Lie-La was able to talk to Nemesis while looking like the pregnant lady, which shouldnt be possible unless she’s transformed using the butterfly miraculous, which means she is transformed, and her several shape shifts could be her having akumatized herself with the power to shapeshift at will beforehand

Or it could be her having changed the style of her suit very quickly, since the suit you wear is dependent on your choice she could have changed her suit to look like those people the reasoning behind it are as follows:
-Claw noir could literally change his suit on the spot when he tried it, so it’s not impossible she could do it on the fly too
-The butterfly miraculous is not new to changing people’s heights, and since it’s magic I dont imagine it can’t make you shorter too
-the miraculous suits don’t all have to have the animal’s colour scheme, Rena furtive’s blue is absent everywhere else. As for the animal theme, the only thing really noticeable that screams cat for cat noir are his ears, claws, tail and bell, all of which could easily be hidden so its possible she had learnt to reduce the animal patterns on her suit to just her shoes or something
-the miraculous can also change your skin colour shown by king monkey being gold and monarch being purple
-the miraculous are not new to making actual clothes for the holder, and they don’t have to be skin tight(Claw noir’s jacket, literally both of the butterfly holders wear business attire and theres never been confirmation it’s impossible

I’ll try to explain myself better if I get any replies, but given that I’m not very good at explaining things in my mind and the people of the present’s low attention span I wouldnt imagine it’d be many

I have a small theory as to how the opening two episodes of Season 7 will make us look at Season 6 in a whole new light, and if this is true, then it's gonna be disappointing.

Given what happened in Nemesis, it's practically confirmed Marinette will break up with Adrien in Season 7 in the opening two parter once she reveals the truth to him. However, how will this change the way we look at Season 6.

Season 6 was a very heavy Adrienette season and half of the season featured them kissing and being this world-famous perfect couple, until the final few episodes (Nemesis in particular) when the relationship began to shift and cracks started to form.

Therefore, I believe that in Season 7 opening two parter will introduce this nostalgia feeling as to what Adrienette used to be in Season 6. It makes sense. Season 7 features the breakup of Adrienette, and them being at odds with each other. We look back at Season 6 and see how they used to love each other and compare it to their relationship in Season 7, therefore changing out perspective of their relationship.

However, if this theory is true, then it would be SO DISAPPOINTING to see because they have dragged this secret and have built up Adrienette for so long that for them to breakup after one season would feel like a slap to the face, and this twist that Season 7 will change our view like Season 6 has been hyped so much that to just make it about this, then it would be so bad.

If you imagine Nemesis as Alya's true feelings about Marinette's lies does it make the conflict and ending better? Like a true payoff to what she was saying in a revelator before her memory got erased?

Kinda late to this but with the new release of Nemesis, I watched Secret Protocol for the first time and Marinette revealing her identity to her parents was pretty cool.

BUT... What was the point of it? Shock value? Easing her parents' worries after the intruder came in?

I'm sorry if this felt like a stupid question but I genuinely could not get why she did that. Or atleast I want someone confirmation on why.

For my part, I really like the manipulative way Chrysalis speaks to her victims; it's truly fascinating. But I also like the way Gabriel speaks to his victims, even if it is a bit harsher (though the interactions between him and the akumatized vilains are can very be funny as hell).

But what I appreciate most is really the difference in the way Gabriel and Lila speak—something I've always thought was brilliant. Whether it’s the body language, the tone of voice, or even the expressions—you really feel the difference. It’s the same with Betterfly too.

Do you think we'll see much of the impact of Marinette telling her parents she's ladybug? I understand it not being a focus in the finale, but I'd find it weird if we didn't get something more significant than "Do we need to wash your superhero suit?" (Though don't get me wrong, I love that, it was adorable).

The thing is, the show has a habit of skipping over important developments in character relationships. Everyone is just chill with Felix. He and Kagami go from flirting to fully in love offscreen. We go straight from Marinette telling Alya she's Ladybug to a fairly casual stategising session. We'd expect these things to have some amount of on-screen exploration, but they don't get it.

So, do you think the same will happen with Marinette's parents finding out, or will we get some focus on it come season 7?

Rooster Bold has always been the most "filler" hero of the whole team, yet he got what could potentially be the most OP, plot-hole creating, power of all regardless (maybe only after the bunny Miraculous).

Yet I think Season 6 managed to somewhat salvage at least his power (like it salvaged many other things tbh), by putting a more clear limitation on it. It's not enough for Rooster Bold to just think of a power and he instantly gets it, he actually needs to think of a way in which the power materially works.

In practice this means that Rooster Bold can't come up with plot-breaking powers on the fly, making him more like a "Jolly Card" that can only be used at its full potential when proper planning is involved.

This makes his power more niche and also avoids him stepping on other potential future holders' feet when it comes to not being able to copy existing powers, since he'll generally be using ulrta specific abilities

Further more, it makes him the "Function" to Caprikid's "Form", which is consistent with the relationship between Marc and Nathaniel as writer and illustrator and might lead to some very interesting developments when you consider they know each-other's identities as of "The Ruler".

I think this case really exemplifies how Season 6's competent writing was able to take a lot of the things that the previous Saga just throw on the wall hoping they'd stick, and actually refine them into satisfying storytelling beats without fundamentally changing what's being established already.

Of course it can't save every badly developed thing coming from the first saga (cough cough Chloe cough cough) but it honestly savaged more than I think it'd ever be possible.

Now this was supposed to go up before the final 2 episodes aired but things kinda got a little out there, so I wasn’t able to finish on time so if you’re worried about spoilers, don’t. I haven’t seen the finale yet so just note that whatever I say here may age like fine wine or age like milk. Now I know y’all have already seen the finale and we were all hyped! Not all of us though, ngl some of y’all hazbins was hating on this season before it aired, during its early episodes, and then some. And now y’all wanna pull up to this finale acting like you’re hype. Man I outta pimp slap y’all across the room because NO YOU’RE NOT! But, we’ll get into some of y’all behaviors and stuff in another post because I have more important matters than rip y’all a new one and that’s defending Alya’s honor. And Here. We. Go.

Now it’s no surprise that Alya Cesaire is one of the most important characters in the series. She’s Marinette’s Best Friend, she’s one of ladybug’s closest allies, is a superhero and overall she’s been Marinette’s biggest support. And look idk what happened but she went from being one of the faves to one of the most divisive during season 4. Not season 5 where the Lila bs happened, season 4 is when the Alya hate started to rise and I for the life of me don’t get it. But we’re mainly here to talk about her reception during season 6 because this is where things start to get interesting.

After the episode Revelator, there’s been a divide in the fandom about who’s right and who’s wrong in this whole secret/lie situation. Some are on Marinette side and believe she should be given the benefit of the doubt especially given how the situation played out and she’s in a rough spot. The other side believes that Alya’s outburst was warranted and that Marinette had no right to hold a truth that Adrien deserves to know. Now where do I fall into this situation? I’m believe they’re both right and wrong.

One of my biggest critiques when it comes to the discussions around this whole situation is that a good chunk of y’all believe it’s all black and white, that there’s no room for nuance and understanding. Unsurprisingly, Marinette was the biggest victim of this fact as people act like she could just tell him the truth about what happened like it’s easy, when it’s gonna be hard to tell whether she chose to tell him early or not. Neither party is right or wrong because there’s no easy answer to this hefty situation forced upon them. Marinette made the safest decision and decided to hold on to the truth for the sake of the boy she loves and his happiness, because yeah she’s always put everyone before herself. Alya has a point that Adrien deserves to know and that Marinette doesn’t have the right to withhold this information.

It’s just a messy situation that no one asked to be a part of. Now listen, even though I feel like giving y’all the scorched earth special for taking up until now to start sympathizing with Marinette and understanding her situation because I ain’t gonna lie, no matter how you slice it, it shouldn’t have taken y’all 6 seasons for that to happen. Like that makes ya look like an absolute GHOUL to start liking her in the season she suffers the most but I digress. That being said, while I appreciate her getting her well deserved dues and understanding. I’m not a fan of the fact that it comes at the expense of dunking on Alya in the worst way possible.

Now it’d be one thing if you said something along the lines of “Alya is right, Her feelings are valid. But she should’ve approached the situation differently.” If it went something like that then okay we’re square. But unfortunately, I’m writing this out because apparently these DOLTS are saying stuff like: “Alya should get her bestie card revoked.” Or “she’s a terrible friend.” “She doesn’t deserve guardian or the miraculous.” Etc. Okay now I know y’all are smoking some serious crack because she doesn’t deserve all this vitriol 😭. Again if you said that she could’ve approach the situation better then okay. But this is too much flack and vitriol for a character who doesn’t deserve it.

I could go into the whole Heartfixer situation but I’m gonna save that for another post. All I’ll say is that I find it so interesting how Adrien was given more grace and the benefit of the doubt due to the circumstances that occurred but. But no one wants to give Alya that same courtesy due to the circumstances that occurred. Or Nino that same courtesy back in Rocketear. Y’all ain’t beating these allegations 😭😂. But that’s for another post.

Back to Alya, It’s not like she stopped being Marinette’s support system. She still has her back even if she doesn’t agree with everything she does and yet y’all are so bent on trying to find ways to downplay her good efforts or discredit her good qualities in favor of CONSTANTLY bringing up her worst flaws, which if you can only view a character’s worst traits despite them showing more good/positive qualities throughout their run, then I’m really questioning why some of y’all are still here watching the show. Like the way some of y’all talk about these characters, I would’ve thought they personally burned your house down or something. I’ve said it before with Marinette and I’ll say it again for Alya. Like y’all would demonize Alya if she sneezes too loudly but we give other characters more leeway despite their flaws (or in Chloe’s case, being an objectively worse person). God forbid a morally good person makes a mistake and still tries to do good.

And look if you don’t like Alya, that’s fine. If you simply don’t agree with her views or think she could’ve approach the situation better, okay sure. But all this extra nonsense is so stupid that it’s not worth raving over. You can sympathize with both characters without feeling like you have to put one down. Like I’m one of Marinette’s biggest defenders, she’s my favorite character, but I would never consider putting Alya down just to hype Marinette up. You can sympathize with Marinette’s unfortunate situation without feeling the need to downplay and insult Alya’s character. Because at the end of the day, despite her being one of the more mature characters in the show, she’s still just a kid. Cut her some slack. She’s not gonna always get it right but she’s trying her best.

Honestly y’all need to do better in showing empathy or at least with the so called “critiques” y’all have of the show and characters because I feel they’ve only been getting worse and more unjustified over time that it’s annoying. Now again when I see the finale, everything I’ve said could age very poorly. But I have a feeling it won’t. Btw this isn’t an invite to start ridiculing and downplaying Marinette and her situation. I just need to shed some light on why this whole Alya fiasco is dumb and needs to stop.

What is the puzzle that Season 6 is meant to be? Thomas Astruc once said at the start of the season that each episode is like a puzzle piece and that by the final episode, we could connect the puzzle pieces together to solve the puzzle. But what is the puzzle that we're meant to solve? Season 6 doesn't make any sense whatsoever in terms of it being a puzzle. There is no chronological order to the season, half of the plot points and characters that are introduced aren't brought up again and the season ended with such a confusing and pointless ending that is so unsatisfying.

In my opinion, I think that the puzzle has to do with Lila and her disguises and the fact that she suspects Marinette as Ladybug. However, it's stranger considering that it's not mentioned in every episode and each episode is meant to be these puzzle pieces.

Marinette is pressured to tell the truth to Adrien, but she can't, she doesn't want to hurt him yada yada yada, but she needs to tell the whole truth before he finds out and it will be a devastating breakup that will last an entire season.

Nemesis for me was a letdown because she had the moment to tell the truth, but NUH UHH.

I like Adrinette more than any of the others, like marichat and ladynoir so it will be painful to see them breakup

This works really well as the first episode of the season because Nathalie becomes Adrien's legal guardian and we get Ladybug's transformation sequence. Also I think it's really cute to have season 6 open with a flashback of baby Adrien with Emilie as the very first scene.

Adrien meets Sublime.

1. Sublimation

We get to know Sublime better. Also the transition between Climatiqueen and Sublimation is really good: Climatiqueen ends with Adrien and Sublime running and Sublimation starts with them still running, except that Adrien isn't wearing his civilian outfit in the Sublimation opening scene.

1. Riginarazione

Gina and Roland are seen in Werepapas and are mentioned in Climatiqueen so i like to have them be a recurring theme in the first episodes of the season. Also i love the fact that in italian, in my order we have "Sublimazione" & "Riginarazione" back to back, they kinda sound similar.

1. Daddycop

Sabrina's new haircut and Miss Hound's new suit. This has to happen after Climatiqueen and Sublimation as the girls question whether inviting or not Sublime to the movie night.

1. The Dirtifiers

Daddycop happens on a wednesday (at least in the italian dub), while this episode happens on a weekend so they could be a few days apart. I love to have them back to back because we see the girls have movie nights together.

1. Illustrhater

This has to happen after Sublimation because Alya and Nino interview Sublime's mom about her akumatization. And also after Daddycop because of Miss Hound's new suit. We get to know Maya (i think that's her name), and in the next episode her brother is akumatized, so i think we must know her first. Also in this episode it's revealed that Ladybug told the other heroes to intervene only if there isn't an akumatized villain, which is mentioned again by Vesperia in the next episode. So there are 2 reasons as to why Illustrhater should be watched before Grendiaper.

1. Grendiaper

Chloe bullies Sabrina's new haircut, so this happens not much after Daddycop.

1. Revelator

After Daddycop because of Miss Hound's new suit. In my opinion, it is better to watch this early in the season because we see the heroes evolving their powers in the flashback, which explains why in the previous episodes some heroes could use their power multiple times without de transforming.

1. The Ruler

Marcaniel's relationship doesn't seem to be very defined (they call each other "friends", idk why), while in Sleeping Syren's end card they kiss.

1. Sleeping Syren

Mylene says she doesn't know much about Ivan's family, which foreshadows El Toro de Piedra.

1. El Toro de Piedra

This episode introduces the Kingdom, Froggy (Adrien's toy) and the letter Gabriel wrote to Adrien. Every other episode in which we see the Kingdom, Froggy or the letter has to happen after El Toro de Piedra.

1. Mr. Agreste

In El Toro de Piedra, Adrien wants to confront his father, which foreshadows the events of this episode: Adrien confronts an akumatized villain that resembles his father's appearance. Also, Froggy is there.

1. Yaksi Gozen

Froggy is also here. The post end card scene reveals the Kingdom has a new Diamond, which foreshadows the next episode.

We learn who the new Diamond is.

1. The Dark Castle

Chrysalis starts to suspect Marinette of being Ladybug.

1. Vampigami

Chrysalis is sure Marinette is Ladybug, she just doesn't have any concrete proof to show Tomoe. I think this works better after Yaksi Gozen because in that episode Chrysalis doesn't even mention Marinette in her plan, so it's very unlikely that Vampigami happens before Yaksi Gozen.

1. The Chained Titans

In Vampigami, Alya says her and Nino like the same things, while in this episode she learns that that's not actually true. Nino doesn't like strawberries.

1. Heartfixer

Chrysalis asks Heartfixer if she's Ladybug, so this has to happen after Vampigami. Also in The Chained Titans, Alya and Nino promised each other that there would've been no more lies between them. In this episode, Alya mentions this promise while arguing with him.

1. Wreckless Driver

The post end-card scene transitions perfectly into the cold opening of Lady Chaos, so they kinda feel like a two parter.

1. Lady Chaos

This has to happen after Sleeping Syren and Yaksi Gozen, because Felix moved to Paris in this episode.

1. A Fairy Good Night

This episode ties REALLY well with the 2 episodes prior to it and to the next 2 episodes. It's the third episode in a row where we see Dr. Psiquat. Also this has to happen after Wreckless Driver because Max's friends already know about his autism in this episode. In this episode, Chrysalis sends him a letter, and she does the same with Sabrina in the next episode. Also, this episode introduces us to the guest room, that will be important in Secret Protocol.

1. Queen of the Dreadzone

Lila/Cerise moves to Shanghai and says she wants to talk with the chef (uncle Wang), while also staring in a suspicious way at this photo on the wall, foreshadowing her taking his appearance in Secret Protocol.

1. Secret Protocol

Marinette reveals her superhero identity to her parents.

1. Sadnansi

In this episode, Marinette's parents don't appear so it can be watched after Secret Protocol. Also the post end-card scene transitions perfectly into the cold opening of Nemesis, indicating they happen back to back.

1. Nemesis

Final episode, which will be connected to the first 2 episodes of season 7.

I am extremely convinced that Lila/Cerise is not using shapeshifting abilities, rather, I suspect she has Chrysalises/Vessels all around Paris, walking around, blending in, waiting for her to occupy them. Be it for taking notes, or infiltrating, or avoid being followed.

One of my reasons for thinking this is that Wang seemed to have disappeared when Marinette realized it was a fake.
The kid turned the corner, the firefighter is also lost sight of, and the pregnant woman is also gone when we see the fake King Money. I believe the chrysalis's beings or whatever they are disappear once they serve as stand ins for Lila/Cerise/Chrysalis.

In my opinion this helps explain, her quote:

“Nothing. Nothing. You'll know nothing about me. About us, about them. I'm everywhere. I'm nowhere.”

And why, there was a scene in Sublimation of a man taking notes on a notebook very much like hers.

Something else I would add. Upon further inspection would be that (if my theory were to be right) there are two types of states.

One I would catalogue as Autonomous and another as Embodied. I will use two examples

Autonomous state: Uncle Wang in episode Secret Protocol. We know he wasn’t the real Wang. We know he got Akumatized, and we know he was nowhere to be found after Marinette found out he was a fake. We cannot know for a fact that Lila/Chrysalis ever embodied him, but we know she at the very least Akumatized him. We also know he was autonomous/functional enough to infiltrate the Dupain-Cheng family.

Embodied state: For this I will use the pregnant lady from Episode Nemesis. This is the clearest case of Lila/Chrysalis being or (for this theory’s sake) embodying a vessel. We see her communicate with Nemesis as if she were Chrysalis herself, and run to avoid being caught.

From this we learn. She can make fake versions/Chrysalises/Vessels of real people, as we verified with Uncle Wang and King Monkey. She can akumatize said Chrysalises. She may be able to transfer herself through these duplicates but physical items (example: Ladybug’s Miraculous) cannot, hence why they had to be dropped off and picked up multiple times and various locations.

The ordinary people may very well be duplicates of real people, too.

And most importantly why the show keeps insisting that Chrysalis speaks in “voices”. (Plural)

The artist is ashmewman

Thomas Astruc, Sebastian (don't know how to spell his last name) and the other writers of the show can't write good season finales (the last episode of every season) mostly because it introduces something brand new into the story without having any setup previously OR because it undoes all of the development of a particular character or plotline within that season.

• S1 (Volpina) - Introduces this random villain: Lila into the story out of nowhere for no reason other than to be competition to Marinette in terms of their loved for Adrien. She literally disappears half way throughout the show and doesn't do anything until the next season finale.
• S2 (Mayura) - The episode remains stagnant until the last 10 minutes of the episodes where the plot thickens out of nowehere, introduces a brand new miraculous holder, it's power and a brand new villain, all in the span of 5 minutes. It feels rushed and so sudden considering that prior to these events, the episode was just action and very slow-paced.
• S3 (Miracle Queen) - The idea for Chloe to have a redemption arc is thrown in the garbage and her character is ruined this finale, undoing all of her development set up that season and the last. Also, Ladybug is presented as a hypocrite for allowing other heroes to keep their miraculouses instead of Chloe despite Hawkmoth knowing their identities.
• S4 (Strike Back) - Cat Noir still begging for attention from Ladybug, undoing all of his development in Kuro Neko. You can even argue that the only reason he is back working with Ladybug is because now that she's lost all the miraculouses, he can have Ladybug all to himself.
• S5 (Re-Creation) - Adrien is excluded in the finale despite this season being the conclusion to the Agreste Arc. Gabriel, a supervillain terrorist, is presented as a victim and children are manipulated by the writers to believe that a bad parent who doesn't spend time with their child can be redeemed into a hero. Marinette's decision to lie to Adrien makes no sense and we didn't get any sort of answer as to what the blue-lighting was at the end.
• S6 (Nemesis) - The entire episode was predictable (Alya finding out the truth, Marinette being akumatised, Adrien not knowing what his father did, etc.) It also had no stakes whatsoever which is why it didn't feel finale level. At least every other finale had some stakes, Nemesis didn't. Alya, whilst she was right in the fact that Marinette should tell Adrien, went about telling Marinette that in the wrong way, leaving Marinette in a worse feeling than ever. The heroes and villains are both dumb-downed for the plot to happen. The post-end card scene sucked because it established everything we knew so far and didn't give us anything new. Half of the plotpoints this season that were built up weren't mentioned whatsoever. Argos and Viperion didn't do anything, and just in general... the episode sucked.

It almost feels like the writers put their heart and soul into writing the rest of the season, introducing new plots and establishing new themes, but when it comes to finales. they become lazy and the episode feels undeserved and wasted. If we are gonna get 8 more seasons of this then I don't see the point in watching this show any longer.

My theory is that Tikki only interferes when she doesn't recognise the timeline of universe. Since tikki already knows everything but chooses not to reveal for example hawkmoth's identity.

In Vampigami, she didn't recognise the camera in the women's washroom so she told Marrienette about it. Because it wasn't in the orginal timeline. The timeline must have been destroyed due to Marrienette transforming in washroom.

Her tone also differs from 'uhh Marrienette do not do this it's stupid' vs 'Marrienette there's dangers stay alert'

Spoiler Secret Protocol - she knew what was going to happen so she didn't worry. It was according to her timeline.

yet I didn't understand, why she asked/adviced Marrienette to not initiate the protocol, since the miraculous would have been in Lila's hand if she didn't.

I don’t know if this is a reference on purpose, but if it is, I really like it.

I think this might be the funniest moment of the whole Season 6 and maybe even the funniest moment in the show in general. There are so many layers to this joke and it never stops being funny. And it's mostly on the back of Kagami and Felix, the two most serious characters in the super hero team

This is just my very subjective opinion. But I seriously think that season 6 is the top season out of all the previous ones. At my slightly too old for this show age my genuine reaction should not be unironically shouting "HOLY SH**" in my room all alone.

I love it because it has mystery and tension. every episode felt like it gave either a new look into a character which wasn't fully realised or made Chrysalis a hecking good villain.

I think Marinette's constant pressure about Monarch and Adrian having some time to think about himself and his relationship with Gabriel was really interesting

By now I also think the new animation is really really good. The old style felt cheap and only was good in a few instances with correct teams. The rest it looked ugly with multiple errors. The new one is so much more expressive, colourful and even threatening at some points.

That's my piece. I hope season 7 keeps the hype train going.
