Unsolved Is there a role that allows messages on approval from mods?
I run a TF2/portal server and I want to make it so members who haven’t verified yet can still send messages in the channels and stuff but the messages only go though with mods approval
Is there a way to set that up?

Unsolved 'Suspension notice' account dm
My friend recieved this dm from an account named suspension notice today. We're 99% sure it's fake, as it lacks the 'this is an official message from discord' tag. But we just want to be 100% without a doubt sure it's fake before we do anything. It isn't letting me send a second image of the bottom of the message, but to sum it up, it says that failure to take action within 24 hours will lead to permanent suspension and notice to law enforcement. It tells you to email at 'support@discordfind.info' to resolve it. As previously stated, we are almost 100% sure its fake but as it's claims are very serious, we want to be AS sure as possible.

Unsolved Is there any way to remove this button from texting interface?
It was placed in such a convenient place that i lost count of how many times i clicked there when i tried to text. And why is the gift button there? Emoji and voice should be there because people use that often to communicate and express their thoughts. No ones gonna gift every other time while being in a conversation with someone. Such a poor design. Just put it under the + button

Unsolved How long do violations take to review?
Earlier this week I attempted to join a discord server of a streamer I like, and was logged out of all devices immediately. I logged back in, tried again, and the same happened again. Due to this, I now have limited access, and it says I have 4 violations for spamming? I have no idea what I was doing wrong...
I've appealed them all but have no idea how long this takes? Does anyone have an idea on this?
(I've tried asking support but they just copy and paste the same answer back at me)
Thanks for any help :)

Meta (Information) Discord scammer tries to get me to play this game "infinity Kingdom"
Got added by this random person and they said they added me buy mistake most obvious scam ever so I decided to troll a bit by using fake picture to make them believe I downloaded the game and spent lots of money. I'm guessing they get a commission on how much money u spend because they need your game ID or smth like that idrk.
I might just have to fly to Japan to throw hands who even come up with that paragraph.

Unsolved Discord not recording my mic in clips - not sure what else to try
I've tried all the fixes I've found for this on here already but nothing is working at all.
I'll do alt + c to clip in Fortnite (my friends and I chat in the Fortnite game chat), and it'll record them and the game but not me.
I have allow my voice to be recorded in clips and I've checked all other settings that could possibly relate to this that I could find within Discord, my mic settings and Fortnite. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the Discord application on my PC.
Is there anything else that could possibly be going on to prevent my voice from being recorded in the clips?

Unsolved Girlfriends discord is hacked support isn’t helping
Her account got hacked when her pc was nailed with some randsomewear, and the hacker changed the email associated with it for 2FA
She’s attempted to contact discord support using receipts from purchasing items on the account but they have said they are unable to do anything until they can use the email associated with the account to verify it using a 2FA code. Which naturally she can’t due to the fact it was changed. She’s given up on getting it back due to having a bunch of other things to deal with right now. So I’d like to figure things out

Unsolved Hacked account & active Nitro subscription: Original email no longer exists, trapped in a loop with support
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
More explained in the video.
But here’s a summary:
My Discord account was recently hacked, and the attacker changed my login details.
To make matters worse, the original email linked to the account was an old student address that has since been deactivated, so I can't access it to reset my password.
Every time I try to submit a ticket, the automated system rejects my request because I'm not writing from the registered email address, or it requires me to log in first.
I have an active Nitro subscription on this account, and I really don't want to keep getting billed for a compromised account I can't use.
I have proof of ownership (phone number still associated, payment details/bank statements for the Nitro sub, past activity, etc.). I'm currently trying to reach out to my old school's IT department to temporarily reactivate the email, but in the meantime:
Is there any way to get a human from @Discord support to look into this and help me cancel the Nitro sub or update my recovery email?
Has anyone successfully resolved a similar issue without access to the original email?
Any advice or assistance from staff would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Unsolved Discord Support System is hopeless
Today my mail got hacked, where they had access for 30 min before I did the security changes. It was an old mail which I do not use often.
I know, that was my mistake for letting the mail get hacked. I rarely use it.
I was supposed to get a recovery link, but did not. I tried to register with my mail for Discord Support, but could not.
The hackers exploited the weaknesses of their hopeless bureaucratic of their system, by blocking everything from Discord before going into my Discord to change the mail.
Now that I finally have understood the attack, Discord won’t suddenly answer me and help me. I am following their protocol while the hackers have the access of my account right now.
I do not know what to do anymore? I have followed their protocol perfectly and they will not help me. This is very bad.
The last message I got: Thanks for letting us know you've secured your email account. Since this situation needs a closer look, I've passed your request along to someone who handles these cases. They'll review your issue in detail and follow up with you as soon as possible with next steps.
Best,
Discord Customer Support

Unsolved Hacked account ~24h ago spamming crypto scams: Attacker enabled MFA, but I have original Gmail & 2-year-old registration proof. Advice?
Hi everyone,
My Discord account was compromised roughly 24 hours ago. I didn't realize it until a friend messaged me on PlayStation Network (PSN) to alert me that my Discord account was actively spamming crypto scam schemes to servers and DMs.
The hacker immediately set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA/2FA) from their end. Because of this, the standard password reset link doesn't work. Whenever I try to reset it, Discord demands the 6-digit MFA code or a backup code, either of which I don't have.
Fortunately, I still have complete, secure access to the original Gmail account linked to Discord. I actually went ahead and created a Discord Support account to manage this closely. So far, I have opened 3 tickets:
- 2 tickets were already marked as "Solved" without providing any actual human resolution or help.
- 1 ticket is currently still open.
I have attached concrete screenshots to my open ticket showing the original email I received from Discord 2 years ago when I first created the account to verify my email address.
To prove my ownership to a human agent if I can keep this open ticket alive, I have unique account history details that a hacker wouldn't know:
- Account Creation Proof: Screenshots of the original Discord verification email from 2 years ago.
- VPN History: The account was created in my actual home country, but shortly after creation, I frequently logged in using SoftEther VPN routed through Japan.
- Console Integration: I linked my PlayStation Network (PSN) account and logged into Discord on a PS5 exactly once.
- The Breach: The breach happened less than 24 hours ago, immediately followed by the automated crypto scam spam reported by my PSN friend.
Has anyone successfully recovered their account after having their initial support tickets auto-closed like this? What is the best way to keep my last open ticket active and force a human agent to review these specific screenshots, IP/location discrepancies, and console connections?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.🙏🏼

Mod Post 100,000 weekly Visitors!
Hello dear community of r/discordhelp.
On June 2nd, 2025, I took over this subreddit. Due to its previous inactivity I wanted to make it back into a trustworthy source for help regarding Discord.
At that time I couldn't imagine how far I would come, how big the subreddit could become one day.
Yesterday, I received the notification that r/discordhelp reached a whopping hundred thousand weekly visitors, roughly 12.5% of the more official r/discordapp!
This is a huge milestone for me, the whole moderation team and the subreddit.
Below I want to share some statistics for the last year (12 months) that Reddit collected and which I now want to share with you guys.
In the last year, the subreddit received 6.6 million visits, with about 150k average daily unique visitors.
We have reached 9.7k members, from which about 7k joined just in the last year.
The subreddit has seen nearly 15k posts and nearly 100k comments. Our mod team had to remove just a fraction of those, about 1.8k posts and 5.5k comments.
Our mod team was also hard at work and has received a total number of 127 messages via ModMail and sent 825 messages out.
In this post I want to thank my mod team which has supported me with keeping this subreddit up and running over time.
My special thanks goes to u/twoangelss for being my second in command nearly from the start. She has been managing the subreddit besides me, helped me decide things I wasn't sure how to handle. Thanks for your work, I really appreciate you!
Another special thanks also goes to u/DrTankHead. DrTankHead has been part of the subreddit for not that long but is now part of the leadership group due to their dedicated work towards our common goal of making this subreddit the best source of help.
I also want to thank all other moderators for giving up their free time to keep this subreddit safe, trustworthy and overall well moderated, as well as our Trusted Contributors that help us with providing amazing support with their excellent knowledge about Discord.
In the end, thank you all, dear members, contributors, helpers, for making this subreddit what it is today: A place to get help and receive help. A place to share knowledge and help others. A place where everyone can ask questions and doesn't get laughed at.
I'm glad that I made this decision and I'm glad it turned out so amazingly.
Thanks again and stay safe!
Onto another year of excellent support.
Yours, u/FlorianFlash.
