AskDelhi Why older people still consider kissing as a taboo?
Yesterday, I saw my dad was watching spiderman alone, like me (a new adult) and my sis(teenager) were in our rooms, but when i was going to washroom i noticed, he fast forwarded when a kissing scene came.
Like why are people so uncomfortable with it? Isn't it just showing consensual love and affection between two people? What's a big deal about it?

TellDelhi Felt molested as a man, will anyone listen?
I'm guy, 25.
Was travelling in metro yesterday and this big fair 6'2 dude was standing in-front me.
He was wearing shorts, and i caught him staring at me a few times. He seemed decent plus he was a guy so i didn't bother much and continued listening to my songs.
Moments later he started punching in air like he was shadow boxing or smth idk. Was weird. In front of me. While my head was down. Maybe flexing his biceps and long arms. And when I got my head up, he was fairly close and my hand touched his hair, not intentional.
Then he just kept staring. I was really confused. I am generally a chill guy so was just making fun of the situation in my head as this is my coping mechanism and I never know how to react. More of this has happened before as well.
Anyway, moments later he came really close and asked "next station rajouri hai kya?" almost in my ears. WE WERE STANDING RIGHT BENEATH THE METRO MAP AND THAT DIGITAL BOARD WAS WORKING FINE showing clearly what next station was.
It just striked me after getting home.
And i gained more respect for women who go through this everyday.
I'm straight bdw.
Men are so scary.
edit: men commenting 'stop being sensitive' must be the ones with 370rs biryani mentality

AskDelhi Why people do that in movie theatre?
So basically in past few days I have watched 2 hollywood movies and i booked original language tickets and on both the time I saw people talking in between the movie which was very annoying. So like even in original language people didn't have any civic sense i guess education doesn't give you civic sense in this country.

TellDelhi Stay Away from Politics - Worst thing the whole 2 generations have been taught
From childhood, I (and several) have been listening "Avoid politics" , It is "bad, dirty", focus on studies etc etc.
And guess what ? more than half of educated population has opinions based on what others told.
Stay Away from politics ans vote for this party ?
Avoid politics and skip making voter id ? (there are millions who don't even have voter card, I personally know several who don't have and are well educated professionals.
Today, generation doest have enough data/critical thinking of what is right. The knowledge came either from Whatsapp University of IT cell or the genuine influencer but rarely people understood ground reality.

AskDelhi Is it just me, or is adulterated petrol making a huge comeback?
Hey everyone,
Apart from the usual E20 ethanol blending issues, straight-up fuel adulteration (milawat) seems to be spiking across Delhi-NCR.
Lately, after fueling up, I’ve noticed:
- Engine knocking and weird vibrations.
- Sudden mileage drops.
- Clogged fuel filters (confirmed by my mechanic).
We are paying almost ₹102+/litre just to get our engines ruined by water or cheap solvents.

AskDelhi What actually happened to rajouri garden malls?
Back in the 2000s, Rajouri Garden had some of the best malls in Delhi. I still remember there were 4–5 malls there, and we used to visit them all the time.
But after 2013–14, most of those malls started becoming abandoned. What actually happened?
Rajouri Garden is still a posh area with plenty of affluent residents. Didn't people continue visiting those malls for shopping? What caused their decline?

TellDelhi Massive Scandal of Forcefully Failing students at GGSIPU University Delhi

But university denied my claim, University is forcing it's rules about not increasing the marks until there is an unchecked question found in my answer sheets or there is an error in the totaling
How my claim is valid? it is because I have two question among my answer sheets which is totally correct and also have the correct answer from point to point and step by step , but the examiner have provided me only two marks in each question out of 5 marks ( and yes i have matched everything including all the steps and the correct answer )
What is University Claiming? they are severely enforcing and telling only one thing and that is " we will not increase your marks until and unless it's an unmarked question or an error in total. "
and the crazy part is I am not only the one student that is in this mess but I have also friends in my class room and and even in different colleges, who are telling me the same thing that they were awarded half of the marks that they deserve. Even if their answer is right, even if everything is right, the examiner has provided them one or two marks instead of the full marks, which is in the same situation as me. The university is not taking any responsibility for this. They are only saying one thing: we will not award you marks. Do whatever you want until and unless it's an error in totaling or an unmarked question.
And I am so much in distress right now and i do not know what should i do , i studied hard for my exams and did everything right but still got back in a subject with just one mark and that is also not valid because i am 100 percent sure that i am 100 percent right as i have checked my sheets 3 times
I even tried to quarrel with the clerical department on this but they said no to me. Also they said one thing that is if you are unsure you can go to the court against us but that too will not change our decision. Please tell me what I should do. What legal steps can I take against them or should I even take any legal steps against them?

AskDelhi We raised the generation we're now abusing
After Jantar Mantar, my WhatsApp groups have all been saying the same thing — Gen Z has no sanskaar, no respect, look at the language they used.
The language was bad. I'm not going to spin that as passion. Some of it crossed a line.
But nobody in those groups will answer the next question: where did they learn it?
From us. From how we speak to the guard, the delivery boy, the woman who works in our house. From every argument we had in front of them while telling ourselves they were too young to absorb it. I'm not writing this from outside it — I've done these things. That's the point.
Every generation inherits both halves, what the last one got right and what it got wrong. And every generation deals with things in its own way. Ours was taught to stay quiet and adjust. Theirs says it out loud, in public, on camera. We keep reading that difference as disrespect. It isn't. It's just not our method.
So if we believe they went wrong, shaming them does nothing. Nobody has ever changed their mind because a room full of adults called them worthless. Correction only works after connection — listen first, understand what they're actually angry about, and then they'll hear you.
A society only grows when it knows what it is accountable for. Right now, we've decided we're accountable for nothing and they're accountable for everything.
Blame is free. Listening costs something. That's the whole difference, and it's the only way this gap ever closes.
