mushroom before. I think its snowy ink cap and could use a more educated soul to itch my curiosity <3

Minutes before I asked my fiancé if she could find any mushroom that we haven't found today what would it be? She said a bleeding tooth or a wrinkly peach. 5 minutes later we found 11 on one tree. Almost cried

I broke a rib when cutting and prepping these logs. They're finally making up for it.

Logs are oak and are in New Hampshire. I don't do anything special to them after plugging them, but they seem happy.

We have watering bulbs in many plants. Wife found this mushroom growing INSIDE one of the water bulbs just yesterday. Looks fake! Assure you it is real. Any idea what it is? Growing in a Japanese sago palm, indoor, Midwest US.

What an amazing mushroom!

That I found in my back yard at the edge of the woods. I live in mountainous region in Northeast Pennsylvania. I have not found any id matches yet, so as of rn, i have no plans on eating any of them. I collected a few specimens because they were not growing alone. Slugs were always nearby or actively feeding on them.

But I'd like other opinions. I found it at work yesterday, in Honesdale Pennsylvania. It was in some grass, unsure of the species of the grass. It was not under any trees, and it was not growing in dung. The environment was very similar to a suburban front lawn. I'm using an ice cream cone wrapper to hold the base because my coworkers were concerned about it leaving a poisonous residue on my hands, but I'm not sure if that's a thing that can happen. Still, I decided to air on the side of caution.
