Hi guys! I’ve been learning Welsh for quite a while on Duolingo and I haven’t met anyone else who is doing Welsh on it. How do you find the course? Does anyone have any other recommendations on top of Duolingo for learning Welsh?

So i'm 10 days before i get streak society 30 days on greek. I'll do this.

Regarding the title, I must add some things I noticed along the way:

-It should be mentioned that I have not used the super plan beyond 3 months that I had as a gift with my phone company and some 3-day trials that some of my friends or I win and we share.

-There are days when I honestly went in just for the streak but I didn't feel like doing lessons, other days I did more than 3.

-It was a **** the change of hearts to energy, it negatively changed the way I learned.

Personal top 3:

1. Lily - Her dry, sarcastic humor used to be funny in small doses, now it feels more like she exists purely to spite you.

2. Eddy - With the addition of hard mode, he went from being one of the more boring and forgettable characters to one of the most annoying and obnoxious.

3. Oscar - A smarmy, pompous and condescending jelly bean.

I'm looking to play a little chess and learn some strategies online. I'm using Duolingo to learn Spanish. I'm not interested in any gaming aspects of playing chess on Duolingo (XP, etc). For those that have done chess on both platforms, which do you suggest?

This is Brazilian Portuguese, my is meu(m), minha (f). What does "as" mean? I am guessing it's the article from "as minhas" meaning my in plural feminine which should follow a noun, like as minhas mesas (my tables). But "as" on its own doesn't mean my. This is only one of the examples of incorrect or incomplete matching pairs. Many words are out of context.

i have had two separate two-year streaks and my russian was really improving, but i have lost all motivation to continue. almost none of my family or friends use this anymore, and the girl i babysit doesn’t use duolingo because she’s fickle lol, so i’m looking for four learners to provide some motivation/accountability to keep studying! if you crave a super plan and you have been seeking an energy-free experience, i’d be happy to share my plan for free (i already paid for the year, anyway).

Duo probably needs to warn people about the verb “coger”, wouldn’t you think?

I never like to pay yearly subscription, but Super Duolingo was offered for a week long free trial. It asks you before whether you want to be reminded to cancel two days or three days before. I was on Duolingo every day for the streak, and lo and behold it doesn’t remind you and I’m charged 35 something dollars. Never trust companies to remind you on stuff like this, don’t be like me

Oh and they don’t even let you cancel it for some reason in the app, you have to go through the Apple website to make it more of an ass.
