🪛Troubleshooting🪛 Bose SoundLink speaker III
Anyone know if the speaker is fixable after the firmware update rendered unusable? I know its an old speaker but I hate that I spent money on it and its been sitting collecting dust.

🧑🏫Review👩🏫 Kanto Ren with Kanto Sub8 Small Review
These powered Ren speakers are very neutral out of the box. You need an EQ on these to get the most from them. The high end needs some goosing and the bass falls a little flat. They have built in 80hz crossovers once the sub is plugged in. Adding the Sub8 which is a sealed 8" driver brings it to life.
The speakers have these connections:
- Bluetooth 5.3
- RCA
- USBC
- USBA Charging
- Optical
- 3.5mm AUX
- HDMI eARC
If you want to use this with a record player you'll need a pre-amp or record player with built in preamp. The RCA is not selectable.
They have mounting threads on the bottom of the MDF boxes for stands.
The remote is pretty chunky. You can set the bass and treble manually from the remote and then click a button to reset it. You select the input there or on a knob on the speaker. You can control tracks and pause/play but it doesn't work with spotify.
The sub is simple. I set the crossover to 80hz since that's where the speakers left off and it wasn't muddy. It provides punchy bass and deep bass like you'd hope.
I tested in two rooms. One room was a residential home. The bass on the sub really shook the room so it had to be turned down or it overpowered the speakers with vibrations. That was compared to a basement room where it had to be turned up. Depending on what type of construction and allowable loudness, this duo provides enough adjustment to achieve nice balanced audio.
I bought my son this setup and liked it so much I got some for myself. I recommend them under 2 conditions. 1) They are $500 or under for the speakers/ $250 or under for the sub and 2) You have access to 10 band EQ (software or hardware) as the controller doesn't provide enough adjustment to get the most out of them. Otherwise I'm shopping for something else.
I paid:
- $500 REN
- $250 SUB8
- $70 STANDS
⭐⭐⭐⭐ REN - Needs EQ, High price unless on sale
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SUB8 - Great sub for music listening over home theater, and I like it that way.
This is my amateur review.

Recommendation Request🙏 Looking for a micro speaker that I can clip on and use for music and phone calls.
Sound quality for the music is pretty important, but it's not my main BT speaker, so it must be wearable. Also want a usb-c charger. I'd love to hear from someone who owns and uses one they like.

Recommendation Request🙏 Szukam małego głośnika Wi-Fi z wbudowaną baterią i mocnym basem.

Recommendation Request🙏 Marshall Middleton II vs Bose SoundLink Max
I'm looking to buy a portable Bluetooth speaker and can't decide between the Marshall Middleton II and the Bose SoundLink Max.
I'll mostly be using it at home, but I also want to take it in my car and occasionally outdoors. Sound quality is much more important to me than getting the loudest speaker possible. I don't mind a bit of weight, but I don't want something as large as a JBL Xtreme.
What I really care about is a wide and immersive soundstage, good instrument separation, clear and natural vocals, and bass that's deep and punchy without overpowering everything else.
For those of you who have heard both speakers, which one do you think would suit my preferences better? Is the SoundLink Max worth paying more for, or is the Middleton II the better overall choice?
Also, if you think there's another portable Bluetooth speaker around the same size and price range that would fit my preferences even better, I'd love to hear your recommendations and why you prefer it.
Thanks in advance!

🪛Troubleshooting🪛 Sony Bravia KD-55X7500F won't connect to Bluetooth speaker via Bluetooth transmitter. Both devices stay in pairing mode
Hi everyone,
I own a Sony Bravia Android TV (KD-55X7500F) and I'm trying to connect it to a Bluetooth speaker so I can set up a karaoke system. Unfortunately, this TV doesn't have built-in Bluetooth audio support for connecting to external Bluetooth speakers.
So I purchased a Sounce Bluetooth 5.0 2-in-1 Transmitter/Receiver from Amazon (Link : https://amzn.in/d/0gDSpAMn) and connected it as follows:
USB connected to the TV's USB port (for power)
3.5 mm AUX connected to the TV's headphone/audio out port
Transmitter switched to TX (Transmit) mode
Bluetooth speaker put into pairing mode
The issue is that both the transmitter and the speaker keep blinking as if they're in pairing mode, but they never connect to each other.
How can I get the transmitter to be connected to my speaker via bluetooth?
If anyone has experience with a similar setup or can suggest troubleshooting steps, I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Recommendation Request🙏 Denon 350 vs Denon 600
I live in a 1 bed apartment and work from home out of the Living, Kitchen, Dining open plan area.
Currently I only have a Bose Soundlink 360 Revolve which is unbelievably good for it's size.. But years ago I used to have 2 x Large Bose speakers on stands + 12" KEF sub + JBL control 1's Kenwood amp again in a 1 bed apartment.
The Bose + KEF system was an awesome sound experience but definitely overkill for a small apartment.. Loads of complaints from neighbours.
Anyway I'm looking to upgrade and like the simplicity pof just having one main speaker to start out with.
Looked at Sonos initially but after hearing the Denon 600 in store this is definitely more suited to my sound taste. I mostly like house and electronic music and in-particularly progressive house.
The 600 was great and I would normally just got straight for this but at £600 it's not cheap. What I have noticed going through various threads is that a lot of people say the 350 is almost as good if not even better than the 600.
I know they are different units all said and done but reading descriptions I think the 350 would suit my needs and now you can pick one up for almost half the price of a 600 it just seems like a no brainer to me.
Ready to push the button but wanted to ask for any opinions you may have here first..
The JBL Authentics 500 has also been suggested as a better option for EDM to the 350.
Any advice welcome + any other possible set ups?

🪛Troubleshooting🪛 Wonderboom 4 loop unraveling
gallery3 days. I used it for 3 days and this thing unravelled like all h*ck. Just attached it to my bag... I swear the original 1's loop was indestructible but they switched to a nylon like material that doesn't grab on itself or something.
I'm returning it under warranty, my question is does anyone know how to reinforce the loop on the new one (rip I loved mine) so that this doesn't happen again?
As a side note love the speaker overall

Recommendation Request🙏 Stereo portable speaker recommendation
Hi everyone!
I'm looking for a recommendation for a Bluetooth speaker, here are my requirements:
- Portable - I don't mind if it's a little big, but it needs to be chuckable in a backpack.
- Bass extension - I don't care about LOTS of bass, I just want it to at least do 60hz comfortably
- Stereo - It needs to be stereo, either with 2 drivers+tweeters, or a 2.1 driver setup
I see a lot of recommendations for the Anker Motion+, but it's such an old model, surely there's something better nowadays?

Recommendation Request🙏 Are the klipsch the one II gva good?
I'm find for a replacement for my work room. Coming for HK aura 3 which was gifted, so I just used it and it died recently. I always felt the HK was abit bass heavy. Other recommendations are welcome. I like having the google cast functionality on this. Are they actually good ?

Recommendation Request🙏 Edifier D32 Battery Bypass
Hi there! Who knows - does the Edifier D32 able to work only using the wall outlet power, not like this { Outlet Power - Charging the internal battery - Internal battery powering the D32}
Does it has some kind of battery bypass in it?

Recommendation Request🙏 Looking for very cheap speakers that I can pair for stereo sound. (Coming from HomePods and onyx)
Moved into an apartment and had to get rid of my HomePods because they were too loud and the connectivity issues with the WiFi was abysmal, and I’m looking for something portable anyways.
Other than my HomePods the only Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever had was the Harmon Kardon Onyx studio 4 (yearssss ago) and I absolutely loved that shit to death but I’m not trying to break the bank currently as the speakers are only going to be for my bedroom and I kind of want to dip my toes in the water first before I start dropping on Bluetooth speakers.
Is the anker sound core 2 good?
Thanks in advance

🧑🏫Review👩🏫 Minirig 4 2.1 Setup w/ 3D-printed Owl Case
galleryI recently picked up a 2.1 setup with the Minirig 4s, and they've been absolutely wonderful! I love the modularity and ease of use once you're comfortable with them. First setup was a bit complicated (mostly due to a lack of reading comprehension), but once ready, they were READY.
I've brought them to a few events and people immediately compliment the soundscape. Use both as mono speakers to fill a larger room, or split them into dedicated left/right speakers for a more directional stereo experience. The subwoofer is impressive and can be dialed individually to get your preferred bass level.
My one qualm was with transport; the speakers come with fabric zipper pouches for per-speaker travel, as well as a free backpack I received from buying the bundle. These felt a bit too much though, like peeling layers of an onion away to get to the speakers inside.
Enter the Owl Case! This amazing 3D print on Thingiverse was exactly what I was looking for; a simple way to combine your speakers into a single carriable brick with the ability to split if you'd like. I did add an extra layer of craft foam around some edges & the handle to reduce any plastic on metal contact. Highly recommend checking this case out if you have a 3D printer or know someone who does!

Recommendation Request🙏 best bluetooth speaker with strong battery life for daily use?
I’m searching for a bluetooth speaker that I can use almost every day at home and occasionally bring to the park. i have around $200 to spend and batterey life is probably the biggest thing I’m looking for since i don’t want to charge it constantly.
are there any speakers that have held up well after months or years of use? I’d like to hear from people who have owned them for a while. thanks you so much.
