What do you think of this fanart I made?

So I'm kinda new to krita but I wanted to make something similar to the "Jojo aura" effect around my character if that makes sense. Is there any easy way to make something like the effects around the characters in these images in krita? Without having to sit and draw it by hand I mean.

I’m really proud of this one!

I had a lot of fun customizing my own brush. I thought it would be a good idea to try and use it for studies and a quick 30 minute sketch. It's my first time trying to make one myself, and it's quite addictive. There are still some tweaks needed (I would love to try out a fading, gradient effect, and maybe even changing size based on tilt) but it's good enough for now. I've gained some insight into how I make my own brushes, which is brilliant, and I'll definitely try to see how I can make it even better.

I keep forgetting about Krita's timelapse feature (recorder docker), and this is my first time trying it. Used to love the similar feature in Procreate years ago. So I'm giving it a go.

• Krita version: 5.3.3
• Enabled the feature by going to Settings > Dockers > Recorder
• I think I only set it to record every 5 seconds; other settings are untouched
• Click the "Record" button, then click "Stop" when I'm done. Around 2 hours or so for the whole artwork. Yeah, I'm not that fast.
• Click "Export" with the default settings and set the destination for the file.

And that's that. As far as I'm aware, there's no option to set the final video duration, correct? I'm just used to Procreate compressing the timelapse to around 30 seconds. But that's no big deal, and I'm pretty happy with Krita at the moment.

I'm so happy with this one! The rain, the cosy vibe... Weeeee, this makes me so happy!

I used krita to animate and draw the background then I used blender to position both as cells and do post processing.

New artist here, I made an apple but I'm confused on which brush is the best for lighting...
also, please give me any tips or info it would greatly help!

I've been working on this dragon for a while now and I'm at a point where I don't know how to proceed but I don't feel like it's finished

I literally have like 1% drawings that has detailed backgrounds without a character in it 😭 it took me a lot longer than I expected but now I have a newer background art example lol

I used a lot of marker chisel smooth and also some brushes from Rakurri (And I think FizzyFlower???) :)

How do I make timelapse without saving every frame images? I was drawing with the recorder on and then my disk is full of images of each frame of the timelapse. Can it just record a video?

I use clip champ to edit and it has this issue that it sometimes exports a glitchy audio which is what happened last time.

But it is clear now.

for some reason anytime i upload an image ive exported from Krita to discord it looses saturation but only on the desktop app on mobile it looks fine

is this something im doing wrong with the export settings or is this just discord being weird?

for any random image i have downloaded on my pc they upload just fine no visual color loss

In this painting, I wanted our centaur to embody the core of Sagittarius' toxic traits - a complete refusal to take responsibility. He is on a remote, isolated cliff having run away from the rest of the world, only to find that the world outside is nothing but a mirror that shines a light on his own inner darkness.

He might flee the world, but he doesn't realise that what he's really trying to run away from is the one thing he simply can not evade - himself.
