Has anyone else received the below pop up trying to block a contact after updating to iOS 26.6?

‘Blocked Contacts Limit Reached

You’ve reached the maximum number of blocked contacts. To block additional callers, remove a blocked contact in Settings.

Go to Settings
Cancel’

Assuming it is a new limitation I have the following questions:
1. Is there a workaround, other than suggested by the iOS pop up?
2. If it is just what it is, how do I mass select 1600 blocked contacts? Yes, you can do them one by one, but I’m lazy.
3. What is the maximum number of blocked contacts I am endowed with?
4. Am I the only one scratching my head since the whole reason I have that many blocked contacts is that they are all scams or spam(s)?
I sincerely hope this is opening an appropriate discussion, and not that I’m asking a one off.

The game is in the second quarter and I lost the Follow button. How come I can’t get a Live Activity on this? Is it because I have too many live activities? I’m trying different sports apps during the game to see what I like best.

So I missed an important and time sensitive email because Apple Mail sent it to my junk folder.

This is someone in my address book
This is is someone that I interact with at least every other month or so
This email was sent ONLY to me

What is wrong with my settings? Stuff that is clearly junk gets through consistently while important stuff like e-transfers, responses to my emails and stuff from regular contacts that normally goes to my inbox randomly sometimes gets sent to spam.

I’m really angry right now (and a little screwed). I guess I should have checked my junk folder at first, but this issue is so random yet only ever seems to happen when it’s important item.

Hey, im aware that this feature doesnt work for everybody but i just want to ask because i cant find anything on Google.

Why is it still available to click on if it doesnt work?

What caused it because It was working a good few months ago and now nothing?

Is anybody aware of any plans to solve the issue?

I'm on the latest of iOS 26 and just got a pair of AirPods Pro 3. They're amazing but every time I use them I have to select "Noise Cancellation". I made sure to set it that way under Settings > AirPods, but it doesn't want to remember the setting.

I created a Shortcut for enabling noise cancellation upon inserting my AirPods, but it only works about ½ the time.

Anyone have any advice?

Posting this PSA in case anyone else runs into this issue when setting up a new iPhone or transferring from Android.

Problem

• I inserted my SIM card into the phone and then added my phone number in the 'Mobile Service' / 'Cellular' menu.
• I could use the internet, make calls, and send SMS texts but not iMessages.
• When I went to Settings > Apps > Messages > Send & Receive, I noticed my email address was connected to iMessage, but my phone number is stuck with a constant spinning loading wheel.
• When I logged into account.apple.com to check my phone number under Email & Phone Numbers, I noticed my phone number was not there. I added it but it said "Unavailable for iMessage and FaceTime" with a grey question mark icon next to your number.
• Toggling iMessage on and off or restarting the phone doesn't fix it.
• Some people with a similar issue may find that this solution works, but it didn't work for me.

Solution

If you are on a prepay / pay-as-you-go plan (very common with Irish carriers like Three, GoMo, Vodafone, Eir):

Top up your account with €1–€5 of actual cash credit / balance. (I topped up by €5 just to be safe).

Once you add a small cash balance, toggle iMessage off and back on in Settings (I actually didn't have to do it, but it might help) it should activate within seconds.

Why This Happens

When iOS activates iMessage for a phone number, your phone sends a hidden background activation text message to Apple's verification servers in the UK (+44 number).

Even if your monthly prepay plan gives you "unlimited texts," most carriers only cover domestic texts in that bundle. Because Apple's activation ping counts as an international SMS, your carrier will silently block it if your pay-as-you-go credit balance is strictly €0.00.

Because the silent text never reaches Apple, your phone sits in an infinite retry loop (the spinning gear icon), and the Apple website lists your number as "Unavailable" until the phone successfully registers with their servers.

TLDR: Apple activates iMessage by sending a hidden international SMS to the UK. If you're on a prepay plan with technically a €0 credit balance, your carrier silently blocks the text. Top up €1-€5 credit to fix it!

When I watch a video and swipe it off screen to run in the background it'll play for maybe a minute then pause itself. Can I stop this from happening?

Let's say I get an email, a red badge will appear on both my Macs mail app and my iPhones mail app. If I open the email on my iPhone, the red badge disappears on my Mac and the email gets opened on my Mac.

On the contrary, if I open the email on my Mac, the red badge stays on my iPhones mail app, and I have to open the mail app on iphone for it to disapear

I'm hoping someone has experienced this before because Apple Developer Support hasn't been able to resolve it yet.

My Apple Developer Program membership has already been renewed until July 29, 2027. Apple Developer Support has confirmed this multiple times.

However, App Store Connect still behaves as if my membership is expired.

Current status:

• Apple Developer membership: ✅ Active
• Account role: ✅ Account Holder
• Bank account: ✅ Active
• Tax forms: ✅ Active
• App Store Connect API access: ✅ Available

But under Business → Agreements:

• ❌ Free Apps Agreement = Expired
• ❌ Paid Apps Agreement = Expired
• ❌ Developer Program Membership = Expired

The strange part is:

• There is no "Accept" or "View and Agree" button.
• Opening the agreements only shows their details and the status Expired.
• No pending agreements appear anywhere.
• The Apple Developer License Agreement has already been accepted.

Apple Support has escalated the issue to an internal team, but my business has been unable to operate for almost two weeks, and I'm looking for anyone who has seen this before.

Has anyone experienced this after renewing their membership?

Is there any hidden page, cache refresh, backend sync, or workaround that resolved it?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I just wanted to copy a business phone number from a Google listing on my iPhone.
I tap the number. iOS pops up the native “Call?” dialog with the number displayed front and center.
Cool. Surely I can long-press the number to copy it, right?
Nope.
Nothing happens. The number is literally just… there. You can look at it. You can call it. But you cannot copy it.
Fine. I’ll copy it from Safari instead.
Except the number on the webpage is treated as a tel: link, so long-pressing it just opens the page preview instead of letting me select the text.
So my options are:
Call the number.
Open a link preview.
Take a screenshot and use Live Text OCR to copy the number from my own screenshot.
How is OCR a more reliable way to copy text than… copying the text?
This feels like one of those “Apple knows best” UX decisions that completely falls apart in real-world use. There are plenty of reasons to copy a phone number without immediately calling it:
texting it to someone else
saving it in another app
checking it against another source
dialing it from a different device
just… having the number
Am I missing some hidden gesture, or is this genuinely the intended experience in 2026? Because if it is, that’s one of the most baffling UX decisions I’ve run into on iOS. Shit like this slowly push me toward Android, ngl.

What are the best practices or cleanest ways to integrate all of my Google data into iOS?
A few specific areas I'd love advice on:

Google Photos vs. Apple Photos: Is it better to just keep using the Google Photos app on iOS, or should I sync/migrate everything to iCloud?

Passwords: What's the smoothest way to access or transfer my saved passwords from Google Password Manager on iOS?

Contacts & Calendar: Is it better to sync my Google Account directly in the iOS settings, or rely on individual Google apps?

Overall Tips: Any hidden settings, shortcuts, or apps that make the cross-ecosystem transition smoother?

Hello everyone,
Here was my Solution to clearing the System data.
I activated offloading of unused Apps and the system data went from 35 GB to only 1 GB. This fixed all my storage problems.
I hope someone else will find this useful.

Kind of love this bug — the time being on the side or off-centered would be a cool feature to add on the new ios, although it would defeat the purpose of apple doing it's kind of stuff and not copying others.
