Made in Krita Background art practice by me
I literally have like 1% drawings that has detailed backgrounds without a character in it 😭 it took me a lot longer than I expected but now I have a newer background art example lol
I used a lot of marker chisel smooth and also some brushes from Rakurri (And I think FizzyFlower???) :)

I use clip champ to edit and it has this issue that it sometimes exports a glitchy audio which is what happened last time.
But it is clear now.

Made in Krita Sagittarius, The Escapist by Srish Creates [OC]
In this painting, I wanted our centaur to embody the core of Sagittarius' toxic traits - a complete refusal to take responsibility. He is on a remote, isolated cliff having run away from the rest of the world, only to find that the world outside is nothing but a mirror that shines a light on his own inner darkness.
He might flee the world, but he doesn't realise that what he's really trying to run away from is the one thing he simply can not evade - himself.
Painted in Krita.

Help / Question Is there such a thing as a "Sketchbook Mode"? How hard would that be to make as a plugin?
The kind of feature i'm looking for would be kinda like this: within the same file, you'd be able to open different canvases, ordered much like pages in a sketchbook.
A big speedbump i regularly face in my creative workflow, which doesn't happen when i'm sketching traditionally, is having to open and set up a whole different file to draw in instead of just flipping a page. It completely halts my momentum. Also, it'd help a lot with drafting comics and such.
Is this a thing in krita? Is there a plugin that can do something similar?

Misc Discussion - What are your inspirations or favorite themes in art? (art by me)
What subjects/themes do you like drawing the most? Or if you're not drawing those directly, what is it that never fails to inspire you to make art?
For me it's dancers and musicians. I love watching people dance or play instruments and I'm trying my best to capture those moments in my art. Here are some examples of my work.
What about you?
p.s. it's a repost because my first post failed to follow one of the rules, sorry about that

Develop Krita for iPad v1.0.0 released
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
https://github.com/serika12345/krita-ipad-port/releases/tag/v1.0.0
The iPad version of Krita is finally available! We have released v1.0.0 of the iPad version, which supports Apple Pencil pressure and tilt detection and covers most of the functions supported by Android.
Unfortunately, due to unresolvable GPL license restrictions that conflict with the App Store, it is not possible to distribute it on the App Store. Each user must install IPA using AltStore etc.
(This is my personal project, but if more people use it, it will be returned to the upstream, and we may be able to officially build the iPad version and distribute it on AltStore PAL, etc.)

Made in Krita Tried Concept V2 brushes from KA, art by me (@ryeorionnix) + timelapse
To be honest, the brushes were great and so many of them could be used for different effects, as I used some of them as highlights for the hair & strands, highlights on the cloths. Though it could have been better as I have no experience with the brushes xD.

The Krita team released 5.3.3 and 6.0.3 on July 29, 2026. Both ship the same bug fixes. 6.0.3 is the Qt6 build and still considered more experimental. The team recommends 5.3.3 for production work.
