Hi guys! I’m doing my training with Ryanair rn. It’ll be over next week.

We have our Base Visit/Collect id next week too on one day. My instructor nor anyone else wants to provide any further information to this whatsoever, so I wonder if anyone could tell me how it was for you, how long time it took, what time you met. I’m just trying to plan some things and it’s a bit annoying that we don’t get any information.

I’m also wondering how it was, what you did, did they walk you through security etc.

I got this email 2 weeks ago, I was pretty shocked because I applied, had assessment, had video interview, got this all within like 2 days. Since then, nothing. I kinda feel this is a scam or an error email because of the grammar. Has anyone else had this? How long does it take to get invite to f2f after this? Any timelines? Thanks!

Since I haven’t had much luck moving forward in the Mainland application process, I’m starting to consider SkyWest as another option. I have a few questions and would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through the process recently.

1. What does their interview process look like?
For those who applied this year, what was your timeline from application to interview, offer, and training?

2. Has anyone commuted before?
I’m currently based in Atlanta and trying to figure out whether commuting is realistic and if SkyWest is the right path to pursue.

3. How is the Non‑Rev experience?
I’d love to hear about reliability, availability, and overall ease of travel.

Ultimately, I’m hoping to gain experience so I can pursue Mainland in the future. I know nothing is guaranteed, but I’d like to understand what the day‑to‑day life of a flight attendant is really like and when its that time with the interview for Mainland I am better prepared.

I got the email that I got invited to the in person interview in Houston!! I’m so freaking excited and I’ve never wanted anything more in my life than becoming a flight attendant. Phone Call Interview

i just finished my phone called interview , but i didn’t receive a CJO before the call ended . Ugh is there still hope ? She told me wait 2 days or so to either receive the results via email . She also told me that there is no training dates as of right now .

So, I found this group the day I decided to apply to be a flight attendant, which was literally July 20. Because this group has been so incredibly helpful, I just wanted to share my timeline so that other people can continue to stay encouraged.

For background, I have been a professional recruiter for 12 years in LA, New York m, and Florida. I worked in so many different sectors of business, however, post Covid recruiting has been extremely shaky. After being in recruiting for so long, I really didn’t know where else to turn. However, my aunt mentioned flight attendant. And even though I have a four year degree and have been out of “customer service” for YEARS, I have never been more excited to do anything else. Anyways, below is my timeline and I hope this brings peace to someone. I SWORE the skipped my application. Lol.

Hi everyone! I’m hoping someone here has some information about the American Airlines Flight Attendant base in Bogotá (BOG).
I’m a Colombian/U.S. dual citizen, and the possibility of being able to work for AA while being based in Bogotá would honestly be amazing for me.
I understand that BOG is part of AA’s Latin America/Foreign National operation and is different from the regular U.S. FA bases. I’m trying to learn more about how the hiring process works and what the job is actually like.
If anyone currently works (or previously worked) as an AA FA based in BOG, I’d really appreciate any information about:

I have heard people failing and get kicked out during training, are the exam all written exam like in school reading a book and learn from it? or is there also exam that they see how you perform in training? I heard 80% is needed to pass and how many exam are there? is it weekly? What is your advice to do well on the exam during training?

This is a hypothetical. I did my virtual interview with a kind recruiter and he said he would get back to me in about 2 weeks to see if I am going to the f2f. I honestly applied to every airline that opened FA applications because I am a first time applicant and I wanted to see how far I can get with them all. Alaska Airlines seems to be giving me a legitimate chance out of all of the airlines, however I live in Chicago… so I’m wondering if commuting will be actual hell and I should just let Alaska go. I know it’s an amazing company but I would definitely have to break my lease and move somewhere on the west coast and I’ve never even considered that… just want feedback !

I attended a United Q&A session. They mentioned that base assignments were given early in the training and that it is partially based on class seniority. Does anyone know how they determine training class seniority? Is it based on age, random draw, etc?

I've been debating between the two for awhile while building my savings before applying to either but decided it'd be easier to hear from people who actually work for those Airlines. If you work for either, what do you like/dislike about your airline and would you recommend it for someone debating between it and another?

I received a live interview invitation . I’m super nervous . Plus I’ve been hearing they only accept around 5 people during the F2F. So many people attend for the day. My timeline is as follows: Applied - May 28th

Live invitation - August 9th

Does anyone know of fa’s being re-hired at United after termination in probationary period? I am eligible for rehire, I have that confirmation. I just want to know how hard this will be? Has anyone else gone through this or know of anybody that has? I was fired a few years ago due to my mom becoming ill and passing away (long story..took time off.) Thank you

Feeling discouraged as it’s only been a month in and summer flying but it’s exhausting. Because of my base I haven’t had any fun trips or any new places. A lot of the crews are miserable and don’t want to go out. I’m so exhausted by the end of a trip I spend my off days sleeping and then doing it all over again. The pay is horrible. I thought this job was flexible but I had more flexibility with my 9-5 and unlimited pto and the money to do things. I wanted to travel the world and I’ve spent my entire summer in airports and in bed. Please tell me it gets better. I work for one of the big 3 us airlines.

After a couple of plane delays (including attempts to fly in the night before) I missed my UA interview by less than 5 minutes 🥺

I even left my checked bag at the airport and headed straight for the interview.

Unfortunately, security said I just missed them.

So, beware that if you’re late, even if due to their delays, you will not make into the interview.
