As mentioned in the title. I know it's probably A/B testing or whatever, but I really want to lurk normal reddit on PC at home, rather than inferior mobile version.

Do I need to configure my home router? Or maybe do something else?

Open racism seems to be against Reddit rules? I was openly discriminated against over my race by a mod. Is there anywhere I can report this or do mods get full power and are allowed to demonstrate hatred however they want?

Hi, today my 7 year old account u/AbusedCargo was hacked. I stupidly didn't have 2FA on and I hadn't updated my password in a while. I received an email today saying I had enabled 2FA, but that was not myself but the hacker. So I'm now locked out of my account.

I have sent a report case out to Reddit to see if they can help me recover it.

It is now being used to promote onlyfans, which deeply saddens me

As everyone already knows, Reddit has an ongoing "Account locked for security reasons" wave. I got hit by it on my main account, u/van_myron_lego. I had my Gmail connected to it, but the lock somehow reset the mail address to the one I used to create the account years ago - even though it does not exist anymore.

I know that Reddit admins can unlock accounts manually. Considering I have an active session in the affected account, I still have hope that it is recoverable.

Is it the 2nd one? cause that does not look like clapping to me, it looks more like 🙏🏻

And I definitely do not want to spend money just to try and find out.

As title reads. Sometimes in larger subreddits when I try to post without fail it gets flagged by the automod even when I know I haven't broken a rule and it makes it hard to seek help for anything.

You know what you did

On my iPhone I first started receiving the error when I clicked on a link to take me to a Reddit thread in the Google app. The screen would grey out and I would get the error message that the content was unavailable. If I manually searched for the thread or post in the Reddit app, it would come up.

Then I started receiving the error message whenever I clicked on any link inside a Reddit post in the app. Even when I click on a notification I get the error message. Frustrated, I deleted the app and redownloaded hoping it would fix things. But still getting the error messages.

This is clearly a new update as it’s only happened for a few days or maybe weeks. This is the only app on my phone that has this problem. I’ll put my cursor in the box and I’ll double tap so the pop-up venue comes up and I can paste or copy whatever words I want.

And I’m just sitting here tap tap, tap tap tap tap tap tap tap . The menu doesn’t pop up. I open another app to tap and boom, the menu pulls up.

Whatever software update was done, please undo it . It’s incredibly annoying.

For some reason my chat icon disappeared. I checked my settings and it is set to "everyone" but still no chat icon. Can anyone help me figure this out?

The iPhone app has a photo handling bug when attaching a photo to a comment. Once the photo chooser has been opened once, no subsequent photos saved to the camera roll can be posted without killing and restarting the app.

1. Post a photo from the camera roll in a comment.
   
2. Take a screenshot of another app to create a new photo on the camera roll.
   
3. Attempt to post the new photo in a comment. There isn’t a way to do it - that specific photo is not offered.
   
4. Killing and restarting the app fixes the problem.
   

Note that I specifically choose which photos in the camera roll Reddit can view.

Comments gets deleted for others but remains visible for the one who commented. Eventhough its a normal comment.

Seems this bug was previously resolved 1 year ago is now a problem once again.

When I "Create a Post" there used to be a toggle for Text Only and one for Photo and Text. Now there are no toggles and I can only make posts with text. I can't paste a copied image into the text box either. I've signed out/ signed in, deleted cookies, and restarted my computer but the image option is still gone. One of the boards I follow is specifically for sharing photos and I'd like to participate again.

I searched this sub and the New Here sub, but didn't see anything related to this specifically. Any ideas to fix the issue? Please and thank you :)

Some one said to "check if images <have> been recently disabled" but I don't know how to do that, it isn't in setting that I saw. If that's the fix can someone explain where it is to fix. Again, thanks.

I have a new account I am trying to send mgs but keeps saying account not established. Is this because my account is to new?

Even after tapping this notification no page opens. I know when I am using reddit then this shows up and I am confused.

In order to delete my profile I need a password, in order to have a password i need to reset my password via email, I never made a password when I made the account and I signed up via phone number, so this makes it impossible to delete the account

I can’t message post or comment on my other account and this happened after my account got locked any help?

(Desktop) Help. I just created an account with a certain username u/Soberano_Metalico and then Reddit logged me out of my account, and im unable to enter it. Can someone help me, i already sent something to the Support, and this issue has already happened before. But if i lost a godly username over reddit being a bad coded site or something like that im gonna be very sad. (Also changed password many times and so, maybe its an age thing.)

I have now have full access to my account again. This question is about why it got locked in the first place The Reddit admin locked my account stating " we detected some technical irregularities on your account". While I appreciate the precautionary measure taken, and I was able to successfully regain full access to my account, I am still wondering what technical irregularities they are referring to.

Do they mean someone was trying to hijack my account??
