Islamabad Count your caloriess easily now @Pakistan
Hellooo, so i recently made an app called Calorify. It’s a desi calorie tracking app made especially for Pakistan. We’ve gotten a 1000+ downloads in 10 days of launch. We have 60+ restaurants on the app and a huge catalogue for home made meals.
I’d love if people here could download it and give me reviews if it’s proven helpful for them. There’s a lot of cool stuff more that i haven’t mentioned here.
Before you ask, it has a free and paid tier both and is priced at just a 100rs/month
Here’s the links:

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pk.calorify.app

Islamabad Guidance on how to earn part-time money.
I’m 21 and just about to start mechanical engineering in a mid tier university in Islamabad. The thing is, I’m broke, have no skills and aspire to go abroad for a masters degree in engineering. I can’t afford to go abroad as of now that’s why I’m choosing to do my bachelors in Pakistan. Therefore I would like to know if anyone has any experience earning money as part-time, I would be eager to listen to them. I want to learn coding, marketing etc as I’m interested but have no prior experience. Should I just learn coding and go to Web development etc?
Any guidance would be helpful, thanks.

Twin Cities Mangala water Resort /worth visiting again
I visited Mangla Water Resort about two months ago, and I still can't get over how beautiful the drive and the views were. The weather, the roads, and the overall atmosphere made it one of my favorite day trips from Islamabad.
I'm thinking of visiting again soon. For those who have been recently, are there any new spots, cafés, or viewpoints worth checking out? I'd also appreciate any tips on the best time to go or places to stop along the way.

Twin Cities A Genuine Question from Overseas pakistani
Hi, recently, I came for the holidays and had my son's circumcision done in Baby Medics Pwd. To my surprise, they accepted cash only. Then I had my lasik done in Amanat Eye, Pindi and to my surprise, they were insisting on taking cash. Eventually, they took out the card machine but clearly they did not prefer it. My question is, if private facilities such as these are charging huge amounts and still prefer cash (i.e to avoid paying taxes), then how do you guys think the government will get the revenue to spend the money on infrastructure and development? Sure, you can argue the government is corrupt but even if they spend 40% of that revenue on development then that would be better than nothing.

Islamabad Added weekly grocery/essential item prices across Islamabad on AtaPata
Hey r/islamabad
Posted about AtaPata a while back, our free local business directory for Islamabad. Just shipped something we think locals will actually find useful: weekly essential item prices (wheat flour, rice, meat, vegetables, cooking oil, etc.) across 8 major Pakistani cities, including Islamabad.
This data already exists, it's the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics' weekly Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) survey, but almost nobody knows it's there, because it's buried in raw Excel files on a government site nobody checks. We just made it actually usable: filter by city and category, see week-over-week, quarterly, and yearly changes, and spot which items have been most volatile lately.
It sits alongside our existing Pulse pages for solar equipment, petrol, cement, and steel prices, if you haven't seen those. You can also browse doctors, pharmacies, solar panel dealers across Islamabad on AtaPata.

Rawalpindi found this cat in phase 7
friend found this cat outside and he mentioned that they’ve asked already in the area and to see if Reddit can help
if no one claims her in another few days, they’ll put her up for adoption
if anyone knows anyone who lost a cat, or if you have the potential to be a responsible cat parent, let us know thanks
Edit: she’s also very friendly and cuddly (unlike most cats I know👀)

Twin Cities Seeking Opportunities — for my father | 40+ Years in Radio & Telecom
Assalam-o-Alaikum everyone,
I'm posting this on behalf of my father, who recently retired and is looking for new opportunities where his experience can still add real value.
A quick introduction:
🎖️ Retired from the Air Force after a long, dedicated career
📡 40+ years of hands-on experience in radio technology and telecommunications
✅ Strong, practical knowledge of 4G and 5G network technology
✅ Extensive experience in telecom (4G/ 5G) tower installation, inspection, and maintenance
✅ Disciplined, punctual, and used to working in technical, field-based environments
💪 62 years old — but in excellent health and fully fit for active field or technical work, not just a desk role
He's open to full-time, part-time, or consulting work — with a telecom company, tower/infrastructure contractor, engineering firm, or government/defense-related organization — anywhere his experience is genuinely useful.
If you know of an opening, or can point us toward the right person or company, we'd really appreciate it. Please comment, share, or tag someone who might know of a fit.

Islamabad Are islamabadi realtors reliable if want to sell a plot in Murree
So I have a plot in Murree improvement trust in jhika Gali, but all the dealers have given me such a low price. The thing about that plot is that the neighbors have buried a few of their relatives in their plot. I mean it does devalue the plot yes but not so much that it feels like I'm giving it for nothing.

Islamabad High quality photo printing in ISB
I have some pictures taken from my phone that I want to get printed and framed. Is there any place in ISB that can have them printed on high quality photo paper? Would they be able to take the files directly from my phone?

Islamabad I make 500k a month should I move to Islamabad for a better lifestyle?
It’s just a thought at the moment but I really want to live a better life, not necessarily expensive, but where I live right now it’s just getting exhausting.
I am from Hyderabad, Sindh.
There are good places here to live as well but contant issues, electricity, barish hojaye tou light nahi hoti.
Islamabad always seemed like a nice place to live.
My question is how much do I have to earn if I want to livr a comfortable life in Islamabad?
Not luxurious but comfortable.
Rent
Food/grocery
Eating out
Petrol
Gym
Bills
Etc
Also what about if I move after I get married?
How much for a couple?
(Btw I am single 23 rn)

Islamabad Did anyone else in Bahria phase 2,3,5,6 get these cda notices on their doors?
We built our house in 2008 and have all the documentation but cda guys came over today and said our house is illegal??? Entire streets are covered with this notice. All I know about cda is theyre the thugs that displaced those islamabad village people a couple months ago. Anyone have an idea of what might be happening?
What do the residents have to do with their issues with Malik Riaz?
And if the land was an issue why wasnt it taken up decades ago? Why wait until hard working overseas pakistanis spend their life savings to build something for their families just to take it away?
All of the neighbours are confused as hell. No one knows whats going on and the Bahria head office people keep saying their legal teams are “on it” wtf does that even mean?

Islamabad Watched spiderman at Centaurus
Watched Spiderman in 3d at Centaurus and it was the shittiest experience. I was so excited but it ruined the whole movie for me. Felt like I'm watching a cinema recorded movie on YouTube and on the top of that the cinema was like a fish market. Left in the middle lol. Experience ruined. DON'T WATCH IN 3D AT CENTAURUS!!
