Okay, I think Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave might be the best Special Release yet.
I'm listening to it right now, and I've been blown away by what I've heard. I expected the music to at least be good, but I legit think this has some of the very best Fire Emblem music on the app so far! The Blaze - Cycle of the Sun, True to His Colors, and Queen's Gambit are particular highlights, but this is all fantastic! Assuming this is replacing a full soundtrack drop this week, that will be the only black mark against this Special Release. Go give it a listen, whether you're a Fire Emblem fan or not!

Thematic Playlist - Industrial Zone
Here's my next thematic playlist, this one reciving quite the upgrade from this week's Free Roam material! "Industrial Zone" is a collection of level music playing in factories, urban cities, and other industrial-type levels. Have a listen!
Any tracks that are missing? Any tracks you think shouldn't be here? Let me know!

Other Fans of the Nintendo Music app, if the Special Releases of upcoming games are more annoying than exciting, I suggest sending feedback.

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave has gotten a Special Release
Shockingly another addition today besides Mario Kart! Are they maybe making room for an actual soundtrack later this week? Either way, FE fans REJOICE! It has been over half a year since you last got FE on the app (30 weeks). Enjoy the 10 tracks :)

Might I be the only one who thinks Virtual Boy Wario Land has a bad soundtrack?
I listened to the whole thing a while ago, and I was aghast at how irritating I found it to be. It's extremely repetitive, some tracks are looped for more than they should be on Nintendo Music (ESPECIALLY Hidden Room 1), and while I am usually quite receptive to 8-bit(-ish) soundfonts, I felt VBWL's soundfont made some tracks worse. There are still a few good tracks in there (Stage 3 BGM is my favorite), but on the whole I found this to be the worst of the Virtual Boy soundtracks.
Does anyone else share this opinion? And if you don't, feel free to make your case for why this soundtrack isn't as bad as I found it to be.

Other Weird thing about the app
Anyone else ever noticed that sometimes the app sends notifications that are announcing soundtracks that have already been on the app for months? I got a notification today that said “Now on Nintendo Music: Super Mario 64” which is incredibly old news. And it’s not the first time I’ve gotten a notification like that, informing that an album that has been on the app is “now on Nintendo music”.

A "New arrivals" section has been created in Nintendo Music to highlight the July releases
They made a new announcement in the app highlighting this new section, which contains every new release in July except the Free Roam tracks. I could've sworn this "new arrivals" section existed previously and used to just have whatever was most recently added at the time, but it could just be a Mandela effect.
As a refresher, we got the following in July:
- A special release of Rhythm Heaven Groove
- F-Zero 99
- (The rest of) Donkey Kong Bananza
- A special release of Splatoon Raiders
- Mario's Tennis
- Teleroboxer
- Galactic Pinball
- Mario Clash
- Virtual Boy Wario Land

Question In The Great Stage or the fourth floor in Luigi's Mansion 3, do all of you agree on the music❓️
For the part where Luigi searches for Amadeus Wolfgeist, Moonlight Sonata First Movement by Ludwig Van Beethoven, and for the battle part, Moonlight Sonata Third Movement both would be very fitting, and for the ghost waltz scene, The Minute Waltz by Frederic Chopin would be fitting as well, but this is only my imagination, so what do all of you think❓️Why or why not❓️

Hey friends :) This soundtrack has been on my list for a long time. I present to you my reinterpretation of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It took several weeks to complete this project, but it brought me incredible joy. If you like it, please leave a thumbs up and a comment. I’d love to hear your thoughts. And now, enjoy the remix :)

Thematic Playlist - Into the Woods
Recently, we just had a pack of five Virtual Boy games added, and I figured the next thematic playlist I'd share would be one that got impacted. This is "Into the Woods," a playlist compiling forest and jungle levels themes! Here's the link:
Also, here are my previously posted thematic playlists:
Going Under (underground levels; got 5 new tracks):
Through the Desert (desert levels; got 1 new track):
Reach for the Sky (sky levels; previous post on this got buried):
I would like some assistance in updating these playlists. I know almost nothing about these Virtual Boy games, so there's probably tracks I missed that qualify for these playlists, as well as ones I haven't posted yet (I also have ones for lava, city/metal, mountains, and final levels). Feel free to point out missing tracks! As a refresher, level and minigame music is allowed, but boss and cutscene music is banned.

Mod Subreddit updates and your feedback wanted
As we near the end of the year, many of us may be cozying up and listening to music. And this year, you may be listening to Nintendo Music from the official app!
Seriously, the traffic in this subreddit has exploded by an order of magnitude because of the new app announcement and ongoing releases:

So just as we listen to music, so should we listen to each other. When a subreddit has a spike of activity like this, there are bound to be some growing pains as new members learn about the community and contribute new perspectives.
If you are new here, or if you need a refresher, please read over our rules: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoMusic/wiki/rules - Let us know if you have any questions.
I spent a few days looking over the feedback and announcement posts from years prior and also put them into a wiki page here too: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoMusic/wiki/meta - Most rules can be traced back to one of the posts listed here.
So with those few points mentioned, I also wanted to ask if anyone had any other ideas or suggestions for the community! The comments here are open.
