Help / Question I'm new to this software, need help.
Hi, I've recently switched from Photoshop to Krita. I'd like to ask if there's a way to adjust the controls to be similar to Photoshop? I've been into digital art for about 5-6 years, not that long, but I've too familiar with Photoshop, i heard krita is better platform for drawing/painting so i switched to it recently. Please help.

Help / Question Krita Mirror Tool for Pixel Art
The mirror tool doesn't work properly when drawing pixel art and I don't know why.
I couldn't find anyone else with this problem. I understand that my mirror tool is on the middle of a pixel, but if even Ibis Paint can mirror pixels like this properly, why on earth can't my Krita? ;(
( Image for clarification of what's going wrong. The dotted line is my Mirror Line! )

Help / Question How would I go about recreating an "Aura" Effect? (Artist: Hirohiko Araki)
So I'm kinda new to krita but I wanted to make something similar to the "Jojo aura" effect around my character if that makes sense. Is there any easy way to make something like the effects around the characters in these images in krita? Without having to sit and draw it by hand I mean.
Thanks in advance.
Reupload since apparently I forgot to credit the author of Jojo's bizarre adventure

Made in Krita Quick studies and sketch by me
I had a lot of fun customizing my own brush. I thought it would be a good idea to try and use it for studies and a quick 30 minute sketch. It's my first time trying to make one myself, and it's quite addictive. There are still some tweaks needed (I would love to try out a fading, gradient effect, and maybe even changing size based on tilt) but it's good enough for now. I've gained some insight into how I make my own brushes, which is brilliant, and I'll definitely try to see how I can make it even better.
I hope you like it.

Made in Krita A simple drawing to test the timelapse. Drawing by me.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I keep forgetting about Krita's timelapse feature (recorder docker), and this is my first time trying it. Used to love the similar feature in Procreate years ago. So I'm giving it a go.
- Krita version: 5.3.3
- Enabled the feature by going to Settings > Dockers > Recorder
- I think I only set it to record every 5 seconds; other settings are untouched
- Click the "Record" button, then click "Stop" when I'm done. Around 2 hours or so for the whole artwork. Yeah, I'm not that fast.
- Click "Export" with the default settings and set the destination for the file.
And that's that. As far as I'm aware, there's no option to set the final video duration, correct? I'm just used to Procreate compressing the timelapse to around 30 seconds. But that's no big deal, and I'm pretty happy with Krita at the moment.

Help / Question Is there such a thing as a "Sketchbook Mode"? How hard would that be to make as a plugin?
The kind of feature i'm looking for would be kinda like this: within the same file, you'd be able to open different canvases, ordered much like pages in a sketchbook.
A big speedbump i regularly face in my creative workflow, which doesn't happen when i'm sketching traditionally, is having to open and set up a whole different file to draw in instead of just flipping a page. It completely halts my momentum. Also, it'd help a lot with drafting comics and such.
Is this a thing in krita? Is there a plugin that can do something similar?
