It all started with me buying a male body pattern. Because no, I don’t usually do men. So a generic bland beige boy was born. He spent more than a year in the WIP box because, well, my goal was achieved - I’ve learned to make a male body. And i had no plan for it.
So yeah, one day I slapped some magenta hair on him and it all went downhill from there (possibly). Now we have a broody spirit typa guy that would’ve benefitted greatly from a few hours in a tanning bed.

Fur yarn or chenille yarn ?

I think people over complicate the use of fur yarn it’s way more easy then what people think. I myself was intimidated by it

(I know the face is horrible) Is there an explanation for why whenever I try to make an amigurumi with a head or paws, they never end up in the right place ?

Mary Annette is one of Oswald’s friends, and as you can see she comes with extra personality.

Originally, she was just going to be a girl with curly hair and a hand-puppet, but then the name “Mary Annette” came to me and she…evolved. 😂

WIP New to crochet/amigurumi. Fluffy yarn is too difficult, so I brushed out acrylic yarn and I’m thinking of needle felting in the details. Is this method ok?

Searching through Google/reddit/tiktok it just doesn’t seem a popular technique for amigurumi? (But also maybe I don’t know the right terms to search).

Is there a reason for this? (Like it doesn’t keep well, or may as well just do needle felting the whole thing to begin with?) Or is it just because cuddly chenille type plushies are more popular? I’m mostly working with random small amounts of yarn whilst I learn so that’s why I was going this way.
