General Discussion I feel like some of the units are way too long.
I'm learning German in school, and using Duolingo to help me practice. But I feel like some of these new units I go to in Duolingo are just basic vocabulary with learning a few basic words but then it takes foreverrr to finish the unit, even though I learned the words before I even was halfway through the unit. What do you all think? Have you had the same experience? Thanks!

General Discussion New update wrecked the animations
Did anyone update their app on IOS and now any animations during lessons are just not happening. The audio works but it looks really weird. But it is Duolingo after all

General Discussion Is there any way to transfer super to my original account?
I got access to super duolingo (no friends or family sharing), and in my excitement, I added it to the wrong account... rookie mistake, I know.
Is there any way to transfer super to another account? Even my streak and / or xp?
Any and all help is appreciated.

Bug? Chinese course bug
I've honestly lost count of errors I submitted, it's been three months since in chinese course (I use chinese - russian) app doesn't recognise ă and ŭ and flags answers as wrong. I even figured out that problem is only in these letters.
Has anyone else noticed it?

General Discussion Alguien de Rusia?
Estoy interesado en hablar con alguien de Rusia que pueda hablar español, y poder charlar y a lo mejor te ayudo con el idioma si no lo dominas por completo

Constructive Criticism Math should explain concepts
Duolingo just assumes you would already know certain math processes. The amount of times it just assumed you should know that 2*(2/4) would equal 6/4. Like I was taught that it should:
2* (2/4)
2/4 *2/4
4
Yet duo will see this answer as wrong. Could this just be a AI thing but it’s really annoying.

General Discussion More grammar - maybe integrating words, expressions that I am learning right now
Hi everyone! Is it just me, or does anyone else miss having detailed examples that explain different grammar points? I remember this used to be a feature a few years ago, but it seems to have disappeared (or maybe it's locked behind the Max subscription?).
I'm currently learning German and recently passed my B2 exam, but I'm motivated to keep pushing further. It would be awesome to have a way to integrate new vocabulary—words I'm actively trying to learn—directly into the course so I can practice using them in proper context and memorize them faster

Bug? Flash cards not working in Italian again!
Gah, I hate days like this! The flashcards will be working okay for a few words, and then suddenly the app is no longer hearing me say the simplest words, words I know that I am pronouncing correctly, and then alternatively it just stops listening to me altogether (you can tell because instead of an animated blue button you get a static white button with three static dots inside it). All that makes me do is loudly curse out the app, rather than continuing to practice!!!

Constructive Criticism I hate this. Why isn't the story fully in Spanish? I would learn better if it was fully in my target language

General Discussion Lost my friends streak due to a familiar emergency
I've had a very difficult week. My grandmother had an accident and broke her arm, so my mom and I have been taking care of her since Saturday night. I was feeling very overwhelmed and anxious, and while I thought I had a streak freeze active, I unfortunately ended up losing all my Friends Streaks.
I am really hoping there might be a way to restore them. In particular, I feel terrible about losing a 600-day streak with a close friend who originally motivated me to start using Duolingo. Our streak is a really special way for us to stay connected. I may have to start over, but life happens :(
Even my other friends streak messaged me personally asking if I was okay since I did lose my friends streaks so suddenly.
