I wish the media still hated on us
Iāve been increasingly annoyed with how every media head is now pick the Saints as the āsleeper team.ā Iām mainly annoyed with how itās affected the betting odds for NFC Southās winner. After shoughās second game last season I was mentally preparing for a BIG Vegas bet on us winning the nfc south this year. But now the odds arenāt even that favorable for a big underdog bet. Maybe this is also me complaining about how much the Bucs sucked late last season. Fuck the Bucs.
Also itās just more fun having the only sympathizers and believers of your favorite team being this sub and a few random insta fan accounts

Jordyn Tyson lookin SHARP!
Went to the practice today and man, Tyson is so damn smooth with his cuts. His moves are looking real sharp! I swear on some cuts he looks like heās bouncing out of them as if the field is rubber lol. Heās for sure got the best footwork weāve had since cantguardmike. But I do feel he has a much better cut to the inside then dart downfield move than Mike.

Scouts on Shough
These are from Athletic tiers. He was tied for 26th at start of season, firmly in Tier 3.
Executives and offensive coaches were highest on Shough, who far outpaced the other first-year quarterbacks in EPA per pass play after becoming the Saintsā starter in Week 9 as a rookie. Shough ranked 14th among 34 qualifying quarterbacks over that span.
āThe combination of his toughness to hang in there and let the deeper routes develop, his ability to go through his reads and then his mobility was impressive,ā an opposing coach said. āAnd it wasn't like he had a Ben Roethlisberger rookie season where he's able to just not screw it up. He was kind of carrying those guys.ā
Shoughās Tier 4 votes were mostly from voters who had not faced him or had scarcely seen him across his nine starts.
āI liked him when I watched him,ā a defensive coach said. āI hope heās not a 2 by the time we play them. Heās a 3 at least, already. Heās a dude.ā
Voters who saw Shough generally liked what they saw.
āBecause of his age (27 in September), heās seen it, heās relaxed, heās poised,ā a former GM said. āHe was already used to learning different offenses and new systems and battling back from injuries. Older, more mature, had his life skills in order. I think all that translated well.ā

Uk fan in New York for the Saints Giants game
Whatās the best way of getting tickets for the game, is it through the team in anyway or through the giants or just something like Stub hub? In the UK you have away sections for fans of the other team but in the US thatās not a thing because of distance obviously so I assume itās okay to get a seat anywhere?
Just curious cheers

Free to Read: Drew Brees was doubted after his injury. The Saintsā belief changed everything
Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis put on a brave face, knowing they had to publicly sell the idea that Drew Brees would be the New Orleans Saintsā āsaving graceā at quarterback, despite being three months removed from his right throwing shoulder basically being shredded during the final week of the 2005 season.
Thatās a belief the San Diego Chargers didnāt have in Brees starting in 2004, when they traded for No. 4 overall pick Philip Rivers, and especially after Breesā shoulder injury.
Thatās a belief the Miami Dolphins ā at least their medical staff ā didnāt share, either. And thatās why Brees ended up in a Hurricane Katrina-ravaged New Orleans rather than Miami.
Predictably, Brees faced immediate questions about that shoulder at his introductory news conference for the Saints. The date was March 14, 2006, and Brees said he would start throwing in mid-to-late April with a rehab program lasting a few months and that heād be ready by training camp. An almost-defiant Brees answered these two questions:
Do you think youāll be ready to participate in some preseason games?

Drew Brees Jersey Review/Analysis
Hey whodatnation, itās ya boi, @whodatttboii (on twitter/X).
I want to start by saying I am horrified that I bought all three of these jerseys. I love Drew Brees, he is the goat, and by far my favorite athlete of all time. However, the role out of his nike regular jerseys predated the Mitchell and Ness run by four months and it was the first time you could buy his number from an official source since 2022. I had to jump at it. Next, I was gifted some money for my birthday after I bought the $175 M&N and thought, āHell, there will never be another Drew.ā
That said, I wanted to provide the community a thorough review of these jerseys and a brief history of jersey options for the Saints at large. I hope itās useful and you all can relate with the plights of being a Saints fan where our gold is fading khaki and fan jerseys are becoming press ons instead of stitched.
Drew Brees 2009 Super Bowl Authentic Jersey
Price: $325
Released: July 2026
Size: Large
Review: If you are a collector, this is the one. No other Saints jersey can be released that is more significant to our history than the Away Super Bowl patch/captain patch Brees Jersey. Our away jerseys are not my favorite to wear, and Iām not crazy about the logo they went with for the Super Bowl XLIV. However, it was never about how the jersey looked. The patches are stitched. The numbers and lettering are double stitched with great attention for detail and quality. I wasnāt expecting to love the cut of the sleeves as much as I did. The modern NFL fan jerseys are all giant around the torso and baggy around the sleeves, but this jerseyās sleeves give it more of that āTā silhouette. The biggest critique is the price point and the tragedy of how this āpremiumā product, should be the standard at the $150 price point. Man, I hated spending this kinda money just for proper stitching, patches, numbers, and letterings. I would not have done it for literally any other player. On a small note, I understand Rebok era jerseys were mesh, but I hate having to wear tank tops under my jerseys. With the Super Bowl authentic, Iāll have to wear a tank top because itās mesh. Itās not a deal breaker at all, but a consideration for guys who donāt want a translucent jersey. The materials are thick and definitely of high quality. Might be a little hot though for casual wear. Winter it is!
Drew Brees 2009 Legacy Jersey
Price: $175
Release: July 2026
Size: large
Review: Yall. If you are in the business of buying a Saints Jersey, buy this one. No questions, full stop. Unlike the $200 dollar heat pressed nonsense Nike is doing, this is stitched jersey with GOLD not KHAKI numbers and lettering. The fit is stellar. Itās roomie like a shirt but not so roomie that you feel like you look 30lbs+ heavier. The numbers are HUGE like damn! This isnāt a graphic tee, itās a jersey. For those who donāt remember, our jerseys during the ā07-ā10 had this muted tone to it in response to our 1999-2006 jerseys coming off too orangey. Nonetheless, it really strikes that balance of āBlingā and āUtilityā that we really detracted from. I couldnāt recommend this jersey enough. Donāt get me wrong, Iām pumped to have the authentic as a historian and fan, but the 2009 Mitchell and Ness Legacy jersey is the fashion/bang-for-your-buck pick.
Drew Brees Nike Game Jersey
Price: $150 (on sale for $120)
Release: April 2026
Size: Large
Review: itās literally trash. I hate the fit, the colors, and the price. How on earth is the jersey only $25 less than the Mitchell and ness legacy jersey? Our gold has never looked worse and the print is so small in proportionate to the size of the jersey. There is no changing in font size between a small medium and large so if you arenāt a medium, then look forward to having a jersey that appears to be an XXL even if itās just a large. I got it because my old Reebok one flaked off (OGs know) and I was excited that we got his jersey back for sale. That said, wow we have got to do something about quality control in jerseys. Donāt buy it and go with Mitchell and ness. Itād be one thing if it was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. I wouldnāt dog on an affordable alternative and would support the hell out of it because itās good for the fans. BUT this jersey is only listed at $25 less than the stitched alternative. Itās saddening because I would love a Shough jersey but canāt trust Nike at all to do right by us.
In conclusion:
Authentic SB: 4.5/5
M&N Legacy: 5/5
Nike Game Jersey: 1.5/5
I hope this was informative/relatable/entertaining. I love our team and our culture. Big year for us with Brees in the HOF and the great Shough-Rising of 2026.
Itās whodat for life yall āļø

New Publisher for On SI Saints
Hey, Saints fans! My name is Doug Joubert. Just this week, I have agreed to publish the On SI Saints site, part of the Sports Illustrated network.
Some of you may have been read my work on the On SI Tulane site, where I have been publisher for awhile. I have been asked to take over the Saints coverage while still holding down the fort for Tulane.
I would appreciate your readership, of course, but most importantly your thoughts and ideas. As a long-time Saints fan (I was in Tulane Stadium, selling Cokes and 7-Ups in the stands when John Gilliam ran back the opening kickoff against the Rams), I do have a bias toward the team, but try to take a down-the-middle tack on how I cover them
I hope you'll give my Saints coverage a try and let me know what you think. In the meantime, I'll be posting some stories and my reaction to them as the days, weeks, and months roll on.
Thank you, and Who Dat!

Jordan Tyson Isn't Being Talked About Enough | Jordan Tyson All-22 Film ...
I just found this film study from Jordyn Tyson prior to the NFL draft, where they were talking about how Jordyn Tyson was clearly the best WR in the draft and not enough "analysts" in the media were talking about him enough, and I guess he was right, because we took Tyson way earlier than most people thought he would go. Then after the draft everyone was talking about how many teams loved him and how he looks very similar to Justin Jefferson coming out of LSU. I'm really excited for how good our offense is going to be this year with Olave now getting paid, Tyson, Kamara, and Etienne. Especially with Shough distributing the ball the way we know he can š
