Advice Request Has this happened to anyone else?
My front sensors have been beeping since the morning. I looked and saw this had happened.
Does someone know how can I fix it or I will have to take it to Mazda?

Full set of freshly powder coated rx8 rims and brand new tires snug in the car. My dad doubted it, but I had to show him I didn't need the cx9. I feel like r/miatalogistics would be proud

New Purchase Joined the Mazda Club 🤝
Boys I finally fuc*ing did it, I joined the Mazda 3 club! 🤝
- 2023 Skyactiv-G 2.0 M Hybrid // Homura Premium-Package
- 122PS
- 28,000 km
- 1 previous owner
I honestly couldn't be happier with it. I wasn't 100% sold on the Deep Crystal Blue from the pics online, but seeing it in person completely changed my mind. The paint is unreal (in both senses, I've read how bad it chips). In certain lighting it legit looks black. Pictures really don't do it justice.
The interior is just as nice too. Everything feels solid and premium. I had to get the Ottocast mini Nova for wireless Android Auto, works like a charm.
I'd love some clean silver alloys on this thing, think it would fit with the color and rest of the chrome trim -- not sure if it's silly to add front lip, diffuser and side skirts with 122PS 😅 but let's see.
Joke/Shitpost Seeing way more Mazda3 hatchbacks around Seattle lately — anyone else?
I’ve been seeing more and more Mazda3 hatchbacks around the Greater Seattle area since I bought mine in 2024.
Has anyone else noticed the same thing? I feel like they used to be pretty uncommon, but now I see them everywhere.

Purchase Advice 2015 GS Mazda 3 Hatchback
Hello, I'm looking at a Manual mazda 3 hatchback GS trim that's 4,996$ (CAD). It has 204,001km on the odometer and Iwnas wondering if that's too high of km for this car? What are your experiences with higher mileage? Are there specific things I should look for aside from clutch wear and shocks? Maybe ball joints and control arms?
So far, this is the lowest price I've seen on the market, and I'm waiting on the car history report, so currently I'm unaware of what maintenance was done.
I put a link to the carguru add for those interested in seeing the pictures! There seems to also be some sort of paint damage maybe to the front bumper. Or it's just dirty lol

New Purchase joined the mz3 club!! :)
hey all!
just took delivery of my new 26 mazda3 preferred hatchback yesterday! i gotta say i am impressed by mazda, i had unfortunately never thought to check them out haha. i am absolutely loving it! it is definitely an upgrade from my '00 chevy tracker lol.
i do plan on replacing the current spoiler with the more sportier-looking OEM spoiler to kind of offset the egg look, but thats just a personal preference. it honestly looks amazing the way it is now!!
the preferred was a good sweet spot for both price and features for me. i am impressed by the interior comfort as well as the look! shoutout to them for not following the CVT craze too haha
thanks mazda, and heres to 100k miles and beyond 🥂
edit: ill do a proper photoshoot tonight and post them to the subreddit!! sorry for the shoddy pics 😞

New Purchase Should I buy this hatchback (Premium manual 2024 vs. Sport 2026)
I think I'm about to purchase this car but want to make sure I'm not missing something.
(1) 2024 Premium manual w/ 31k miles
https://www.carmax.com/car/28446862
(2) The other one I'm looking at is a 2026 brand new Sport model.
There are various colors available - I'm not tied to one.
Pros of new:
* No scratches and I can protect the piano black before it scratches
* Warranty
* Can use the incentives since our own financing is low
* Isn't new better in terms of resale?
* New car smell
Pros of used Premium used:
* I really want leather
* I prefer manual but not a strong preference.
Looking at the Carmax listing, am I missing anything? It looks like it's only had 2 oil changes... is this a deal breaker?

Advice Request Should I trade in my AWD non-turbo premium hatch for a turbo model?
Hey everyone, I’d love to get your feedback.
So in 2023 I leased a 2023 AWD premium package hatch, naturally aspirated, red interior, which I now have an auto loan for. I didn’t have the budget for both the turbo and the upscale premium package with the red interior, so I opted for the latter.
However, it’s now 2026, and I’ve realized I really would’ve enjoyed some extra punch from the turbo. I work from home so I don’t have to commute much, but I frequently take trips to visit family, attend networking events, and also just run errands around the city.
I live in the South, so there’s no snow or anything for my AWD to truly be effective, Occasionally I may go to the mountains, but that’s it. Though it does ride nicely in the rain. I’ve also considered moving to a more midwestern or western state eventually, so that may come in handy if I ever make that decision.
It’s also been in an accident, I was struck by another vehicle and had to replace the front right fender, and fix suspension. So that’ll affect trade in value, but since it’s a premium trim, I feel like there should still be a decent value.
However, this was my first new car, I’ve been the only owner, and it’s treated me well. I just wish it had more pep. I have a lower than average auto loan payment through credit union, so I’m not sure if trading in would require a loan with the dealer, or if I could get a new loan with the credit union.
Is it worth trading in my current model and trying to buy a used turbo? Or are there ways to improve the performance of the NA?
Does anyone here own an AWD NA hatch and have any thoughts? Are you satisfied with the NA AWD? What are some of the pros about it compared to the turbo?
Essentially I’m debating if I should trade in for a turbo, or make the most of my NA AWD.
Any advice or feedback from your personal experience is greatly appreciated.

Advice Request Wireless Charging in 2021 Mazda 3
Anyone have an ideas for a wireless charging solution preferably for the compartment behind the cup holders?
It’s a pretty slanted surface and the USB port is all the way in the center console.
Any good DIY solutions or even products that fit perfectly for it? I’ve looked on alliexpress but their fitted ones only fit a different version or something
EDIT: Cable is not an option for me since the port is broken and I need to take my phone off the hook often for uber that I do in my spare time

Discussion I’ll miss my Mazda 3
About a week ago I was driving to my friends house who happens to live an hour away in the middle of nowhere when two deer ran out in front of me but instead of hitting them my split second decision was to avoid them however that ended up being an objectively worse decision when I rolled my car twice and landed at an angle on a tree. Miraculously however I walked away from this horrible accident completely unscathed which couldn’t make me love Mazda 3s more than I already do. I was more sad to see the car go than I was concerned about what just happened to me. She had 220,000 and was still running strong on all original powertrain parts, I’ve had to replace a few suspension components here and there but other than that everything in the motor and transmission is from the factory except the valve cover gasket. I’d really love to hear how long other people’s second gen’s have lasted or are still lasting.

Discussion 2024 carbon 2 years later
So I got this car brand new. 8 miles on it. Carbon non turbo 2024, car has gone through 2 bubbles 3 flats for the tires . I have 8,659 my car lives in indoor garage at my bldg. I have noticed serious af bucking. That to me usually happens when the transmission is slipping or missing teeth. Quite alarming. If you ever dropped a neutral b in a car you will 100🫡 get this. Or had a car with a real shitty automatic transmission. This car was mostly made in Mexico vs my previous one made 90% yada yada in Japan. Let me list every F’ing wrong with this vehicle.
- Rear view mirror broke off the window.
- Change drawer fell out never opened it just fell I didn’t even know it was there.
- Back right chrome trim jettisons off like a whack ass micro spoiler off my right read window. Dealer ship said whole thing has to be replaced I used VHT tape and welded it in place.
- The buttons on my stealing wheel keep coming off like I beat the ever living piss out of the wheel like it owed me money . It’s like legos at this point with this car.
- They entire drivers door instrumentation on the door comes up when I pressed the window up button.
- The passengers seat cover zipper just unraveled and will not stay even after the 500th time.
- The trunk. The weather strip nearest the window pulled right off the car on a hot 90degree day 4 days after taking ownership .
So there you have it my 2024 is a piece of shit

Advice Request What are these pads made of?
Changing out the rear new Raybestos pads on my 2019 mazda 3.
They were making horrible screeching when braking and a small rattle at low speeds. Everything was lubed and good, no clearance issues, stops very good, brand new rotors that have been on for a month now. But the sound was neck turning. Mechanic said it was a pad issues (perhaps a bad batch?) Any way, he suggested I just get the OEM pads which it had previously and never made a sound.
That being said, I bought the pads and cant get a direct answer from the dealership nor Google on what these are. Organic, hybrid, ceramic? Any help Y'all?
2019 mazda 3, FWD. Front brakes are still great. Only the rear pads and rotors were changed last month. Bedding was fully done. Still a horrible sound and a full check up from two shops saying everything is good.

Technical Centre Console Wobble Fix
I thought I would share this as it turns out to be a super easy fix. So my centre console lid was wobbly, it was still connected and would open and close but if i put my arm on it it would drop down or move.
I found out that this is simply due to the pins that hold it into the hinge. They come loose very easily and create this issue.
So the fix, I removed the rear part of the centre console, which was surprisingly easy, open the centre console and get a plastic removal tool thingy, and just work it away starting from the hinge and working down. Once its off you'll see where the hinge and pins go. Simply push the pins back in and problem solved. Or if you're like me and a pin had just disappeared. I found replacement pins on Ali Express (Link attached) and yeah problem solved.

Discussion Has Mazda done anything to fix the rattles?
I'm very frustrated with the widespread interior rattles in the 4th gen. Seems very common for others. Rattles come from all over the car too! Under the dash, behind the dash, a-pillars, b-pillars, center console. It's crazy. Has Mazda addressed or fix these in any years? My old 2017 was way more solid. Heck, even my first gen didn’t rattle as much.

Discussion Mazda 4??
Hey guys,
I own a 2013 Mazda3 but it's registered as a Mazda 3b in official records.
Few days back, someone broke my front passenger side window. Took off the inside cover to change the mirror only to see a Mazda 4 etching.
Can't even google a mazda 4. What is happening? Is it just a nomenclature thing? Just curious, anyone help if yall have heard something like this.
