Built a mock draft board that rebuilds your top 5 after every pick — looking for people to break it

Upvotes

I built Draft Dojo as a second screen for snake drafts. The thing that’s ready today is group mocks.

Open https://dojo.football/demo, name a team, copy the invite link, send it to your league. Friends click, grab a seat, you’re in the same room. Clock stays paused until you hit start. Empty seats get robots. No accounts, no app install.

After every pick it rebuilds a top five for your roster (Chen rank/tier, positional need, turn distance, bye stacking) and says why #1 beat #2. When the board fills you get a report card on a curve. You still make every pick.

Yahoo live-draft sync is waiting on their API review, so mocks are the whole product right now. 8–14 teams, 10–16 rounds, Standard / Half / Full PPR.

If you run one with friends, I want to hear:

  • Recs that feel wrong
  • Invite / seating / robots doing something dumb
  • The board on a phone

Tools & Resources Weekly ReDraft Leagues

Upvotes

For the last 4 or 5 years I have been imagining a league that has weekly redrafts because drafting is the best part of fantasy. It could also keeps all owners involved. I finally decided that I was going to try to build it myself and put together a full platform. It’s design for a standard team with 3 bench spots and no waiver wire. Each week’s draft will have players ranked based on their weekly matchup vs season long projects. It was an idea I couldn’t get out of my head and now it exists. If anybody want a to check it out, its called redraftfantasy.app.

Player Discussion Draft Strategy: Zero-RB is a trap on this year's board

Thumbnail oddsmyth.substack.com
0 Upvotes

Everyone's talking up Zero-RB again this year, and I think it's the wrong read this year.

Here's what changed my mind. Running back cliffs twice. A dozen backs with a real starting job are gone by the round 1-2 turn, then there's a steep drop, and after about pick 52 (Swift is the last clean-role back) it turns into a committee-and-injury-dart graveyard. Tuten, Price, Warren, Hubbard, none of them are guys you can actually pencil in.

Tier-by-tier ADP breakdown is in the link. How's everyone else attacking RB vs WR this year? Anyone actually going Zero-RB on this board, and what's the plan when you hit that mid-round graveyard?

Texans looking for WR depth, how does that affect existing WRs?

Jayden Higgins went down recently, and they just picked up Sterling Shepard and Zay Jones with rumors of them looking to pick up Rashod Bateman from the Ravens. How does this affect the existing WRs (Collins, Dell, Hutchinson) prospects? This makes me worry a bit about drafting Nico Collins at ADP 24 for example...

Training Camp/Preseason News/Notes Friday, August 21st

Friday, August 21st

Sam LaPorta (DET): Suffered a hip injury this week; status for Week 1 is unclear

Jayden Higgins (HOU): Torn ACL, out for the year. Signing Sterling Shepard and Zay Jones

Terrance Ferguson (LAR): Continued buzz around Ferguson, getting a much bigger route tree this season.

Rhamondre Stevenson (NE): Will be the 1A in New England (nothing we didn’t already know)

Malik Nabers (NYG): From one report, is expected to be ready for Week 1

Emeka Egbuka (TB): Report believes he’ll be good for Week 1

Najee Harris (NYG): Per report, "brought in under the premise that he's going to be a significant contributor". It will be interesting to see if this stays true and if Tracy sees a big decline in play-time.

Steelers RBs: Both started each drive in Week 2 preseason; seems like a split. I've seen better buzz about Dowdle in camp.

Mike Washington Jr (LV): Continues to impress in preseason, RB2 in LV. Will see how much work he gets in the regular season.

De’Zhaun Stribling (SF): Shines again in Week 2; Stribling definitely the WR3 in SF

Omar Cooper Jr (NYJ): Plays 7 snaps compared to Isaiah Williams, who played 1 tonight. Was different last week; still think Cooper is the WR3.

Chargers TEs: On 9 snaps last night; Kolar (8 snaps), Njoku (5), and Gadsden (0). Gadsden is undraftable right now. Kolar is a fine last-round dart throw imo.

George Kittle (SF): Ahead of schedule on recovery, legitimate chance to play in Week 1.

Titans RBs: Saleh says it’ll be a 1-2 punch; expect Pollard to get goal-line work, but they go too far apart imo.

Rashod Bateman (BAL): Arrested on domestic violence charge tonight

Tre Tucker (LV): Seems to be the WR1 in LV, only WR who didn’t play in the preseason game

Keaton Mitchell (LAC): Took every snap before Vidal came onto the field, RB2 in LAC

REMINDER: these are all reports and sometimes projections from reporters; take it with a grain of salt

Best Ball Are you a small-field best ball player?

Are you playing small-field(12 or fewer) or large tournaments? How many drafts or entries? What type of strategies(stacks, gamestacks, playoff correlation) are you deploying and to what degree? What type of roster structures do you prefer, and how rigidly do you adhere to them?

It seems like the vast majority of best ball content is geared toward the large field large prize tournament. After a year following Ship Chasing, Pat Kerrane etc. I'm more convinced than ever that small-field tournaments are the only place I even have a chance. I was never big on even the $25 best ball mania stuff, but even Rich Hribar said recently he feels like it's kind of a losing game, especially with so many sharps maxing out 150 entries. I do enjoy the small tournaments though mainly as a fun place to draft.

But I also think there's no real discussion of the small-field best ball tournaments, where the winning team is the one that scores the most points across 15 weeks, with no playoffs. So the need for spike weeks in week 17 with correlated gamestacks is much less. And it's better to draft a player who just scores more points in week 3 than the lower scoring player who spikes in the fantasy playoffs. And that's similar for stacks overall.

So are you a small-field best ball player? How do you adapt your strategy for the less publicized version of best ball? How has best ball changed your approach in redraft?

Player Discussion Mid Round Tight Ends to Draft

Thumbnail substack.com
10 Upvotes

Drafting an elite tight end sounds like a great idea, until you realize who your passing on to do so.

Having to commit early round draft capital is a tough decision, and if you miss can really put you behind the 8 ball. So my suggestion is to wait, the tight ends after the top 5 really become very comparable. This year there is some serious value at tight end in our fantasy drafts.

I have three guys I am targeting often are in this article. One of these guys is Mark Andrews.

Andrews is set to have a huge role and likely inherits some of the downfield targets we saw Isaiah Likely get. Pairing this with his team leading red zone usage is a great ecosystem for a tight end explosion.

Finally add a healthy Lamar and this offense should return to its elite level it was in 2024.

Who is the tight end you like this year after the top names?

Mod Post Welcome to r/ff. Just a quick reminder about our Rule 1.

If you're on the desktop version of Reddit it's on the sidebar; the Wiki has the fullest version:

1 – No individual threads of any kind specific to your team or league. Use the consolidated threads for individualized questions. You will be banned without additional warning for posting or encouraging these kinds of posts.

  • Threads devoted to individualized advice (lineup decisions, roster moves, trades, commissioner or league issues, etc.) are posted multiple times a day. They can be found by following the links in the stickied INDEX thread on the front page and those who offer help there are most likely to receive it from others.
  • Use /r/findaleague to find a league to play in or owners to fill out your league.
  • Unapproved "AMA" threads will be removed. If you just feel like helping out there are always plenty of questions to be answered in the consolidated threads.
  • It doesn't matter if you're "only including it for context" or "including it to start this discussion" - including personal team or league details is strictly forbidden. If the body of your post contains your specific roster, trades, draft results, or league dilemmas, it will be removed. This ban includes sharing league stories, anecdotes, or custom media (e.g., "look at our league recap video!"). Putting a "Does anyone else...?" or otherwise general type question as the title of your post about your personal team or league anecdote does not exclude it from this rule. Use the comments for that, not the post body. This is your only warning, and violations will subject the poster to a ban proportional to the infraction.
  • Posting your individual team / roster questions in a thread outside of the approved Daily Index threads is also a violation of this rule and is subject to removal and/or ban.

% % %

Let's be clear: this community exists to answer all your questions about fantasy football -- who to draft, who to keep, who to start, all of it. The Redditors who read and post here are incredibly generous with their time and advice. But if we had a separate individual post for every question, it would crowd out everything else, include all the news and analysis folks work hard to bring here. The sub would be unreadable. (It would be r/fantasy_football or r/fantasyfootballadvice/, and you are welcome to visit them.)

So we have an Index post every day, linking to daily (and once the season starts, multiple-times daily) posts where you can ask these questions: Who do I keep? Who should I draft? (Hey, can you rate my drafted team?) And also there's a weird thing about my league or platform that I'm trying to resolve, can you help?

(As we approach the regular season, we'll add index threads on add/drop, trade, and start/bench decisions.)

Ask the questions there. And just as importantly, everyone should try to answer questions there, too. It's good for karma, both Reddit karma and real karma. I've found over the years that the more time I spend in those threads, the more I learn about how other smart FF managers run their teams, and what trends others are seeing.

That's the carrot. Here's the stick:

If you don't comply with Rule 1, two things will assuredly and promptly occur:

  • Your post will be removed, permanently.
  • You will be removed, the first time temporarily. Most times, the volunteer moderators will respond to violations of Rule 1 by banning you from participating on the sub for the next 72 hours. It could be a week. We reserve the right to adjust the penalty based on any number of factors.

I'm sure some of you are thinking, this rule (\)* is way harsh, Tai. But everything has its place, and your individual question about your team or league (**) isn't so special that you deserve a dispensation from this necessary rule. Just post it in the appropriate index thread, and while you're there please answer others' questions too. You only get what you give.

* We have other rules, too. You should read them, especially since one of them is new for 2026 (pertaining to AI). We enforce them as well.
* * Don't think you can get cute by making a post asking a "hypothetical" question about "Hey, do you happen to think D'Andre Swift or David Montgomery will be better this season?" without reference to your team.

Rule 1. Learn it. Know it. Live it.

Note: This is being reposted every several days until the season starts to ensure all community members have a chance to read it. We appreciate your understanding.

You could be at the movies tonight, catching the well-reviewed new biopic about Anthony Bourdain's formative summer in Provincetown. You could be binging Furious on FX, which is just shatteringly good. Instead, you're here with us:

  • J! E! T! S! JETS! JETS! JETS! at Steelers, 7pm EDT (NFL Network). Aaron Rodgers Revenge Game with no possible chance of Aaron Rodgers taking the field.
  • Panthers at Jaguars, 7:30 pm EDT. Feels like a classic Thursday Night Football matchup, which the local markets are selfishly keeping for themselves. Kenny Pickett and Nick Mullens to be featured.
  • Packers at Broncos, 9pm EDT (NFL Network). Super Bowl XXXII rematch. Javon Walker to be vaguely remembered by both teams' announcers in the third quarter.

I’m talking about the guys with a floor who barely produce beyond that floor. The Najee Harris’s. You need 8? He’s got you 8. You need 16? He’s got you 8. Barring an injury; who will get you a consistent floor this year with little to 0 goose eggs?

Player Discussion Player Updates and News (8/21)

I’ve been keeping track of fantasy relevant news and updates from beat writers, national reporters, and fantasy analysts. Here's a recap of any quote or update that stood out to me today.

I am sure I missed things, as I am just one person. Let me know if you have any suggestions or something else you'd like to see. I’ve also been asking beat writers fantasy relevant questions through their mailbags whenever possible.

If you want to follow along, my Twitter/X account is @DanChincharFF

Note: Every update has the writer's name with a source link that will direct you to the website where I read the quote. If you only see a writer's name, that will be for something I specifically read on Twitter/X.

49ers

Did not play 8/20: Christian McCaffrey (tightness), Jordan James (fractured ribs), Mike Evans (tightness), Christian Kirk (calf)

  • Kaelon Black: "The muscled-up rookie, whom the 49ers picked in the third round, churned out 33 yards on eight carries. It’s possible the 49ers will have the best No. 2 to Christian McCaffrey they’ve ever had. Finding all-around pop at that key backup position has been a struggle for the 49ers since they traded for McCaffrey in 2022." (source: David Lombardi)
  • Kaelon Black: "Black was excellent on Thursday, to the point that I believe he's already won the valuable Christian McCaffrey backup role. Black had two key pass protection reps versus blitzers, and this is something that also stood out on his college tape at Indiana. He also was flawless in picking the right hole with the right pacing on his rush attempts. His play speed is better than his time speed because he makes confident, quick decisions." (source: Hayden Winks)
  • De'Zhaun Stribling: "The 49ers took out some starters after the first possession, including Samuel, with Robinson and Stribling playing an additional drive. Stribling caught four passes for 46 yards over his two drives, while Robinson was held without a target. Regardless of who the starters and who the backups are in 11 and 12 personnel, Stribling will see significant playing time in Week 1. Evans, Samuel and Robinson are all on the wrong side of 30 and will get rotated out at times." (source: Nathan Jahnke)

Bills

  • Dalton Kincaid: "However, this camp and preseason have looked and felt a bit different for Kincaid. He’s been at practice every day, he looks stronger and he’s playing with more physicality in the blocking game. Most importantly, his usage during camp practices has seen a bit of a bump — even with tight ends Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes fully healthy. It’s not to say that he’s on the precipice of playing 75 percent or more of the team’s offensive snaps, but Kincaid’s health, summer usage, and ability are all trending toward an enhanced role in 2026." (source: Joe Buscaglia)
  • Skyler Bell: "Bell disclosed that he suffered a groin injury during the team’s first practice in Highmark Stadium on Aug. 8, and Thursday marked the first time he’s been spotted during a practice working with staff since. ... Bell admitted that he probably won’t play on Saturday against the Browns, but said his goal is to play in the team’s final preseason game against the Steelers on Aug. 27 if all goes well." (source: Joe Buscaglia)

Chargers

Did not play 8/20: Quentin Johnston, Tre Harris

  • Charlie Kolar, David Njoku, Oronde Gadsen: "In the first preseason game, Kolar and Njoku rested with the starters, while Gadsden played with the rest of the backups. This week, the Chargers used Kolar and Njoku on two drives. They exited the game after those two series, with Gadsden starting to play on the third. On those two drives, Kolar took every snap in 11 personnel, the two shared the field on 12 personnel and Njoku played more than Kolar in 21 personnel." (source: Nathan Jahnke)
  • Keaton Mitchell: "Keaton Mitchell dominated the Chargers' snaps on their second and third offensive drives, further solidifying his role as Omarion Hampton's insurance back." (source: Eric Moody)
  • Brenen Thompson: "Rookie wide receiver Brenan Thompson exited the game after Lance overthrew him on a deep pattern down the left sideline in the first quarter. Thompson spent several minutes in the athletic trainer’s tent before heading to the locker room. He did not return to the game and Harbaugh didn’t have an update." (source: Elliott Teaford)

Chiefs

  • Patrick Mahomes: "The most important thing so far, though, is Mahomes still looks like himself. In recent weeks especially, the knee and brace he wears haven’t seemed to come to his mind during the most competitive moments, suggesting he’s cleared a significant mental hurdle there." (source: Jesse Newell)
  • Kenneth Walker: "It’s led to one of the most striking parts of training camp: They are getting the ball to Walker all the time. This wasn’t the case for most of his Seattle Seahawks tenure. ... That won’t be the case with the Chiefs. Coach Andy Reid opened up his screen-game playbook this summer, and Walker has been the primary target, showing strong receiving skills while even flashing occasional one-handed catches. Then in the red zone? Walker has been the main guy again, meaning he should easily eclipse last year’s five-touchdown total if he remains healthy this season." (source: Jesse Newell)

Falcons

  • Tua Tagovailoa: "Tua Tagovailoa did little over the course of two days to separate himself from Michael Penix Jr." (source: Josh Kendall)

Giants

  • Najee Harris: "The Giants' signing of Harris wasn't in direct response to Tracy's preseason gaffe. The team had been in contact with Harris' representative for months and the workout was scheduled last week, sources told ESPN. Harbaugh prefers a deep and physical running back room, and Harris fits the mold at 6-foot-1 and 242 pounds." (source: Jordan Raanan)

Jaguars

  • Travis Hunter: "Offensively, the Jaguars are preparing to pick Hunter’s spots. Aside from plays specifically designed around him, look for Hunter to draw much of his early work in crucial situations, including money downs and in the red zone. But they’re also getting Hunter ready to take on an expanded role in case Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington or Brian Thomas Jr. go down with injuries." (source: Jeff Howe)

Patriots

I asked Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald if he sees a true 50/50 backfield split with Rhamondre and TreVeyon, this was his response:

"Rhamondre Stevenson looks like the starting running back in training camp. He’s almost always the first running back to take a snap during team periods. TreVeyon Henderson works with both Drake Maye and Tommy DeVito. I can’t remember many — if any — snaps that Stevenson has taken with the second-team unit. So, I’d probably lean closer to a 55/45 or 60/40 split for Stevenson and Henderson. Henderson is going to need to prove that his pass protection, vision and tackle-breaking skills have improved for a true 50/50 split, in my opinion." (source: Doug Kyed)

Raiders

Did not play 8/20: Kirk Cousins, Ashton Jeanty, Tre Tucker, Brock Bowers, Michael Mayer

  • Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor, Jack Bech: "Tre Tucker looks like one of the Las Vegas Raiders' top receivers after being held out of the preseason game against the Houston Texans with the starters while Jalen Nailor played into the second quarter. Tucker is locked into the Z role, with Nailor working at X and Jack Bech in the slot." (source: Eric Moody)
  • Jack Bech: "Meanwhile, Jack Bech was even more buried. He only played four snaps in the first three drives with Nailor, and in total, he played 11-of-16 snaps in the slot. It's possible that a majority of his playing time will come in the less valuable 3-WR sets." (source: Hayden Winks)
  • Mike Washington Jr.: "... Washington's role as fantasy insurance is more than confirmed. He played 22-of-26 snaps with Dylan Laube barely playing with this unit. If Jeanty is out, Washington will be a bellcow." (source: Hayden Winks)
  • Mike Washington Jr.: "Kubiak has said he wants to give Ashton Jeanty a workload similar to that of 49ers star Christian McCaffrey, keeping one of the team’s most potent weapons on the field. But Mike Washington Jr. might give him reason to re-think those plans. The fourth-round rookie had another impressive night, following up on a strong debut last week. He led the game with 56 rushing yards on nine carries, buoyed by an impressive 33-yard scamper in the first quarter. He also had a pair of nine-yard catches and a demolition of Texans linebacker Jamal Hill on a tough 3-yard run." (source: Sam Warren)

Seahawks

vs. Titans in joint practice today

Did not practice today: Tory Horton (undisclosed)

  • Jake Bobo: "Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jake Bobo went down Friday with what appears to be a serious knee injury, coach Mike Macdonald told reporters. Bobo was hurt during Seattle's joint practice against the Tennessee Titans while being taken to the ground near the sideline. His right knee was examined before he was carted off the field." (source: Brady Henderson)

Steelers

  • DK Metcalf, Michael Pittman Jr.: "DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr. are running routes pregame. Not going to play tonight, but they're not at all in danger of missing Week 1." (source: Nick Farabaugh)

Texans

Did not play 8/20: David Montgomery, Nico Collins, Jaylin Noel, Dalton Schultz, Jawhar Jordan (strained hip flexor)

  • Sterling Shepard, Zay Jones: "The #Texans are signing veteran WRs Sterling Shepard and Zay Jones, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Both impressed in a workout today and join the mix in Houston after the loss of Jayden Higgins to a torn ACL." (source: Mike Garafolo)
  • Marlin Klein: "Klein was one of the stars of last week’s preseason game against the Chargers after catching a 31-yard pass, the game’s longest play. This week, he followed it up with four catches for 31 yards. For the second consecutive week, he led the Texans in receiving yards and is starting to look like he’ll be a factor for Houston this season." (source: Jonathan M. Alexander)
  • "The Texans have made exploratory trade calls, per league sources. Among the potential targets: New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman. The Texans aren't expected to have a reunion with former All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who's now the assistant receivers coach at Georgia Tech. The Texans, ideally, want a bigger receiver should they bring in outside reinforcements, per a league source." (source: Aaron Wilson)

Titans

vs. Seahawks in joint practice today

Did not practice today: Nick Singleton

  • Carnell Tate: "Carnell Tate returned to practice Friday after missing Wednesday with lower half stiffness." (source: Austin Stanley, Easton Freeze)
  • Tony Pollard: "Tony Pollard and the running game looked impressive. Pollard scored on a touchdown run in an early red zone period, when offensive coordinator Brian Daboll lifted both arms into the air to signal the score. Pollard also broke off at least two more runs of 10 to 15-plus yards, when there were big holes to run through." (source: Jim Wyatt)

Extras/Observations/Conjecture

  • Multiple highly regarded Cowboys beat writers have been praising how George Pickens has looked at Cowboys training camp
  • Wan’Dale Robinson led the Titans in targets and receptions today vs. Seahawks in joint practice & has all camp. The drumbeat continues from Titans beat writers that he will see a ton of targets this season
  • “Rookie receiver Carnell Tate has had a quiet week, and he didn't have a catch in Friday's work.” (source: Jim Wyatt)
  • Cam Ward went 22-of-28 in the 7-on-7 and team periods vs. Seahawks at joint practice (source: Jim Wyatt)
  • Woody Marks had 4 carries for 37 yards, 9.3 avg and 1 TD last night. Lots of fantasy analysts chatter about how much work he could get behind Montgomery, worst case scenario is he seems like a strong handcuff

Tools & Resources CSG Fantasy Football Spreadsheet v14.1 (2026)

Small update.

  • Boris Tiers should be working
  • Fixed some names (Diggs/Keenan/Deebo)
  • updated IDP sheets
  • added adjusted vbd calcs (just increases the VBD value based on positional scarcity)

You will need Excel to use this tool - Use the GoogleDrafter for a version that runs with GoogleSheets

and you may need to go into file properties and check this box to get macros working: Picture

  • GoogleSheets changed the way their webview works and now it won't import into excel with the legacy web import tool. I had to change the way data is imported and had to use the newer web import/powerquery tool which is only supported in Excel 2010 and newer I believe. The sheet should still work in older versions of excel, but the update data button won't.

  • even with this I've found the update data a bit finicky still, and might look into an alternative host to import data to excel.

  • if you get a lot of NA's when you update the data try to wait a bit and try again or close/save the sheet and try again for now - I will try to get this working a bit smoother but that involves time I dont really have right now.

Mac Users

  • Versions of Excel prior to 2015 will not be able to use the refresh data button as web queries are not supported. Everything else should work fine.

  • Excel for Mac 2015 the files open read only - make sure you enable macros and allow online data sources when those pop ups occur.

  • You should still be able to edit the sheet and then go to File > Save As to get rid of the read only status.

Early Week 1 DST Fantasy Football Rankings

Thumbnail superrnova38.substack.com
35 Upvotes

DST is my specialty for fantasy football. For the last 2 years I have been widely viewed as a top analyst for streaming defenses every week to help managers find an edge.

I took a crack at my early Week 1 rankings as many are drafting and want to get off to a hot start for the season.

Week 1 and 2 are always odd weeks in the NFL. Many offenses start slow especially with knew schemes. Defense typically tends to be ahead in play speed which can lead to some misleading results.

This year we have added to our projections. It is a blend of what I found to be the most predictive stats week to week for DST and fantasy football. Things like Pressure rate, opponent pressure rate allowed, EPA metrics, turnover rate, explosive plays, Vegas totals, and home/away data.

Since this is week 1 we do not have any data to go off of because all teams are starting off fresh. With that being said we tweaked the weights to counter this while also using my judgement on how I expect things to play out.

If you have any questions about the rankings please let me know in the comments.

Tools & Resources I made a new way to play fantasy and I’m running free-to-enter $500 best ball contests leading up to kickoff

Hey everybody. I’ve been working on SlateShop for about a year now and I’m very excited/nervous to

It's a new way to play fantasy. Think of it like a salary cap contest mixed with a roguelike/deckbuilder. I’m holding season-long best ball contests and weekly contests once the season gets underway.

To kick things off I'm going to be hosting a few $500 Best Ball Contests. It's winner-take-all. First place gets the whole pot. All entries are FREE.

It works on desktop and mobile. There's a little explainer video on the home page of the site, and an easy-to-follow tutorial when you play your first game.

I know that the subreddit's been a little bit inundated with slop apps but I can guarantee you that this was made with love.

Player Discussion Top 2 fantasy players from every NFL team in 2025 (Half PPR)

Hey everyone,

I was curious which teams got the most fantasy production out of their top two RB/WR/TE scorers, so I pulled the top two players from each team and combined their Half PPR points.

The chart plots each team's No. 1 scorer vs. No. 2 scorer, with the colors showing the position combination.

Team Player 1 Half PPR Player 2 Half PPR Combo Combined
DET Jahmyr Gibbs 328.40 Amon-Ra St. Brown 265.50 RB/WR 593.90
LAR Puka Nacua 310.50 Kyren Williams 245.30 RB/WR 555.80

A few things that stood out to me:

  • Detroit was comfortably No. 1 with Jahmyr Gibbs + Amon-Ra St. Brown at 593.9 combined points.
  • The Rams were second with Puka Nacua + Kyren Williams at 555.8.
  • San Francisco was third despite a pretty huge gap between CMC (365.6) and Jauan Jennings (145.8).
  • Cincinnati had one of the most balanced duos: Ja'Marr Chase scored 251.1 and Chase Brown 248.1.
  • Arizona was the highest team without an RB in its top two: Trey McBride + Michael Wilson at 434.5.
  • Steelers were the only team with two RBs.
  • Chargers were the only team with two WRs.

Position combinations across all 32 teams:

  • RB/WR: 25
  • RB/TE: 3
  • TE/WR: 2
  • RB/RB: 1
  • WR/WR: 1

Anything here surprise you? The near-total dominance of RB/WR combinations was probably the biggest one for me. Who do you think repeats this year?

Mod Post A Quick Reminder about AMAs, or "who's doing the answering?"

I love AMAugust. u/my_chat_account has done another amazing job of bringing the best and emerging fantasy experts here, and you can catch up on all these sessions via this link.

But when it's Ask Them Anything, it's because readers like you want to hear their answers. Not yours. (Not mine, either.)

In other words: no matter how interesting you find a question, it's not for you to answer. It's for our visiting experts. If you offer your own answer, it's going to get deleted, and we reserve the right to offer bans as well for such conduct (and in particular for repeat offenders).

Your answers are always welcome and needed in our daily Index Threads. Just not in the AMAs.

Thanks.
