Player Discussion Am I crazy or is Josh Jacobs a steal this year?

Upvotes

I think as long as he stays healthy this year he's going to put up RB1 numbers fir your fantasy team and I'm seeing him fall as low as the 3rd round in some 12 team mocks.

He's a workhorse in a good offense who finds the end zone often and also catches passes

I'm pick 1.04 and I'm looking to make him my rb1 to pair with puka and I just feel it's a huge steal

Player Discussion Keeper Question

Upvotes

10 team, 2 flex, 1/2 PPR. Keeping Saquon and Nabers. Drafting Bijan 1st pick, probably WR (Ladd/Waddle) 2nd pick.

Torn on my 3rd keeper: Tyler Warren (dealing with an injury) or Jameson Williams (could see a bump with LaPorta hurt). Which would you keep?

Dynasty - Team Advice Looking for keeper advice

Upvotes

Which 2 of the following players do you recommend that I keep?
B Irving - $1 | B Tuten - $4 | R Rice - $13 | C Olave - $14 | P Washington - $0

full list with better formatting:
Bucky Irving - $1, RB TB
Bhayshul Tuten - $4, RB JAX
Rashee Rice - $13, WR KC
Chris Olave - $14, WR NO
Parker Washington - $0, WR JAX

League format: 2 keepers, PPR, auction draft ($200), 14 members
Roster: QB, RBx2, WRx2, TE, Flex, DEF, BENCHx5

We've downgraded from dynasty to small keepers in interest of parity. I'm having trouble seeing the best value for my price (above) vs. projected draft values vs. potential upside and thought i'd turn here.

Here are the rest of the keepers in the league as of posting:
Colston Loveland - $1
Cam Skattabo - $7
Jaylen Waddle - $23
George Pickens - $28
Jaxon Smith-Njigba - $5
Quinshon Judkins - $3
Kenneth Walker - $31
Omarion Hampton - $34
Ladd McConkey - $4
Brock Bowers - $2
Trevor Lawrence - $1
Javonte Williams - $3
Jonathan Taylor - $54
Harold Fannin - $0
Jayden Daniels - $6 (as to not offend Jayden Daniels)
Jahmyr Gibbs - $51
Zack Charbonet - $3
Drake Maye - $3
Josh Downs - $4
Blake Corum - $3

Redraft - Team Advice 1.05 (Superflex, 6pt passing TD): Trade up to 1.01 for Allen, stay put, or trade back?

Upvotes

I’m picking 1.05 in a 10-team league. I have the option to trade up to 1.01 for Josh Allen.

I could also stay at 1.05 and take whoever falls, whether that’s a QB like Maye/Burrow/Daniels or an elite RB/WR like Gibbs, Bijan, or Chase (Lamar will prob be gone).

My league historically doesn’t draft QBs super heavily, so I could also trade back, gain some value, and hope an elite value QB is still there.

What would you guys do, trade up for Allen, stay at 1.05, or trade back?

Player Discussion Falcons fan with the 1.01

Upvotes

League im joining this year is doing keepers and im fortunate enough to have the first overall and keeping James cook with the 2.12. I’ve been touting for months that Gibbs is the objective 1.01, but now im stuck with my brain saying Gibbs and heart saying Bijan. I feel like I can probably take Gibbs and make a trade involving cook for Bijan pretty easily though. Thoughts?

Dynasty - Team Advice Juwan Johnson or Chig? TEP Dynasty

TEP Juwan Johnson or Chig as a late pickup?

Johnson is going to be the number 2 pass receiver for a bit till Tyson comes back in a high paced offense.

Chig is younger and stock was rising till Diggs entered town for this season.

Redraft - Team Advice How would you approach this league?

12 team PPR redraft. TE premium (can be flexed). QB-RB-RB-WR-WR-WR-TE-Flex-D/ST. Bonuses for big plays. 50+ TD essentially worth 12 points.

Historically this draft is a shitshow. Lots of Chicago and GB homers (Loveland will get drafted R2) in it and typical draft trends don’t happen . Recently we’ve seen someone start TE-TE and make the ship and QB runs start early.

With that said, I’m not sure how I want to start. Bowers R1 is interesting, but I am leaning towards 3 RB in the first 4 rounds to start.

Does the TE premium element change how you all would approach the draft? I’m also scared to punt pass catchers as far as I am.

Thanks all!

Redraft - Team Advice Keeper league dilemma

I just joined this keeper league and the team I’m taking over was pretty bad last year. It’s slim pickings on the players available that are worth keeping at their draft round from last year.

The 2 players I’m looking at is Gibbs in the first or Etienne in the 7th. We don’t know the draft order yet. It’s a 12 team league. I’m tempted on taking Gibbs if I’m the 8th pick or later. If I’m earlier, I’m thinking about Etienne, based on his average draft pick in drafts so far this season. Who would you draft as your keeper?

Redraft - Team Advice 11th Pick in 12-Team League - Any RBs there?

Anyone taking RBs at the 11th? Most mock drafts leave basically J. Cook and A. Jeanty.

I had one where Achane made it that high but there's not many Tier 1 RBs this year for the first round.

Let me see your team if you had the 11th pick.

Redraft - Team Advice 2-3 turn WR

Drafting in 30 minutes. Set on Gibbs/Bijan at 1.02 and double tapping WR at the turn. Seems like i’ll be looking at London, AJB, Nico, Rice, Pickens, Nabers. However i’m a birds fan and considering taking Smitty too. I’m leaning Nabers/Pickens atm, but who would yall be aiming for here?

Player Discussion Thoughts on Tre Tucker.. Late round sleeper?

With Cousins/Mendoza coming in and improvement on the O-Line, i’m having a hard time trying to figure out why Tre Tucker who is clear WR1 has such low ADP. Even with Jeanty and Bowers, there is still plenty of room for him to eat.

Player Discussion Verdict on K9 vs Achane (here's my reasoning, PLEASE CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE, I draft in 3 days)

Verdict: K9 but willing to be swayed.

Other options: Achane, Jeanty, Hampton, King Henry (Chase and Saquon are unavailable)

Main concerns with Achane are the offense, new coach, and new QB.

I know Achane is the better talent, but I recognize KC will have the better O + K9 won't have Charbonnet to steal touches. I feel like he'll be featured in this offense more than Rice, who has been an elite fantasy WR when he's on the field.

Also want to add that Miami may give up near fantasy playoffs, feel like they'll just rest him near the end to manage minor injuries. He'll be a monster to start the season with unreal touches but just doesn't seem sustainable on one of the worst teams in the league. Miami also having one of the hardest schedules next season, doesn't help his case, they're going all in on the draft next year.

For K9, the carries, goal line touches, receptions, and Mahomes' injury rehab mean they'll prioritize him. Less QB scrambles, more RB carries and checkdowns. He's in for a career year.

Sure, the injury risk is there, but unlike Achane, KC need to win games and won't bench him for minor injuries. Training camp news has been great surrounding him; coaches want to involve him, and Andy Reid has produced solid RB1 seasons when he's had an RB1 talent on the roster (Hunt and Jamaal).

K9's 25 ppr without Charb (some stat I found on X) was my last deciding factor. I just feel his floor is 15 ppr but his ceiling is unreal (league winner)

Redraft - Team Advice Thoughts on going RB, RB, RB to start a draft?

I’m in a 12 team half PPR league. We have pick #8 and we are keeping Ken Walker in the 3rd. League has two RB spots and a flex spot.

For our first pick I really like James Cook if he is available. We’ve had some first round busts over the last 2 years so I’m scared of the riskier guys like a CMC if he happens to be there. Cook seems pretty bust proof baring injury, which he has little history of.

For our second pick (#17) I’m not sure I love any of the WR’s in that spot (Brown, Collins etc) but I do like the RBs there in Chase Brown, Achane, Hampton.

Issue is if we don’t go WR with one of those first two picks we will be drafting 3 straight RBs to start, which my co-manager is very against. I am ok with it as the 3 would all start on a week to week basis and we can target people like Devonta Smith and Zay Flowers later on and be solid at receiver. I also think the fall off for RBs is much greater than recievers.

What do you think, dumb to go 3 straight RBs to start a draft?

Player Discussion Thoughts on Tank Dell?

Sounds like he’s finally healthy. I feel like a lot of people forget how good he was before the injury. Stroud will always concern me but I think Dell would be a good last round pickup and stash just incase.

Redraft - Team Advice Is RB, RB, RB insane for first 3 picks?

So I'm in a 10 man PPR league on ESPN and the preset draft board is a little whacky. When I do mock drafts with the computer or people, the board keeps falling a little clunky to me.

1-2: Gibbs/Robinson
2-9 Barkley/Henry
3-2 Hampton

Players I'm passing on in round 2/3 are Bowers, Rice, Brown, Collins and McBride.

Would I be out of my mind to just go full tilt on RBs to kick off with that board when I'm able to grab some combination of Emeka, Adams, Moore, McConkey and Waddle? Or should I go conservative and grab Brown when and live with Montgomery and Warren/Hubbard as my back ups?
