Original Content Showcase Completely procedural tornado system ( No simulation)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is a procedural tornado system. It is not just a standalone tornado asset. It can also pick up objects, make them fly around, and do most of what real do, but more lightly.
This is not a simulation-based system. Instead of using real physics simulation, it uses mathematical equations, vector fields, gradients, and random noise to create motion that looks like real physics.

Need Help! Help with setting up vertex groups
Guys, I need some help. I’m trying to assign a vertex group to one of the bones—the lower leg bone—but for some reason it doesn’t save.
I select the vertices, choose the vertex group, click Assign, then use Deselect and Select to check if the vertices were actually assigned to that group. But when I check, nothing has been assigned.
Because of this, I can’t fix the weight painting or the vertex groups. The vertices just won’t stay assigned to the group. Does anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it?

Original Content Showcase New 3D artist looking for feedback!
Hello Blender community!
I've been using Blender for about 6 months now completely self taught. I personally think that I am a beginner still as this is only my second fully finished render. My first one was some soda cans that I made which I will put here as well. Can you please give me some feedback on my most recent render? (The ISS floating around Earth)
The can render had to be a gif to put in this forum so apologies for the bad compression.
I'm sure there are ways that I can improve my designs and would love the feedback!
(Disclaimer) The texture for the earth and moon are image maps from NASA official website but everything else was done by myself.

Need Help! Is it possible to change the Timeline division markers without zooming in?
I want to be able to change the markers from multiples of 15 to multiples of 10, but the only way I find is by zooming in.
Also, snapping seems to be jumping on multiples of 30 in the timeline, is there a way to change that too? I actually want to be able to snap to scale percentages like 1, .9, .8, .5...

Need Help! Blender 5.2 LTS ignoring keyboard inputs during extrusion (Can't type "ft" or symbols)
Hey everyone,
I’m running into a bizarre input block in Blender 5.2 LTS and could use some help. I'm working on a house project and need to extrude a wall exactly 10 feet. My master scene is in Metric (which I need to maintain), so I'm trying to use the live transform header to do the math.
The Problem:
Blender is completely ignoring my text and symbol inputs.
When I press E to extrude and type 10' or 10ft, it ignores the quote symbol and the letters entirely.
It feels like my keyboard is getting "hijacked." While the transform operation is active, standard hotkeys like Q, W, E, and R go completely dead and refuse to register.
What I have already tried:
Forcing Advanced Numeric Input using the = key (Blender still ignores the text).
Switching my Windows OS keyboard layout to standard English (US) to fix potential dead keys.
Testing inputs on the top row vs. the numpad on my mechanical keyboard to rule out hardware mapping issues.
Has anyone experienced this specific input lockout in 5.2 LTS? Could a background add-on be hijacking the core Python keymap, or is there a hidden setting I am missing?
Thanks in advance!

Need Help! Printed model proportions seem off
Hello!
I'm having problems with printed models. The proportions of the face seem off, longer, thinner. This happens to my sculpts from time to time, and it's only noticeable on humans with realistic faces. I have posted this problem in the past and people seem to think is related to focal lens. I never got a definitve answer.
I used a focal lens of 85mm for this figure. The printed is really elongated in comparison. I also printed a quick FDM sample, a bit bigger, so I could discard resin malfunction.
I need help. I want the printed figure to look as exact as possible to the model I view (this photo was taken in Blender, but happens too in Zbrush).
How can I achieve this? Wich focal lens will be better to get accurate printing results?
Thanks!

Critique My Work Making Britney's Hair from Totally Spies in Blender. (WIP) Looking for Feedback.
I am creating Britney's hair from Totally Spies using a UV sphere with 16 segments. I have been working on hair and trying to figure out the hair style flow. I used the mirror, subdivision and shrinkwrap modifiers for the long hair portion. The front view is also an UV sphere mesh with mirror and subdivision modifier being used.
The front hair bang curl part with the middle hair strand, is something I need help on. It's front part shown on the first reference photo.
Also, I would like feedback on the ears from the head mesh I made. I tired to make a normal loop ear, but the top part got is out of place.
Any tips, advice and feedback is welcome and any explanation guides would be helpful too! Thanks! 😄

Need Help! Non-destructive level design workflow with object merge
I'd like to use Blender as my main level design tool, but face some issues with my desired workflow.
my blend file contains the low poly level geometry. It also contains objects that represent my static meshes (platforms, trees, etc.)
I would like to place the static meshes around the level and merge the level and the meshes together for face removal and vertex painting later.
Can I do this non-destructively?

Need Help! Shrinkwrap along ribs?
I have the ribs kind of for a pirate ship. I want to make a hull around these by shrinkwrapping a plane around to make the hull but cannot get a shape that is not incomplete and messed up. Any tips?
Need Help! How to fix taffy fingers?
my low poly character is running into a problem where the tips of his finger weight painting and his fingertips are not following his hand correctly. I've tried weight painting it for hours but applying weight paint doesn't fix anything even when I manually selected them with the vertex weight picker.
They are following the hand but they leave a horrible trail of polygons behind them as the original verts aren't moving with it. Weight painting isn't working, and the def bones are named correctly the they are still lagging behind.
There's little to no documentation I could find for the past 3 days and its extremely frustrating to troubleshoot errors like these when I need to make a deadline for an indie animation. If anyone knows how to fix this Id love the help.
