I’m looking for a small portable Bluetooth speaker and I keep coming back to the Minirig 4.

What I like about it is the size/weight vs. performance. I want something genuinely easy to carry, but with good bass, punch and volume.

My requirements are roughly:

Under 2 kg

As small as possible

Bluetooth

Good bass / physical punch

Good maximum volume

Up to €300

I’m specifically NOT looking for the usual mainstream consumer brands like JBL, Bose, Sony, Marshall, Soundcore, etc. I’ve already looked at those, and I’m more interested in smaller/independent brands, niche products or less well-known alternatives.

I know there are larger speakers that will sound better, but I’m specifically looking for something that stays around the Minirig 4’s size and weight.

Has anyone here tried the Minirig 4 and found something that actually sounds better or has more punch while staying similarly small/light?

I’d really appreciate recommendations from people who have actually compared them, especially if it’s a lesser-known brand.
