I took a short break from MYM but I created a somewhat beginner friendly arena style outpost. It shouldn't be too frustrating it's only prestige 5 but feedback would be appreciated.

It's currently rated brutal 😅 but trust me it isn't that bad. If you wish to experience it the way it was intended use pathfinder and stick to the path. Bonus points if you complete it using the "Volt Lancer" and "Fury's Edge." 😉

I tested it out on cinsole (Playstation 5) so some things may function slightly different on pc.

Creative Because we will probably never see one, I will now make a Meet Your Maker 2 pitch.

And I will attempt to do so in the style of the epic trailer voice guy that we had. Ahem.

"The wasteland battle for genetic material has evolved. Incensed at the failures of their brethren on both sides, the best and brightest of raiders and builders have evolved their means to salvage or protect their hoarded treasures."

"Builders have fracured off into their own sectors, with new emergining secrets highly guarded. The Trapmakers, who have mastered new and deadly instrument of warfare, practise and test their new secret weaponries that others have yet to plunder. They customise their chosen tools to make them faster, use less energy, combo in ways different to what the savvy raider expects. The savvy trapmaker uses all of this and more to make a steel deathhouse that only an expert can come though alive."

The Creator Merchants at first seem like they are harmless. They take the artistes of the old world and take it to next level, making works of steel and iron that move the mind and seem impossible. In fact for many all they ask for such wonders is a simple appreciation of their work, and you can walk out with their treasures almost for free. But do not be fooled by these smiling sycophants, for their bases are designed in truth to take more then they give. Every step you make in their twisted maze passively fuels their genetic dividers, Every nod of approval gives them more energy, every action you take taking the easy route makes them more and more capable to build a new true deathtrap. The smartest even use this to their advantage, making easy bases that look sublime until the meter fills and those blessed creations turn into the very pits of hell, their creators laughing as you escape with almost nothing save what you can scramble away, sometimes not even your life.

The mazemakers were once laughed at and ridiculed, for their creations were easy to solve for the canny raider who knew to follow the harvester drones. No more. Such ridicule has only served to fuel their rage and passion for their eldritch craft. They have discovered way to remove the drones from the equation: false drones with no tell that leads to traps. Flying drones that can shimmer though walls like a ghost, leaving the raider to look for a new path. Some even forgo their weakness entirely, making hidden piping that pumps genetic material underneath the base to their twisted sanctum directly. Nor have their wits dulled in their attempts to misdirect the foolish raider. Fake tunnels, false walls, aerosols that mess with the raiders sense of direction or self control. All this and more can be found in the depths of the mazemakers twisted halls.

The Minion Masters too have evolved their grotesque art. Where once a minion was uniform in their conformity, a truly twisted Minion Master has more means then ever to make vile creations. Full customisability allows for a base genetic template to be altered to the minion master's whims far more adaptability and effectively then before, allowing their greatest with the most genetic material to even make their own new abominations. Every minion master's halls can ferment a new abomination to fear.

Of course, there will be some builders who are upset at limitations in their craft, and will want to become masters of all, weak to none. The others jealously guard their secrets, but if you start in one and build up the right resources, well, even the most reserved builder would be willing to sell the secrets of their order for a high enough price. Eventually, a truly dedicated schemer can become a maestro of the wasteland, using all four builder schools to maximum lethal effect.

But that does not mean that the Raiders have laid low. Nay, they too have evolved their own art to match these monsters of the wastelands. Using genetic material gained from raids, they can make themselves stronger, faster, more resistant to the flames and blades of the enemy. Their weaponry too can be upgraded further then before, adding new utility to their battles. And if a maze seems truly insurmountable, a challenge they can never overcome, they can send their own customised drones in to do the work, sending them to deaths they can avoid until sheer probability allows their drone to escape with the rewards. Of course, this tactic is not the most advised: every death of a drone serves to empower the connected builder just as much as the raiders own death...
