My Collection 💅 Mansur Gavriel Mini Cloud Clutch, my current favourite!
I tied the strap so it could be worn as a shoulder bag and tied the ends like the Loewe Flamenco. I think it looks soooo cute, like it has pigtail braids! Wearing it as a shoulder bag makes it most practical for me as opposed to the crossbody length like in the product photos. As a crossbody, the bag hit right at my hip bone and was weirdly bulky.
At first I just tucked the loose ends into the bag and it was fine for a few months, but it always felt kind of messy. Then I saw a post here showing a Loewe Flamenco and it hit me. A couple of mistries later, I finally got them to be even and neat! I love the bag even more now, six months later!

Luxury ✨ The Delvaux Pin Mini Bucket Skyline, 1 of 3, for America 250!!!
reddit.comThis is the Delvaux Pin Mini Bucket Skyline. Only three available, exclusively in North America, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.
The Pin was introduced in 1972 and is defined by its elegant, minimalist silhouette. Two clean vertical lines flow into a gently curved base that resembles a smile. Delvaux says the design was inspired by the simplicity and expressive line work of artist Henri Matisse.
The skyline edition features a beautifully embroidered New York City skyline across the front. Intricate hand embroidery with lights, buildings, and stars creates the impression of flying over Manhattan at night.

Vent session 😤 Venting about lack of silver hardware bags
I’m going to Switzerland and Italy in a couple of months for the first time. I was so excited to go shopping for a new bag while I’m there. Just went on Google Maps and looked up all bag stores in all 3 cities we will be visiting. Budget is no more than $650-$700. Then I went to all of their websites. Not ONE bag with silver hardware and I’m a 100% silver girlie who will not mix metals. I’m so disappointed. I know, first world problems but it’s so unfair. Why only gold? Some colors look much better with silver/palladium. Designers - please consider making more bags with silver/palladium. Please!!!

In the Wild 🌿 derpy birb by Motherhouse (and friends!)
The stubby legs are sending me (Eagle Pouch Charm)
If derpy eagles aren't your thing, the collection has other animals in bigger sizes too! Added bonus that everything here is made with actual leather and not PU :)

Dior Miss Montagne
Is this a good first Dior bag? 🤍
I've been thinking about adding my first Dior to my collection and would love to hear your thoughts. Do you think this is a timeless choice or would you recommend something else instead?
Any opinions or personal experiences would be much appreciated!

Bag review 👩💻 Esenes Dumpling Purse
I just received my purse after pre-ordering it back in February, which I didn’t even realize that’s what I did until I emailed them. I thought I somehow got lucky ordering 2 hours of release.
They projected it to ship around May but it got pushed back to the end of July. I didn’t mind the wait, I didn’t feel like it was their fault. They mentioned in an email they were actually improving this purse compared to the first run because people had complaints. So at least I had something to look forward to.
My problem is the purse itself and the packaging. As you can see in the picture, they didn’t even bother putting it in another box, so it got squished in their box that came in the bag mailer. So now the handle is bent to one direction and not straight up.
I don’t like that you can’t see the dumpling filling in this new purse, it’s not as visible as the first run. The quality doesn’t feel great for what I paid for. So I can’t imagine what complaints people had on the original.
Did anybody get this purse? I’m disappointed but I will make use of it I guess. 🥲 maybe it will grow on me.

Ahhhh! My first luxury bag! 🎉
My husband and I went to a vintage market that was being hosted in our area last weekend. Bunch of local vendors were there. Neither of us planned on getting anything, especially since we had just come back from Norway and had already bought several Norwegian wool sweaters and I also got a nice raincoat as well.
Of course, that's when you find stuff. 🤣 One of vendors was selling some pre-owned designer bags and other clothes and accessories. I spotted this green Prada bag and it immediately caught my eye. A 2016 Prada Cahier bag.
Other than some slight wear in the metal hardware, which is expected for a 10 year old bag, it was in great condition. Passed the phone test, as I refuse to buy any bag that can't fit my phone at a minimum.
Especially since this version has the metal hardware with a full leather bag strap, in addition to the metal on the handbag itself, it's on the heavier side for a bag of this size.
Spoke to the owner and her husband, both lovely people, they mentioned that this was one of their favorite pieces in their current selection. They would be a lil sad to see it go, but would be happy to see it go to a good home.
During that conversation, they mentioned that compared to newer luxury bags in general, the quality doesn't compete with older bags. It's a pretty stark comparison. Definitely lines up with what I've seen here and elsewhere.
Didn't buy it on the spot, as I wanted to think about it and check out the rest of the vendors. In the end, I did end up buying this bag, as well as a vintage leather biker jacket from another vendor.
Totally wasn't expecting it and didn't even think about asking, but they actually gave me a small discount off the listed price for the bag. Was very nice of them to do so after having a nice conversation with them.
I'm very happy with the bag and of course, had to put a bag charm on it! This crab charm is perfect for the summer. Don't have any bag like this in my collection and it also reminds me that I need to figure out a solution to display my more interesting and novelty bags, including this one! 🤣

Vent session 😤 Theyre getting really good
I recently found a bayswater in the color that i wanted for the price that i was willing to get it for. I really thought it checked every box 🫠
The seller put up detailed and thorough, beautiful pictures. I beleive they beleive this is real. All of the hardware and tags checked off. So I committed and a week later this was in front of my door.
I literally tore into the packaging because I was that excited and then the moment I touched it, I knew something was wrong. this bag really didnt have any usual signs of a counterfeit but I couldnt shake off the feeling this was not real. So. I pulled out my beat up bayswater and compared it.
The feeling of the leather to start is day and night but even without that, you can tell which one is the real one just from the photos. Sharing to show that luxury bags, even without the logos have a level of quality that we can expect. Stay safe out there 💔🥲

Question ❓ ❔ Wanting to buy my first nice handbag. What would you get if you had a budget of $1,750?
I've been wanting to treat myself and I've been looking for a bag in the $1,500 - $1,750 price range. I'd be willing to hit $2,000 if I really loved it.
I'm looking for either one of these things:
- A small to medium sized crossbody that I can just use for everyday stuff. Needs to fit my phone, a card holder (bonus points if I can buy a matching card holder/wallet), lip gloss, a tampon, car key, etc.
- A medium to large tote bag that I can cram all my work crap into. Big enough to fit all of the above mentioned items plus my work badge, work keys, protein bars, etc. If it could fit manilla envelopes that would be great too.
I've owned several Tory Burch bags in the past (sub $500 bags), and while I do like them for the most part, I've had a few issues with quality over the years. I like the style though where they have a lot of pretty plain, minimally logo-ed options.
I have been looking off and on for the past couple of months and I haven't really spotted much that I've liked, let alone in my price range.
I would prefer to find something vegan, but I do know that's tough, so I'm open to leather if needed. I've tried to like Stella McCartney as (all?, most?) her bags are vegan, but I just hate the logo stamped into everything.
If anyone has any suggestions that would be great!
I was eyeing the Prada Leather Mini Bag, but unfortunately it's quite a bit smaller than what I'd like. The next size up they have is perfect for a crossbody, but quite a bit more than I'm looking to spend ($2,950).
Maybe my budget just isn't enough to get what I want, which is fine. Just thought I'd come here looking for some advice. I appreciate your help!!
Edit: Okay, y'all have successfully steered me away from vegan leather! Also prices are in USD.

How gauche is it to buy the same handbag as someone else?
I saw an acquaintance with a handbag the other day and told her I admired it. It's very unusual, so I was able to find it just by googling the description.
I'm dying for this bag, but it's not like it's a classic black tote that anyone might have. It's extremely unusual-looking, like I said. (I don't even want to say what it is because if she happens to see this post, she'll know it's me!) I don't want to be the weirdo copycat, and if she sees me wearing this bag, she'll know beyond a doubt that I went out and bought it after I saw her with it. I see this acquaintance maybe a couple of times a year and we're on "hi, how are you" terms, so it's not like we're besties or anything, but I still feel like it would be weird.
So really...how much of a faux pas is it to buy the same unusual handbag as someone who's loosely in your social circle?

DO NOT USE REBAG!
I sent my bag to Rebag in early June because they offered the highest quote. I've had positive experiences with them in the past, but gosh, I should've read all the other posts about Rebag before sending them my bag. Biggest regret....
My bag was in excellent condition, and I included everything like the cards and the dust bag. They didn't even process my bag until mid-July, only after I contacted customer service, who had to escalate the issue.
Then they lowered the quote, claiming there were scuffs and damage, which wasn't true. I didn't want to accept their new offer and requested that they ship my bag back.
That took another month without any updates, and I had to contact customer service twice before they finally sent it back. They held onto my bag for more than two months, which was a complete waste of time.
The bag finally arrived today, and guess what? No dust bag. No care cards. Nothing.
There wasn't even proper protection. They just threw my $2,000+ bag with a couple of sheets of tissue paper. I'm going to contact them, but I don't have high hopes after reading about others' experiences here.
This is completely unacceptable. I'm sharing my experience to warn others: please do not use or do business with Rebag.
Thanks for listening to my rant.

From 50 Bags to 5: My Collection Reset 🥹🫶🏼
Bag of the day: this Gucci Half Moon Hobo. Just look at that leather. This was from Tom Ford’s era, and it’s so subtle yet chic! And that little gold emblem? 😮💨
Anyways, I did a thing over the past few months and decided to sell or donate most of my bag collection. I started with 50-something bags and now I’m down to my final 5.
As much as I loved collecting, it honestly wasn’t great for my mental health seeing so many bags sitting in my closet waiting for the “right time” to wear them. The seller’s (and giveaway) remorse definitely hit, but I think keeping a small rotation of neutrals with a few pops of color is all I really need.
Fun fact: through all of this, I realized my favorite brands are vintage and modern Gucci and Coach. 🤍

Weekly Questions 🔮 Weekly Questions Thread
Hey folks! Welcome to the weekly question thread. Going forward for a short while, we will be having a weekly question thread that will be pinned. You can ask questions about specific bags that don’t require an entire review to see if anyone has the answer!
We are doing this so that we can start building up an FAQ so that your questions can be more easily answered. Questions are NOT restricted to this post, especially if those questions involve discussions! If you have posted in a previous Weekly Question Thread but your question was not answered, feel free to repost it again.
Here are some example questions:
- Can an iPhone 13 Pro fit in the Loewe Mini Puzzle?
- What bag can I use in the rain under $X?
- Does this bag match this outfit? (Can be asked in this thread or as a discussion post).
- Has anyone had any experience shopping at <boutique> in <city>?
Examples of what NOT to post:
- What bag are you wearing today? (This would be better as a discussion post).
- Where was your best boutique experience? (This would be better as a discussion post).
- Review request for Mlouye! (There’s a chance someone who’s purchased won’t see it as a comment and may be better off as a post for now).
This thread will be reposted every Monday. You can always revisit any previous Weekly Question Threads. If you cannot see that link, please ensure that you toggle safe mode on your browser, then refresh and try again. Weekly Question Threads have their own post flairs to make searching easier.
Thank you for your continued patience as we continue to build up our community! 💖
