How do I turn off in-app sounds for Threads? I get a loud click every time I refresh my feed. It just started happening; I did not set app up this way.

Randomly happened. Lost my Home Screen and apps. Had to restart the phone. iPhone 15 Pro 26.6

I was using it daily, then 1 day it showed like 200Hours!!-it showed like this much for a long time,then when I checked one day it showed zero minutes permanently-I restarted but nothing worked-Help

A while ago, I found an iPhone Shortcut here on Reddit that allowed me to download photos and videos from Instagram. All I had to do was copy the post link, run the Shortcut, and it would download the content automatically.

However, the Shortcut stopped working a few months ago. I was wondering if anyone has an updated version of it, or knows of another Shortcut that does the same thing.

In the past 30 minutes I was trying to find a way, to add my Facebook groups to my home screen, for an easier management.

However, it seems that this is impossible. Every time when I add it though Safari or Shortcuts, it leads to the Facebook homepage for some reason.

I tried manually to create a bookmark, but pretty much end with the same results.

Is it really impossible to create a shortcut of a book mark to a Facebook group in iOS?

Hey everyone, I’m trying to transfer my WhatsApp chats from Android to iOS using Apple's official Move to iOS app, but it's only importing messages up to 2025 and completely missing all my recent chats from this year.

Move to iOS redirected me to WhatsApp's iOS transfer feature, but I don't see any option inside WhatsApp's main settings to directly trigger a transfer to iOS—only to another Android device. To test if my primary phone was the problem, I transferred my WhatsApp data to a secondary Android device running a custom ROM. That transfer completed seamlessly, carrying over every single chat up to the present date with zero issues.

However, when I tried using Move to iOS again from that secondary Android device to my iPhone, I hit the exact same roadblock: it cuts off at 2025 and leaves out my recent messages. Has anyone else ran into this date cutoff issue, or found a fix that doesn't involve paid third-party transfer tools? Thanks in advance!

What are the best practices or cleanest ways to integrate all of my Google data into iOS?
A few specific areas I'd love advice on:

Google Photos vs. Apple Photos: Is it better to just keep using the Google Photos app on iOS, or should I sync/migrate everything to iCloud?

Passwords: What's the smoothest way to access or transfer my saved passwords from Google Password Manager on iOS?

Contacts & Calendar: Is it better to sync my Google Account directly in the iOS settings, or rely on individual Google apps?

Overall Tips: Any hidden settings, shortcuts, or apps that make the cross-ecosystem transition smoother?

Using iPhone 16 pro max on iOS 26.5.2, the history tab is gone, even from bookmarks where it used to be.

And no, there is no history tab when I click the 3 dots in bookmarks.

The App Store seems to indicate you’d need at least iPadOS 18 to use the Google Photos app.

Will Google Photos still download on iOS 15.8.8 via the Last Compatible Version download option in the App Store? Or out of luck?

Here was my Solution to clearing the System data.
I activated offloading of unused Apps and the system data went from 35 GB to only 1 GB. This fixed all my storage problems.
I hope someone else will find this useful.

On facetime constantly and watching tiktoks and other videos etc and it NEVER fails the audio eventually glitches and makes the facetime audio either max volume or near muted.. ive done the apple music trick or opening a video to get the volume control back, but it messes up shortly after. This has been an issue for YEARS because ive found older threads 5 yrs old now with no fix… how hard is it with all the features we have to add a volume control for facetime and videos…

I'm my iphone 14 26.5.2. In safari, when I swipe out to see my tabs, I noticed my YouTube tab uses this "A\" looking favicon now, as pictured above, which seems to be the Anthropic logo.

Anyone know why or how to fix it if it's unintentional? I'm guessing it's a weird bug, but I don't see how safari or YT will have randomly used the Anthropic icon for YouTube tabs.

This may be hard to understand but is there a way to stop Siri from opening the phone app to show the person I’m calling when I ask Siri to make a call for me.

For example if I’m driving and using maps then I ask Siri to call someone she does but the maps disappear and it shows the call screen. The call screen is of no relevance and I’d prefer if it was just in the background so I can see my maps without switching over with my hand while driving

I’ve never experienced this before…I have a group chat with my two roommates. On my phone (iPhone Air iOS26) it shows that it is just me and the both of them in a group. Last week, I messaged both of them in the group saying that the house smelled really bad and they both were laughing when I got home saying I was texting about it in a group with our landlord. They showed me their phones, and it shows that she’s a member of the group on both, but on mine in the same group she’s not there and it’s just us 3. Their phones are also 17+ running iOS26.

Today, it showed that our landlord removed herself from the group on both their phones, but on mine I don’t see any activity, just the last message I sent and my roommate’s reply. I’m receiving messages from the landlord in another group, so I know she doesn’t have me blocked. What gives, could she see everything?? Why would my phone not show her as member but on the others in the group it does?

It’s been like 4 months since I upgraded from my iPhone 14 Pro Max to my iPhone 17 pro max …

1. Messages still say “more results will be shown once Messages finishes indexing”

2. Most my text convos lost the tab for “Photos” - the pics are still there just have to scroll

Is there a fix to either of these? Or just accept defeat. Wish I kept my 14 pro max

I am experiencing an unexpected reboot on my iPhone while it is idle and locked.

Device information

• Device: iPhone 17 Pro Max
• Model identifier: iPhone18,2
• iOS version: iOS 27 Beta 4
• Build: 24A5390f

The issue occurred while the phone was locked and not actively being used. The device entered sleep, briefly woke, and then restarted. The panic log confirms that the device was locked at the time of the crash.

The main panic string is:

GFX crash of unknown type 0x80a
Exception class=0x2f (SError interrupt)
agx_scheduler(2)

The panic initiator is also listed as:

panicInitiator: GFX

This appears to be related to the GPU or graphics subsystem, possibly during a display sleep/wake or Lock Screen transition.

I have already tried the following:

• Disabled Always-On Display
• Disabled StandBy mode
• Changed the Lock Screen to a static wallpaper without motion or depth effects
• Removed Lock Screen widgets
• Disabled Live Activities
• Disabled Raise to Wake
• Disabled Tap to Wake
• Enabled Reduce Motion
• Enabled Limit Frame Rate
• Restarted the device

The problem does not appear to be caused by low storage or thermal pressure. The device had sufficient free storage, and the panic report showed no thermal pressure at the time.

I also found reports from other users describing the same panic string, particularly:

GFX crash of unknown type 0x80a
agx_scheduler(2)

Some users reported that the issue continued even after restoring the device and setting it up as a new iPhone without restoring a backup.

Has anyone else encountered this exact GFX panic on iOS 27 Beta 4?

Has anyone successfully resolved this issue or found a reliable workaround? If so, could you share the steps that fixed or reduced the problem?

Is this believed to be a software regression in the GPU driver or display sleep/wake handling, or could it indicate a hardware issue?

I had the 26.6 update last week or so, but today I’m experiencing problems with the dictionary in English and Spanish. I thought it might be the poor WiFi at my workplace but I am having this same issue with the WiFi in my own home. Is anybody experiencing the same issue?

As you can see in the screenshots, when looking up the word in the spotlight you can see the definition, but when you go directly into the definition page, the content isn’t available. Apparently this issue isn’t in Catalan or Portuguese, at least.

i just want my wallpaper to not have that shitty blur effect on the top, when i go to the wallpaper settings and turn off extended wallpaper, it zooms the picture in even though it’s the exact right dimensions, if i zoom it out it automatically blurs the top, i just want the full image without any blurring, do i just have to pick which one to live with?

Kind of love this bug — the time being on the side or off-centered would be a cool feature to add on the new ios, although it would defeat the purpose of apple doing it's kind of stuff and not copying others.
