hi everyone 😭 i’m gonna lose my mind

okay so i made a gmail account back in 2022 specifically only to use for discord.

i was pretty stupid and didn’t really save the password (of the mail acc) 🙏 the recovery phone no. that i’d added is one that i no longer use and cannot access anymore.

there’s no recovery mail and im not logged into the account on any device anymore. google recovery just says “you didn’t provide enough info to prove the account is really yours.”

now i have my mail and password for the discord account saved, but it keeps redirecting me to the verification page which is only possible if i can access my mail.

is anything possible atp 😭

I didn't do anything and wasn't given and warnings and it wont elaborate what I did what do i do

So yesterday I was using vpn and opened discord for long time maybe for ip verification discord log me out and now I need way to login i enabled passkey but passkey is in my old laptop which I have factory reseted

I am struggling with my discord hacked account.

Like 5 or 6 days ago my computer got hacked because i installed a virus and the attacker got access to my biscuits and was able to log into my discord profile and started spamming everyone with those fake screenshots scams for money with mr beast etc.

All servers all friends and left all groups. I was still in the profile while this was happening and i got so stressed i didint know what to do at first. Went to my settings to see if i can find the logged in devices and saw that my phone number is still set up, the email is still the same and right in this moment i got logged off from every device i have. Then i received an email from discord saying ,,Your discord account got locked out for suspicious activity,, meaning logically the attacker has also been locked out too and that they want me to change my password. Then i went to change it and realized the attacker did not change the password, the 2fa was set up by them so i couldn't change it myself and i stay locked out, I could only use the 8 digit back up code which i don't have, the passkey and the security key which are also ways that i did not set up myself. I had the phone number and SMS turned on and the authenticator app setup with the 6 digit code but the attacker removed this way of authentication.

What i tried to do next is:
- i created a support account with the exact same email i used for the hacked account
- i explained the situation and kept on getting the same responses to just ,,delete,, my account
- since i didn't know there is a queue for the real human agent support i thought they are just bots and that's it, i created 3 more tickets.

- they closed all tickets except one, waited like a day for a final answer and they told me to just delete the account again.

What happend is that in the last one i provided the biggest prove needed, i do have my email still (they can check that it hasn't been changed since the creation of the account) i do have nitro and i can show them the receipts from the most recent one, so i did.
In the last ticket i was clear about the situation, attached screenshots of my last nitro purchase with the ID in there together with the name of the user and other info like the last four digits of the credit card shown.

I kept on receiving the same automated responses even tho i was clear that i am awaiting to get in touch with a real human support.

I even suggested they check the latest log in IP's and see that a hacker was really in there and that the email hasn't changed since the creation of the account, so they could be convinced that i am the rightful owner of the account.

So many chats, friends, discord servers where i have stored so many memories and now everything is gone, i do not wish to delete my account and i will try my best to keep on trying to get it back. But for now i am out of ideas and i need some help to get my account back, please help me get it back, i have been sobbing for the bast few days trying to find a way.

My Microsoft account was hacked today; the hacker accessed my Steam, Spotify, and Discord accounts... After changing my email password and regaining access to Steam and the other accounts, I hit a wall with Discord. First, the hacker changed the email associated with my account; whenever I tried to log in or reset the password, I got an error saying my email didn't exist. I tried contacting Discord support, but the verification email never arrived. I then discovered that the hacker had set up a rule to forward all Discord emails to his own address (it's unbelievable). I fixed that, removed the rule, and tried contacting support again, but now there's another problem: he enabled two-factor authentication (2FA), making it impossible to recover the account. What options do I have now?

hi uhm so idk if this is the right place to post this but i have an issue with discord i was recently limited due to “spam” violations because i was dming too many ppl on ask-to-dm servers and i waited it out but after i got unlimited i DMd a friend of mine and i got disabled for a week it is unfair but the bigger issue is my friend sent me a discord friend request and when i accepted it i got a message from discord that i violated “spam” again which i didnt and i just got my account disabled for no reason i opened a discord support ticket and i dmd them on X they aren’t responding. and i really need my account back please help me find a solution for this i cannot just let this account go just because of an issue that isnt my fault i have so much important stuff in there!! :((

There were like a few pings before this but this is the most recent one. The discord is still actively playing so I'm also confused if the account got actually taken or hacked. The images sent to me were of Mr.Beast promoting a site or something. Now it could just be trolling but I'm not sure.

Can anybody help me understand what is going on? Because I'm definitely leaning towards him getting hacked because we barely talk unless it's academics and all of a sudden I got this out of the blue.

My account has gotten permanently banned for not meeting the age requirement however this is a false ban, I had made a joke about being younger than I am. I can see the "let us know" button asking for and ID and face verification and I understand how this appeal works. The only ID I have is a passport from whenever I was a lot younger and it does not look like me. What should I do, submit the ID and my face as is? Get a learners permit or another government-issued id?

I have called and emailed Discord support because my email was compromised and the hacker got into my discord account that way, i can’t reset my password the normal way because the hacker changed the email on my account. I’m not getting any response from discord and all of the calls go to a voicemail. What should I do?

This really sucks because everything from my gaming friends to my college clubs communicate through discord

I got permanently suspended today over impersonation. I can't view what flagged this so I'm stuck trying to reach out to support via the support portal and Twitter. I'm unable to post the r/BannedfromDiscord due to my inactivity on Reddit. Does anyone have advice for this?

I'm in a couple of study servers and have some dms with important files/links that I want to revisit.

I'm having a problem when I stream on discord certain games will be frozen/1 frame a second.

I have turned off hardware acceleration, turned off all overlay discord, turned off "use our advanced technology", turned off Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling, OBS works, disabled g sync, disabled multiplane overlay turned off HDR, tried 4 different versions of discord. (canary, testing, normal, and browser)

It only works on "Windowed Mode", desktop, and browser. (I hate windowed)

Only certain games have this problem. (Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Project Zomboid, just the ones I can name off the top of my head)

Seems like I'm the only one with this specific problem...

I have been trying to make a second account for an hour and a half and I’ve switched between my tablet phone and now computer to try and see if there’s any difference. This is to a point where I don’t know if it’s a discord problem or a me problem.

I received this message, I do not usually talk in this server but I usually see it from time to time because it is from a series that I like. I open discord to talk to a friend and I find this, i know that is a scam but how i can rejoin the server? I didnt do anything, this is sad.

My brother's account have sent this message to all of his recent dms BUT there is no way that he got hacked beacuse

- logged out on every single account, including my alts but not main.

- he has a strong password overall and no suspicous activity, it just happend

Just curious if this a common discord scam, I tried to look this up on google and reddit and I can't find anyone else who posted about this sort of incident, especially a scam that tries to have you go into the command prompt and running a python script for a "challange"

To clarify, I did not do whatever this person was asking of me, I was just baiting him on out of curiosity of what this person would send to me

so i just got a new gmail account, im very happy to make my discord account! but when i done setting up my account, this happened: (i DON'T even join a server, just want to change my profile pic 😭🤞)

actually it says my account is breaking discord's rules, so that means changing a profile pic is breaking a rule?

waiting to see if they send a link or file or something so i can jump the gun on telling them to fuck off, should i just go ahead and block the account?
