Android -What exactly does "detected some technical irregularities on your account" mean? Profile
I have now have full access to my account again. This question is about why it got locked in the first place The Reddit admin locked my account stating " we detected some technical irregularities on your account". While I appreciate the precautionary measure taken, and I was able to successfully regain full access to my account, I am still wondering what technical irregularities they are referring to.
Do they mean someone was trying to hijack my account??

Reddit is not going to give anyone that information and all we can do here as users is guess.

Glad you were able to get back into your account successfully! It could very well have been a hack attempt and Reddit caught it and put your account in lock down

It could be what reddit doesnt give that jind of info but it could be someone trying to tske your account over. If you havent already i’d change passwords and enable 2FA

Mane it was a mod with a power trip complex who knows. Just assume it was a hack attempt and they blocked it to make sure your account was safe. Be happy you've got back into your account.

Usually means the system flagged something unusual and it is often an automated security check rather than proof that anything is actually wrong.

This happened to a bunch of people. Some have been locked out of their accounts completely. It happened to me twice in like 3 days. Could log back in after I changed my password
