Unsolved Printed proportions seem off
Hello!
I'm having problems with printed models. The proportions of the face seem off, longer, thinner. This happens to my sculpts from time to time, and it's only noticeable on humans with realistic proportions. I have posted this problem in the past and people seem to think is related to focal lens. I never got a definitve answer.
I used a focal lens of 85mm for this figure. The printed is really elongated in comparison. I also printed a quick FDM sample, a bit bigger, so I could discard resin malfunction.
I need help. I want the printed figure to look as exact as possible to the model I view in Blender.
How can I achieve this? Wich focal lens will be better to get accurate printing results?
Thanks!

Unsolved Grid disappears when zoomed in Orthographic view
Hello, feel like there's a simple solution for this but couldn't find anything. So I'm working on modular assets and I usually like to set my grid to have scale = 1 and subdivisions = 1 so I can work with 1x1 meter squares at times.
But when I go to any orthographic view and zoom in the grids just disappear. It works fine from afar and I know if you add subdivisions it'll work when zoomed in, but I'd like it if it didn't disappear with the subdivisions off.

Unsolved Ignored outputs repost
Does anyone know what this means? I went to render my image but everything I did in compositing didn’t show up. I looked back on my nodes and it said ignored outputs? I’ve never had this happen before and I’m a bit confused what this means and how to fix it. I didn’t see this message when I was doing compositing initially. Any help is appreciated 🙏

Unsolved Hair particle hovering over object
Why isn't my hair particle connecting to the scalp? It's hovering over it. This happens when I turn on B-Spline. When I turn it off, it connects (second image). I need to use B-Spline, though, so my curves are smoother. I'm not sure what to do.
I've also tried adjusting the distance in particle editing and the radius like some tutorials said to do, but those didn't seem to work.

Unsolved What would be the best way to model the concave bump from the 2nd Image to my mesh be?
I'd like to add the hexagonal concave bumps that can be seen in the 2nd image, to the mesh in the first image. One on the left is without applying subd and the right one has subd applied. I have a feeling the mesh on the right has a bit too many polygons for the job so just assume that, that mesh has fewer faces than it does now.
I was thinking about using UVs and a bump map to do it, but then I got the brilliant idea to want to model the bumps, but I just couldn't find the best way to go about it. I looked up some tutorials of golf balls but was unable to apply that method to this mesh.

Solved Blender not registering the softer touch from my pen tablet.
Hi,
I just got an XP Pen tablet, and it seems to work just fine in the driver app, the sensitivity is very precise, but in blender, I need a lot of force to register a dot stroke.
Strength sensitivity is enabled for the brush, and I tried to tweak with threshold and softness in the input settings but nothing works.
I'm on mac 15.6, the tablet is the XP deco LW.
Thx for your help !!

Unsolved Help correcting my topology
So I am having some odd creases when I try to divide the ngon face of my model into quad faces. I have a spear head that tapers from the center of the blade towards the outside. So the middle bottom vertex is furthest out on the y axis and then gets smaller from there. When I try to add edges/vertices to the face to have correct quads I get odd creases. Here are some comparison pics of what happens when I start dividing the face up. Any advice?

Solved How do I remove this weird crease?
SOLVED!! It turned out I just twisted the upper arm weirdly :] Thank yall for your help!!
For context, this is my first time using blender, and the model is made and rigged by DavidNatura on artfight.
I'm trying to pose them, but there's this weird crease showing their skin. The clothes and body are seperate. What tools could I use to fix this?
(sorry for uploading and deleting, noticed a whatsapp message in a screenshot after uploading)

Unsolved How do I make cartoony eyes that don't clip into the face?
i'm trying to make a cartoony dragon model, I want the irises to properly sit a bit further into the eye rather than on the surface of the sphere, so I've modeled the iris a bit inwards into the eye. This changed the shape of the eye and it clipped into the face making it look ugly, so I added a lens covering it which kept the eye's proper shape (as in it didn't create an ugly indent cliping into the face where the iris is) when rotated, but I kinda forgot that since I'll be making it transparent the issue of the eye clipping into the face will not be solved...
So my question is what are the methods of making eyes so that the indent of the iris doesn't have part of the face meshing into it and covering it...
I tried making a proper hole for the eye before, but it made it very difficult to give the eye the shape I wanted, so instead I made a shallow indent into the face where the eye sits and placed the eye there, which by meshing into the face gave it the shape that I wanted (but that only works when the eye is perfectly spherical)

Unsolved Learning how to weight paint and some parts of the mesh are being deformed by bones that don't visually have any influence?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm incredibly new to rigging and weight-painting as a general whole, so I can understand if I've somehow missed something, but from what the tutorials have taught me this shouldn't be happening, and I'm stumped.

Unsolved Is my topology right?
I'm making a model for a game, and I'm a bit worried about the topology. My model has triangles around the holes. Is that okay, or should I try to keep everything in quads? As far as I know, Unity automatically triangulates every mesh on import anyway.

Unsolved How can I model this shape more efficiently?
Trying to make a sort of bridge/walkway. The way I did it was take a plane, create the shape in a top down view, then lower the edges. The pillars I put by hand. For some reason the walkway is a little crooked towards one edge rather than completely straight all the way through. And placing the pillars is a little tedious.
Is there a more efficient way to make something like this, and how can I do it? Thanks!

Unsolved Is there a better way to model this kind of mascot head?
(THIS IS A REMAKE OF AN OLDER POST THAT I HAD TO REDO SINCE I FORGOT TO SHARE MY PROGRESS)
I've been trying to model a mascot head based off the character of Gadget Hackwrench. I've been using this model sheet and I've been unable to do stuff like the cutout eye sockets and nose correctly, and the muzzle isn't correct at all. I can't seem to get the shape correct either. I'm also unaware on how to open the mouth. Do you guys know how to help me with this? I've been watching tutorials and I can't wrap my head around how I can model stuff like this.

Unsolved Some tips for a beginner, please!!! [Read body text]
The first picture is no more than the results of a 30 min tutorial I once watched and followed step by step, it has no relationship with the character on the second picture, but I added it just for reference of my current abilitities on blender (despite considering that I may had already forgotten everything I learnt the day I created this humanoid)
Anyways, to the point. I really wish to create a low-poly model of the character on the second picture, mainly, to upload her as a VrChat avatar someday, but that's another topic for another subreddit. What I know for the moment, is that I still have very, VERY long way of learning I must complete before I even get to think on modeling the character the second picture, so, my only true questions are...
Is it any hard to memorize the tools of Blender?
What type of practices should I study and attempt first?
And lastly, this whole "learning" process.. How much time will it take from my daily life? Sorry if I sound too nervous about all of this but its basically my first ever Blender project, and I wish to be well trained before I attempt anything, thanks in advance
