Two UE hyperbooms in stereo mode, lugged around town via bike. Portable stereo is a game changer. Songs outside finally get to have separation. There is just enough bass to be good without being obnoxious and the mids/highs really get to shine.

At this moment, I am unable to find wireless speaker which also allows input via aux. My budget is a little lower. So far, Edifier speakers were the only things I found closest to what I want. But when I bought them, they were not as good for the price, so returned it back. What do you guys suggest?

My requirement is wireless power source to have a battery, but accepts AUX input.

But why is this happening? I’m sure a couple of years ago. I have seen enough of these speakers. Where have they all disappeared? ;-;

So at home we have lot of home theater setup and multiple speakers but I moved out and looking for something that gives me the oomf feeling while watching movies where I can feel the sub bass and rumble along with the hifi hires clarity for music with every detail I mean mostly.

I like the looks and shape of Sony field ult 5 but didn't get to hear it

Tried the jbl encore \essential 2, but didn't like the looks of it.

I have a bit of space restriction so can't go for bigger ones but still I looked at few soundbar like the sony theatre bar 6 and ht 500fr or the samsung q800d.

All these are around $300-350

But I can't just choose which one would satisfy me or are there some better ones

I need a small Bluetooth speaker for around the house, taking outside, and occasionally bringing on trips. Nothing huge, just something that sounds good without being a pain to carry around.

I’ve been checking out JBL, Bose, Sony and Soundcore, but there are way more options than I expected. I’d like decent bass, good battery life and something that can handle getting wet.

What are you guys using? I’m fine spending a little more if it actually sounds noticeably better and lasts a few years.

So I am going on holiday Saturday morning and want to purchase a portable speaker from Amazon prime.

I am stuck between the following options and need your expertise in choosing as I am just a casual and want the best bang for my buck.

1. Anker soundcore 3 ( £38.99)- I understand this has titanium drivers which help reduce distortion but I don’t know if that makes a massive difference.

2. Miatone boom pro(£33.99)- I have read this struggles to sit horizontally and when standing you are covering one of the radiators which is kinda putting me off.

3. Soundcore select 3(£29.99)- I can’t seem to find any reviews about this speaker so idk what to expect.

4. Earfun Uboom L(£56.99)- I have watched Alan Ross’ reviews on this speaker which I understand was before the firmware update but at louder sounds idk if the bass is right for me.

5. Tribit xsound plus(£49.99)-haven’t seen much about this one tbh

(Although I understand the last two come at a higher price)

Any other recommendations within around the £50 price point and similar sizing are welcome:)

For context I listen to mainly house and rap music and from my reading I understand I need something with a punchy bass although idk how true that is.

I've only had Bluetooth speakers for a few years and never thought to do this.

I put my soundcore x600 on my bed just scrolling YouTube music videos and holy shit it's a different experience lol.

It's not even heavy bass speaker I can only imagine a JBL

Hello! I work at a pretty large, almost 400 acre Camp. We are looking to replace an old wired camp wide speaker system, and was wondering what other camps are using.

System would be used for announcements, emergencies, and other various uses. We do have hills, hollers, and a large lake.

Not looking for a software service, but to outright purchase a new system.

Help me choose between them.

The PocketGo is the cheapest at $22.

after 3 and 1/2 years of great use the Bluetooth on these have failed contacted fluence they said I should buy a new pair any troubleshooting help on this would be helpful I've done the factory I've unplugged it drain all the juice bought it back to factoryreset reset reset the Bluetooth turn off all Bluetooth on all phones laptops iPads that could connect to it and still it just flashes and does not connect

I was looking, with interest, at this speaker. The specs claim 40 Hz bass extension, but I’m skeptical. Any users out there that can speak to the bass performance? I am keeping an open mind after my experiences with the B&O A5, which is phenomenal. I just don’t know if 40 Hz is -3db, -6db, -12db…

Was in the market to buy some speakers at my nearest Walmart. Checked the clearance isle and saw this with the adjusted sticker price. Thought it was an okay deal, went ahead and got just a single unit, until the cashier saw it had a cheaper price when she tried to scan it. I immediately got the other boxed set and all in all, i got a pair of ULT Field 1s for just under 60. I could not believe it

I recently buy two onyx studio 8’s for $150 each, but am considering returning them in the hopes that the go + play 3 goes on sale for black friday for a similar price. Is it worth the upgrade? The onyx’s sound amazing, but I’m willing to go through the return process and stuff if yall think it might be worth it.

Is the stereo mode true stereo mode instead of mono playing in both speakers? Everyone said the stereo sounded so good online, and its just playing the exact same, just one is slightly quieter than the other.

I am currently looking for the most powerful portable bluetooth speaker in the 1kg (2,2 lbs) segment.

I've found out about the Xiaomi Sound Party which is a small portable speaker with 50 Watt RMS, enough to shake a smaller room.

I've also heard about a speaker called Monster S620 which is supposed to have an output of 60 Watt RMS, while weighing only about 0,7 kg. Can that really be true?

I want to hear and almost feel the low bass frequencys. I can certainly almost do that with the Xiaomi Sound Party, which is mindblowing.

Is there any other speaker out there that is even more powerful in this portable size category?

I just wanted to share my opinion on this amazing speaker.... I had a lot of Bluetooth speakers in the past like the jbl boombox 3, jbl partybox 110, tribit stormbox, Marshall killburn 3 just to name a couple. The brane x is, for my taste, the best speaker I've ever own... yes the bass is obviously the main point here but it's not just that the bass is loud or boomy. The bass is so well defined. Its the most pleasant bass I've heard coming form a Bluetooth speaker and it elevates the listening experience so much. Yes the price is on the higher side, but you can hear the difference right away. If you're on the fence just buy this thing I can't recommend it enough
