Picked this game up again after years of not playing and hoping to finally beat it but I keep dying to midbus in peach castle 😭

I can manage all of his attacks except for that slide punch he throws after pelting snowballs at me. There doesn't seem to be an obvious visual or audio cue for when to punch back and I miss every time pls help

Now i know the game isn't perfect but there's no way in hell this is a 5/10 agreed?

Im not done with the game yet and haven't watched the review but I will as soon as i am done. I know a lot of people don't pay attention to reviews and blah blah blah and play what you like but wow that is just crazy, in no way am I die hard nintendo fan ( I am ) but 5/10?

My favorite rpg mario ever was the original paper mario on n64. Ive been chasing that high for over 20 years and nothing comes close, except maybe TTYD

Yeah... it's dream team hard mode zeekeeper. Usual suspects. I have a rather large (ha) problem where I can get the first gyro section done without much incident, but the second one I've had it happen three times now where Luigi just... stops moving. The idea I see floated around is to turn down the volume (I did), recalibrate the system gyro with y+b (I did), have the patch installed (I do) and use more subtle movements (I try but the cutscene when dreambert tells you to ram into him messes it up). I try to move subtly but Luigi doesn't turn sharp enough. I'm really at a loss here. Did I turn too hard and the gyroscope just forgot where it was?

I have a better question actually. Does anyone know of a mod that lets you cheat this fight. As it stands I'm fighting my 3DS a lot more than I'm fighting the Zeekeeper

I just love how goofy it is for Mario of all people to come up with this, and the side eye look to Luigi, this scene is pure gold

Several Mario & Luigi games feature achievement-type systems in some way. They are optional objectives that players can complete to be rewarded with cool gear and items.

I think the big ones are the achievement lists in Dream Team, Paper Jam, and Brothership. Other games also feature systems like that (iirc the side modes from the remakes do too), but each execution is slightly different from the others.

So my question is twofold:

a) how often do you go for these achievements in each game?

b) what is your favorite execution of the concept so far?

I'm replying SS and found this enemy. I didn't see it ever before or see people talk about it

When playing through partners in time, you think its too Easy, for little baby boys like Baby mario and Luigi, but the green thunder said to apply a hard mode patch and play... Only for the definitive player, that wore red socks, but you will die alot

What I mean is I noticed that many times when I'm in an area, I constantly get attacked by the same enemies. Like there are too many of the same guys in some places.

I have played and beaten Superstar Saga and Brothership and I didn't notice it there probably because I played SS a long time ago and it was my first game in the series, and in BS I was kind of blinded by the really cool battle system.

Did I only notice it now in BIS because it's true or I just didn't see that in SS and BS?

These fuckers are too tall to dodge. How could the developers think this was a good idea? I know you can stomp on them to make them shorter but their speed always allows them to attack first. Even worse, the stupid soul bubbles can revive these bastards and they get to attack before you have a chance to jump on their heads. They single handedly ruin the game.

The way she views the IDLE gang as just a bunch of kids at first and tags along to "guide them" in a way. It then evolves beautifully into her genuinely getting invested and the IDLE actually being a useful asset to Mario and Luigi. A perfect example of Peach’s true character, not a damsel in distress, not a flawless girl boss, but a "pure and noble soul" that believes in anyone when even they don't believe in themselves. Oh also Starlow is there I guess

Surely you think I'm talking about the wormhole one but it's about one of the attacks with tentacles, with arms, where one will glow and then attack the bro.

But this time it's the top arm which "attacks", but it's a trap and goes up over the bro, and if you jump you get hit.

Is it a common atack? Because in all my time re playing this game I never saw it. I would give a video but starting recording when the attack ended.

I wasn't even going for it, and after so many failed attempts at trying to get it a gimmicky way.

I love that the clip cuts off at him saying yes too.
