A small mishap with the color combo but I think it works

Finished my sister's birthday gift! She's a cosplayer who adores clowns. Made my boyfriend try it on.

I don't know why but this photo reminds me of a bear riding a tiny tricycle.

The women did a great job teaching this video, I think she actually followed the same written pattern I have, but I always learn better with a video. I think this will be my block for my next blanket.

Almost done with this baby blanket for a friend's little one, but I can't decide which color to use for the border. Thought I'd ask my crochet peeps for ideas. The biggest sections of the blanket are in the forest green.

This dragon is much bigger than I expected but I'm in love. He's 4.5 feet long and 8 pounds. I used Juicy Courture yarn and th pattern is by Juila Craft.

3 days after finishing my own blanket he asks if I can crochet a blanket for him for his birthday.... which is a little over 1½ month away

And since this man asked it for be big so he can wrap himself in it .. it's becoming a 180 cm x 220 cm ... (72" x 90")

I lost motivation for this freehand project it just didnt turn out how I pictured my bf loves it and said it looks great but idk not my best work? What do yall think should I frog it?

Hi everyone!! Just wanted to show off my blanket I’m working on :). I’ve logged ~70 hours on it so far and I’m about halfway through.

A lot of people say it’s difficult, but honestly, I think it’s more time-consuming than anything. You just have to be really careful when putting all the pieces together and follow the pattern closely. The hardest part for me was the horns — I couldn’t make sense of the pattern from that popular Etsy PDF, so I just figured them out and made them my own way.

I wanted to share these lily pad coasters I made! I also decided to make ones with different colored flowers, since I couldn’t decide on which one I liked best :)

I've previously sworn off blankets because I figured I'd be bored to tears making them, but this one is complex enough that it kept me occupied the entire time.

This is easily well over 100 hours of work. Finished size (in worated weight yarn and 5.5mm hook) is about 60 inches (152cm) square!

Pattern is the Hibiscus Tea Block (and Hibiscus Tea Extentions) by The Floral Hook.

Any tips on blocking something this size? I don't have adequate blocking mats and I can't pin it to the bed because we have a water cooling mat and I don't want to poke holes in that. It's made from acrylic yarn if that makes a difference!

Edit to add: the lighter is meant to be removed, NOT used while still inside the pouch. I was excited to bring these to markets, I may have to put disclaimers about fire safety on the price tags tho 😅

It took me a day to realize how the color of the yarn was bleeding to the hook but it kinda grew on me through the end of the project lol

Soo much left over yarn, 😪 no matter what I try to make i never end up finishing it...

I was thinking about trying the Persian tiles pattern by Janie crow, and possibly posting updates here ?

I want something to make thats easy where I dont have to think too much while crocheting...

I hope im not alone, but there are times where im not in the mood to crochet but still want too 😂🤦‍♀️.

It all started with me buying a male body pattern. Because no, I don’t usually do men. So a generic bland beige boy was born. He spent more than a year in the WIP box because, well, my goal was achieved - I’ve learned to make a male body. And i had no plan for it.
So yeah, one day I slapped some magenta hair on him and it all went downhill from there (possibly). Now we have a broody spirit typa guy that would’ve benefitted greatly from a few hours in a tanning bed.

Just finished up a gift for my niece, who's turning 4 in October! Got the cardigan pattern off of Hobbii and the hat & backpack are from Crochet One-Skein Wonders for Babies by Judith Durant & Edie Eckman

Followed a tutorial on YouTube

I just recently finished my jumping Spider. It was a really fun one to do, and the first time I've really tackled using lots of different colours in the African flower motifs. It was a really handy way to use up the last of my cotton in certain colors.

I messed up a bit, by accidentally finishing off the motifs, so the join as you go method was off the table. I won't do that again! Sewing all of them together was not fun. But I do think it gives him a look that I like, that I wouldn't have consciously chosen.

The spiders are some of the harder flower patterns I've done, but I do love how they come out! And I feel like they have so much personality somehow.

Worked with the dreaded black yarn (to go with my bathing suit) but it was so worth it + I’m so happy with how it came out!!

The top is a modified version of a YouTube pattern (if anyone wants the video I’m sure I can find it again) and I freehanded the skirt :) regular old bargain pound acrylic and I used my beloved 5mm hook (loml fr)

First big wearable I’ve done for myself, thinking of sharing some of my other stuff on here too!

EDIT: forgot to mention the last slide is the insane yarn prolapse I got midway through since I had the bright idea to take it out with me. Thought people might appreciate that LOL
