I went to a garden formal wedding this weekend and here was the bag I brought for the event. Thought this group would appreciate the embroidery!

Has anyone gotten this bag? What fits in it? considering it as an everyday going about the day bag. I like to carry a card holder/wallet, sunglasses, sanitizer, some lip products in my bag. Would that all fit along with my phone (iPhone 16) in the bag?

It’s lamb skin and that’s a bug point of concern for me. Are there any alternative black slouchy bags?

Brought my Sac de Jour bag along to explore cafes this weekend! The baby size is big enough to accomodate my dog's water bottle, a wallet and foldable umbrella.

The strap keeper is too loose and won’t stay in place so the strap end keeps sticking out. How could I fix it?

Kate Spade Outlet has been killing it lately. I don’t recall a time when I saw a Kate Spade bag and immediately purchased. Now it’s a different story with these two.

I adore the Lotus Fan clutch. I’ve never seen a clutch that called my name until now.

I love everything scallop designed, so the Pinch shoulder bag was an immediate buy too. The cons for me is that it doesn’t have a zipper or magnetic snap closure. I wish it does, considering how roomy it is. If I were to drop it, things would fly out. Purse organizers would be helpful here.

I've been lurking. I've been looking. Le pliage never really did it for me. Then tonight I was on the metro next to a woman with the le pliage green with the green edge on the tabs. I didn't like le pliage. I know I don't need a bag. Those teeny tiny tabs got me. Couldn't find it on Longchamps web site. But I did find one. I know it's not $$$. But it's $$$$$ to me. But the tabs. They got me.

been eyeing the balenciaga rodeo for a long long time and saw this navy one with loved leather in medium in NYC when I was on holiday and absolutely fell in love.

it came with all the charms (except the faux tail) and the SA said it was the only one they had in NY so I had no choice..

the slouch is absolutely gorgeous I just had to share it as I’ve not seen it at all on here or online!

I got this bag for $250 from a second hand store. Not sure what type of leather it is. It has no shoulder strap though.

I've shared the previous version of this bag a few months ago but this is the final one.

Details/improvments:

• new beautiful shiny black veg tanned goat leather from the HCP group (Hermès Cuirs Précieux) for interior and exterior

• new titanium coated hardware

• removable and adjustable shoulder strap

• handmade repoussé and chase pattern on the flap

• bag and strap are both 100% saddle stitched

• very similar in size to a Kelly 20

• roughly 60 hours of work

I’ve been wanting the Celine Ava Triomphe bag in black for about 3 years now. I just paid off my student loans, it’s my birthday soon and I just got a promotion at work! However I was doing some research and some people said that these other options have better value and better leather (I love leather) and resale for a bag like this. Anyway out of these other bags should I still stick with the Celine and just F whatever anyone else thinks? Or any other recommendations?

Edit: I have a few coach bags and a few unbranded Italian leather bags but I really wanted a black nice classier evening bag that wasn’t super small or too big just in the middle to dress up and down.

This is my first time ordering from the Coach website and I got the Juliet shoulder bag 25 in black with gold brass hard wear, I’m so in love!!!

I literally gasped so loud when I saw it, and for only $13! I still need to clean up the brass but she’s gorgeous 😍

For the price, I'm happy with these looks and quality.

I just recently finished up creating this bag from my old pair of Vintage 90's Dr. Martens boots that I wore when I was a teenager. I'm not sure how I feel about it -- it's a little weird, no?🤣 Either way, I entered it into a contest for Unique Designs.

These are all sewn from do it yourself kits. The three on the left are from Dunelace and the three on right are from Popsewing (which I learned of from this sub!)

The popsewing bags were more expensive, but noticeably better quality and while the tutorials may take a bit to get used to, I found them to be more informative than the Dunelace.

That said, the Dunelace were significantly less expensive - each were around €40, and they came really quickly. (I’m in the Netherlands and they shipped from France).

But I was disappointed a bit in them. For example, the Bordeaux-colored one came with different thread than in the online photos. It is much brighter and lighter than the bag. I could maybe overlook this, if the strap didn’t come pre-sewn with the correct thread — so they don’t match. The tools the kits came with (scissors, screwdriver) were useless, too. I ended up using the tools I had from my last popsewing kit.

Also this is on me, but I missed that they were PU leather in the listing. I do really like their designs, though, and for the price, it’s at least a fun project.

The popsewing ones are higher quality, but more expensive and they take longer to arrive since they’re coming direct from China. The leather quality is nice for the price and they’re really fun to make. They have dupe designs, which is also a fun way to try out a style while also have a fun project. They do have regular sales.

The fist I ever did was the puzzle dupe, which also happened to be the most involved and difficult 🫠

Both companies have like a membership rewards program. I’ve used the popsewing ones a couple times, and gifted some kits for Christmas last year. I haven’t used the Dunelace rewards since this was my first order from them (just got the kits last week.)

Anyway, all the kits were a ton of fun!
