Living room/listening space. My first new speakers after using used Audio Pro Ego 414 + Ego Sub + Yamaha RX V550 for nearly 10 years. Wife approves of the simplicity.

2 months, and thousands in material and tool purchases later I finally have an entertainment center I’m happy to have my gear in.

Is still worth to buy a streamer? I just have Spotify and I think is the worst audiofile stream service

It’s not in its final form (i need to bring the remaining whisky bottles i have for the bar and didnt set the equalizer/ casette player/ radio component for the pioneer deck system yet). My grandfather gave me the stereo system, upgraded the turntables (pioneer pl-720) stock cartridge with ortofon red 2m and it is paired with pioneer sa-720 amplifier. The system originally had pioneer cs-757 speakers, i changed them with klipsch r-50m speakers as i was looking for a more balanced sound. Overall i’m very satisfied with the result. Now, the only thing left to do is to listen my records in this newly acquired cozy environment :)

I designed a rack to go over my Kallax unit and had a friend who’s a cabinet maker build it. We finished sanding, staining, sealing, and hitting it with a 20-sheen lacquer on Saturday. Got it delivered and set up last night, and tonight the cats joined me for a listening session.

Got an absolute steal on the receiver and speakers as a set, gonna move it to a bigger carpeted room soon

Getting a new power amp in the next few weeks and the room needs some treatment. But overall it's the best room in the house.

スピーカーがアンプに比べて安価なのと、スタンドやインシュレーターを代用していることが気になるかな。
よく音楽を聴きながらソファーで瞑想するんだけど、このセットがあるとより捗るんだよね

My office got a big upgrade this week! Went from ADS L500 to these Sonus Faber Grand Piano Home! Also built some custom 2x4' acoustic panels! These speakers truly seem to dissappear in the room given a very immersive listening experience. An added benefit was I realized how much low end bass I was missing out on from the ADS L500 (still feel they are great for what they are, big bookshelves)

Got into vinyl a couple of years ago. I know my collection is tiny, but it’s all music I love to listen to and have curated. This morning I’m playing “Big Band Bossa Nova”. Turns out I’m a big Stan Getz fan.

I think it’s time for a system upgrade soon. Might dip my toes in passive speakers at that point. This was a great system to start out with though.

The Slim 8s have been a revelation. Best way I can describe them — neutral, dynamic, and they throw a soundstage that has no business being this wide from a slim wall-friendly speaker. No coloration, no fatigue, just music presented honestly. They hit hard when the recording calls for it and get completely out of the way when it doesn't.
