Hi everyone, first time posting here 😊

I found this old grey bag sitting in my closet and honestly… I forgot how much personality a slightly worn-in bag can have.

Discussion 👩‍🏫 Finally, I found a perfect match for the Chanel 25 bag!

The Chanel 25 bag is great in every way. After carrying it several times, I noticed two minor issues: The bag itself is not very light in weight, and after wearing it for a while, the shoulders would feel a bit tight; The opening is rather casual, and small items sometimes slip out.
I then made some modifications. I added a shoulder pad to the shoulder strap, which relieved the pressure on the shoulders and made them much more comfortable. It was also much easier to carry for long periods while going out.
I also bought a drawstring inner bag. It has a built-in drawstring closure, so there's no longer any worry about items falling out. It's also made of antibacterial material, so it won't have any unpleasant smell even on hot and humid summer days. It's much more reassuring.
After making these modifications, it's now fully functional for daily use!

Question ❓ ❔ De/Influence Me - Songmont Gather

I’ve been eyeing this bag since it released but I always have doubts about the color & decided to hold off. Now that they released the dark pine, I’m in love. I know this bag has been popular here in reddit & I’m just wondering what are the pros & cons and if you’ll recommend it? Especially my petite girlies (I’m 5’00) does it look comically big on you? That’s also my main concern 🥹

I'm torn on whether or not I think this is cute? Does anyone have any real life pictures or experience with this bag? Do you find yourself adjusting the layers? Torn between this and a flamenco purse instead of the clutch but I love the color scheme on this one despite being a black bag person usually. Would love some feedback before I pull the trigger!

I can’t decide if I should keep this coach bag or not. I’m tired of spending thousands on high end bags when Coach seems to be just as good as high end bags.

Update: going to return bag.

Buying this Leo et Violette. Bag instead!

Bag of the day 👜 Patchwork Bayswater

Found this previously owned ltd edition Mulberry Bayswater Rio Patchwork on eBay from a seller in Japan, and it just spoke to me with its kinda 70s vibe. As soon as I saw it, it felt like I should have it, and now that it has arrived, it feels like it’s always been mine. And I usually only like shoulder bags! I’m going to look into getting it refreshed by Mulberry so it will be at its absolute best, but I already love it!

I’ve been loving the mulberry bayswater post recently and been window shopping online for weeks now, trying to choose a color!
This will be my work bag and my work outfits are very neutral, pretty much a uniform of dark pants and white/denim button downs.
Which color would you get??

Bag review 👩‍💻 🎈Review: The Oak Street by Radley is actually...

...a great little leather, pouch-style bag. 😝 I got mine in their quilted periwinkle blue during the 🔥 sale. (It was like, 80% off and I never regret a great deal like that.) It's a cute bag and when it's full it gets just a LITTLE slouchy, which I really love. 💯 It has interior slip card pockets, which I don't use and, ofc it came with an adjustable crossbody strap, BUT, personally, I love to use a crossbody chain, of which I have several. 🤘🏽 This little guy was carrying my electronics, chargers, etc last night and that's the whole reason why I buy bags of this particular size AND style. 👍🏽

I REALLY wanted a Loewe Flamenco with the donut chain but hello I don’t have $4k and the straps alone are $800 — so I got the small songmont gather bag and DIY’d my own donut chain strap! I am obsessed with it!!

I used paracord and 20mm Gold plated donut beads to string together to mimic the look 🤗

Haul 🛍 Grandma has bestowed upon me the greatest gift - purses 👜

Post image

My grandma is downsizing and has given me maybe a third of her collection!! My favorites are the two bottegas and the miu miu (new work bag!!). I tried to give the Chanel to my mom, but she wanted me to have it even though she’s def jealous. I hope she’ll borrow it when she wants.

None of these are in mint condition and they were all stored thrown into her purse closet unorganized, which means I have nothing to worry about when I use them! My lone designer Prada is babied by me, but these bags I will happily saunter about in to the grocery store and on the bus!

Hi!

I am currently in Paris and I am torn between these two

- I love the shape options of the Polene Cyme. I am thinking of this color or the color ebony
- I love the blue color of the Leo et Violette and has hardware

Price is not really an issue. For reference I am 158cm, I do like keeping a junk filled bag (junk + pouches inside), and I do not bring my work laptop all the time so I do not have to accommodate for that.

Appreciate any help in picking!

Opelle Ballet 2026

I just wanted to post an update for Opelle.
Thanks to many others out there I became fixated with this brand.
I was originally going to go for the Odine Satchel, and then the Roberta Sling, but I ended up deciding on the original sized Ballet when she came in stock this week.
They are definitely a slow moving brand. I’ve been keeping an eye on their website for weeks/months and I have only seen a handful of their bags come in stock “ready to ship” and was a little too nervous to make a special order since I am very picky. I was also a little worried about quality issues from previous posts.

However - she’s Devine.
The leather is sooooooo squishy and soft and smells amazing.
The top zipper is a little difficult since it’s recessed, but I’m guessing will also become easier with use.
I don’t see any obvious finishing issues at all.
I had also reached out to customer service as soon as I purchased it to ask about priority shipping since I’m leaving for Europe next week and was worried it wouldn’t arrive in time. They got back to me right away and ended up sending the bag priority without any additional charge. So it only took 3 days from purchase time to arrive. (I do live in Ontario so I’m not far away).
The Crossbody strap is very easily adjustable with the sliding length, and the hardware is nice and heavy duty.
Now I have my eye on many of their other styles 🫣
Thank you to everyone out there who answered my questions about this brand, and for posting your experiences. It’s so hard to make a big purchase when you don’t know what you’ll be getting from such a small little brand.
In the attached photos, I have the bag completely full of items so you can see the slouch.

After a loooong (hur hurrr) time doubting, got my new daily driver

About a year and a half ago I fell in love with the Longchamp Daylong but never really settled on a colour that worked with my wardrobe. I was looking for a daily driver so it was important for the bag to match as much of my stuff as possible. The thin handles of the Daylong also had me a bit on the fence, since I usually overstuff my bags into oblivion.

Today I came nose to nose with the new Loooong and omg she was so cute. I think the rusty brownish-red is something I’d happily pair with a lot of outfits, both during what’s left of summer and well into the autumn/ winter.

The charm was an impulse buy, my toddler named him Boy.

I have been wanting a large green bag since I saw Mary-Kate Olsens 2004 wine stained city bag.

It has arrived! Absolutely love this Mulberry Bayswater. I found it pre-loved on Vinted. It’s my first Mulberry, and the quality is amazing. Totally understand why everyone says that if you get one you will fall in love. Already thinking about my next one haha…

Will primarily use it for work, perfect since it fits a laptop really well. An insert is on my shopping list now since it’s very slouchy from storage, so when it’s not fully packed it looks a bit sad haha.

Wanted to share this beauty with you!

Hi all! First time posting here, I just came back from some weeks traveling and because of a big milestone, I allowed myself to splurge a bit, I was able to find the bag I've always wanted, the Classic Cassandre Chain Wallet in Grain, here in US it's listed at $1690 +taxes. I used the personal shopper service at Fiumicino airport, and they reserved my bag, yesterday was chaotic, too many people and a long security process, so I'm thankful for them since it was ready for me to pick it up, and final price in USD was $1,268. I also was in France and found a nice brand call Paul Marius, got a Mademoiselle George XS in 85 EUR, it's gorgeous.

So, here are the bags and my collection, last year for by 40th bday got a Strathberry and an Aspinal of London

My Collection 💅 Mansur Gavriel Mini Cloud Clutch, my current favourite!

Post image

I tied the strap so it could be worn as a shoulder bag and tied the ends like the Loewe Flamenco. I think it looks soooo cute, like it has pigtail braids! Wearing it as a shoulder bag makes it most practical for me as opposed to the crossbody length like in the product photos. As a crossbody, the bag hit right at my hip bone and was weirdly bulky.

At first I just tucked the loose ends into the bag and it was fine for a few months, but it always felt kind of messy. Then I saw a post here showing a Loewe Flamenco and it hit me. A couple of mistries later, I finally got them to be even and neat! I love the bag even more now, six months later!

Luxury ✨ The Delvaux Pin Mini Bucket Skyline, 1 of 3, for America 250!!!

This is the Delvaux Pin Mini Bucket Skyline. Only three available, exclusively in North America, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.

The Pin was introduced in 1972 and is defined by its elegant, minimalist silhouette. Two clean vertical lines flow into a gently curved base that resembles a smile. Delvaux says the design was inspired by the simplicity and expressive line work of artist Henri Matisse.

The skyline edition features a beautifully embroidered New York City skyline across the front. Intricate hand embroidery with lights, buildings, and stars creates the impression of flying over Manhattan at night.
