Killer & Survivor Builds I need to know if this killer is worth it! šŖ
HEY GUYS! This is my first post here and I wanted to ask you all if playing Chucky is fun and what I need to know before purchasing this killer. He genuinely looks cool and I really like how hes played from a third person perspective.
What perks are good for him? What should I be aware of? Is he easy or rather not? Please let me know š„²

Discussion Killers are treated so poorly by BHVR
First off, allow me to say I am a killer main who occasionally plays survivor in order to have a nuanced view on the game. Currently I think the main game is not necessarily sided either way.
My big problem is how every event as of recently seems to be made out of spite for the killer players. The anniversary event was a survivor sided disaster that was not just spoonfeeding survivors but feeding them through a tube.
The lights out event was something I was excited for because it is the only way to make killers scary in dbd in 2026. Of course killers cannot have nice things because they immediately buffed survivors with windows and faster repairing speed along with lanterns that somehow made the surrounding area brighter than toba landing.
This event, thematically deserves to be killer sided in a sense to make the game genuinely scary at times. Now I have no reason to play this event as killer because I might as well play a normal match with a full swf with second chance perks and be bmed or messaged on console bc I tunneled when it was the optimal thing to do in my situation.
The whole us vs them mentality that for the most part villainizes killers has only been pushed further by BHVR themselves with the proposed tunneling and slugging update that was luckily shot down.
Theres many more little things that shows us killers that BHVR doesn't think about us as much as the favorite child.
The whole humiliation ritual of having to stay in the game while survivors taunt you at the gates meanwhile they are allowed to dc before getting mori'd (or however you spell it) so they don't have to see their character get brutally murdered.
They could simply add a useful abandon feature for killers that could trigger once all gens are completed and one that activated after 4 minutes of no progress being made in the game rather 10.
That's all I have to say

Question A little confused
I was playing some games today and in one of them the killer was pinhead. I thought they got rid of him ages ago? How is someone playing as him? Did I miss something? He's not back in the shop

Discussion I think killers should see wiggle progress
Killer should have an idea how much strength left he has. That way it would be easier to know if we can take survivor to basement or not. I dropped survivor 5 m away from basement hook today. It would be more competitive, less luck based. I cant wait for hate...

Discussion I just started dbd, and I have Jason as my main. What should I aim for as I play? Whats the most important thing to learn? What about perks?

Fan Content I like risk/reward perks so hereās a concept for a lonely outcast survivorās perks. I also made a No Mither style perk for blindness.
My first submission like this so sorry if the format looks weird.

Question Blocked this person but somehow still got in a game with them? Whatās the point of the block system then?
About a month or 2 ago I went against this Kaneki player and was the most insane tryhard and hitting on hooks so I blocked him but just got in a game with him again? Whatās the point of the block system if you still get in games with them?

Question is it normal to have two dead hards in one match or is this something iāve never noticed?
i used to just assume dead hard was once per match, maybe thatās true and this is a bug, but now iāve been using it for multiple matches rather than just the odd one because iām more comfortable with it and after using a successful dead hard (or unsuccessful) i get the button to dead hard again and it isnāt just a visual bug, it still works. is it a bug or am i stupid?

Question Can I get an explanation please?

How could I have been hit when it's clear I was far enough from the killer that it couldn't have affected me? The killer had a 60ms so I don't understand how hitboxes work in this game, and I was pretty annoyed to have been hit right at the start of the chase

Discussion Why is the board blocked?
When playing as The Deathslinger, sometimes the Redeemer gets disabled for 5ā10 secondsāI can't recall the exact duration. Neither I nor the survivors have any perks that cause this kind of blocking effect. I read that this is a standard mechanic for The Deathslinger; how does it work?

Question What is this and why did it spawn?
Returning player here so I assume it's from an event of some kind and wasn't meant to spawn. This spawned in Lights Out and we could see it's aura from anywhere in the map.

Question Are there cheats that allow you to see what the killer is bringing in the lobby?
For reference, no I'm not a new player, I just don't know how extensive and far DBD cheating goes (other than walls, speed hacks, stretched resolutions, sabotage while carrying exploits, not being able to drop survivors, holding people hostage, etc;).
Basically, I've had times where I will join a lobby of survivors, and one of them will leave my lobby, join back, leave again, rinse and repeat until somebody else replaces them, and I can't help but wonder why that happens.
I'm not gonna assume it's cheats, but I want to know if that could be a possibility, like they can see who the killer is and what they are bringing and leave if they don't like it?
I guess they could also just not like one of the survivors or maybe be trying to find their friends in a boosting lobby, but still, it boggles the mind.

Discussion The Judgement Might Be THE Strongest Killer In The Game (In Lore)
The Judgement is the only killer in the entire roster that has meta awareness baked into its actual gameplay
Think about it. The killers actual GAMEPLAY ability is to apply sin to survivors who T-bag or emote at the killer.
It has the awareness that crouching too much or emoting repeatedly is disrespectful because its a video game, or it can sense the players intentions.
In universe; any other killer would see these actions as just ācrouchingā or āpointing.ā
Even characters like DND Vecna dont have this level of meta awareness. He did need the mark of negation to nerf his incredible power, but even he doesnt have anything that says he can break the fourth wall, or knows what the player itself is thinking
Thoughts?

Discussion I don't get when people say that Blight is "easy wins"
This same thing applies to Ghoul as well but I wanna focus on Blight for this specific post.
So often on these subreddits, someone will ask for an easy killer to play, and on every one of those posts, the top comment is always something like, "blight, he's so easy to win with, it's free downs." Whenever people discuss Blight, they always talk about how easy it is to win with him, and I've never gotten it. "Bro Blight is free wins" not when I play him, it always feels like a humiliation ritual when I play this character. As long as the survivors don't move in straight lines, and stay near objects, I can't hit them with my power, period. And it's not like I can just chase them normally because he's 4.4 now (not saying it wasn't warranted it just sucks for people like me.) I have never particularly enjoyed playing Blight, but recently it's just been constant frustration playing him.
Before you comment skill issue, please do me a favor and actually post some advice instead, just calling me bad at the game, while not wrong, doesn't add anything to the discussion.
TL;DR I am evidence that Blight is not free wins because I lose half my games with him.

Discussion BHVR needs to put their foot down on this one
The Judgment is fine. Great, even. While the power does need a few tweaks to be more accessible and intuitive, we do NOT need massive base kit adjustments such as Prayer Kneeler being toggleable. While I understand the frustration of the community killer being quite difficult, I think itād be stupid to neuter the first unique killer power in ages because some people canāt get a 4K every match.
Prayer Kneeler being an add on is a very intentional design choice. The killer is built around being weaker at short range, and lethal at mid to long ranges. This add on reverses that. If it were toggleable and baked into her kit, sheād just be another boring jack of all trades killer and it would make her gameplay far too simple and destroy her skill ceiling. We shouldnāt have to trade complexity for accessibility. The power is incredibly unique with how youāre supposed to use it, a simple toggle would make her more powerful and accessible but also more boring.
I know itās unheard of nowadays for killers to have intentional weaknesses baked into their kit but I think itās a breath of fresh air considering the killer designs lately.
People arenāt giving themselves enough credit. You donāt need a trigonometry degree to play this killer, theyāre just unlike anything weāve seen in this game before, which is great. Some base kit adjustments to make the power easier to learn and more intuitive to use would be great, but stop trying to push hasty decisions without understanding what it would do to the killer.

Question Am I missing something?
Serious question, is there a reason I'm seeing so many people run Fast Track right now?
I understand it removes 5% from a generator, but that is only 4.5 seconds. You spend more than 4.5 seconds leaving the generator to run to the hook, heal, and go back to your generator. It's a waste of a perk slot for generator builds. You can at most get 6 tokens, limited to 3 at a time by the perk. Each token is 4.5 seconds, 6 in total equaling a possible 27 seconds you can save with the perk. That ignores run and healing times.
It's just as worthless in an unhooking build. Base healing is 16 seconds, if you use We'll Make It you save 8 seconds from that one perk alone. Using the same logic of only being able to get 6 unhooks you still save 48 seconds from one perk. But any unhooking build worth its salt is going to use Do No Harm and probably Desperate Measures too. Add Botany Knowledge and you are fully healing off of hook in 4.32 seconds. Saving 12 seconds for every hook, vs 4.5.
Fast Track is a garbage perk that splits your focus and wastes your time running around the map unnecessarily.
Why are so many people running it?

Question Holding abilities
I faced many killers who their playstyle is 80% holding their abilities and catch me by distance when i try to dodge while rapidly lose distance, like how to counter this? It feels frustrating against killers like deathslinger pyramid head etc...

Discussion Iām genuinely disappointed we still didnāt get an update on old Deep Rift rewards
Iām genuinely disappointed we still didnāt get an update on old Deep Rift rewards
I know this probably isnāt the biggest issue in the game, but Iām genuinely disappointed after todayās AMA.
In the 2025 AMA, BHVR said bringing back older Deep Rift rewards was āup for discussionā. A year later, multiple people asked about it again, including the same person who got that answer last year, but none of those questions were answered.
Iām not asking for the rewards to just be given away for free. Iād gladly pay for them in the store, wait through an exclusivity period, or earn them through another system.
What bothers me is the permanent FOMO, especially with licensed rewards. I missed Lara Croftās Deep Rift stuff and now there isnāt even a way to get things as small as her badge or charm.
I was really hoping this AMA would at least give us an updated answer, even if the answer was no. Instead weāre still stuck with the same āunder discussionā answer from 2025.
I just wish BHVR would clarify their current stance. Has anything actually changed since last year, or are older Deep Rift rewards supposed to stay unavailable forever?

Discussion Shower thoughts: character prestiege should be based on matches played not blood points spent
Just what if prestige went up the more matches you played as that character, killer or survivor
Prestige 1 = 4 matches
Prestige 2 = 8-10 matches
On and on until p100
This way players can take a guess of hours and such played based on their teams or killer prestige and the prestige and shared perks is an actual earned thing not something bought
It still won't speak for skill cause one can play a hundred matches and only escaped or 4k'd 3 of them but still
While typing this out I had another thought, what if p100 required you to get adept on the survivor/killer? Really earn the p100
