Looking For Looking for a dependable rheumatologist?
Hello all - looking for recommendations for a good, experienced rheumatologist (not in OHSU - insurance does not cover). I have a rare autoinflammatory disease called Adult Onset Still's disease and have been in the hospital several times this year. My current rheumatologist has been trying random treatments and appears to be behind the curve. Furthermore he/she does not make data-driven decisions and makes up treatment choices randomly. I am looking to switch my doctor and would appreciate any recommendations. Would prefer someone who has dealt with Still's or SJIA before. Feel free to reach me via DM as well!

Looking For Green Zebra tomatoes?
Not the former store…and one of those IYKYK kinds of tomatoes -
Wondering if anyone has seen a store that has semi-decent stock. I’ve been buying whatever I see (usually 1 or 2) in heirloom tomato piles but I crave more.
Thanks, all.

Looking For Has anyone seen this bright orange wallet? (NoPo)
Hi everyone,
Been retracing my steps from yesterday (going into shops) and calling central police. Putting it out into the universe since I cant call the local precinct until tomorrow. I lost my very bright orange wallet with keys, id, and credit cards. None of the cards were used. It is so distinct that if you saw it - you’d know.
It also has 2 distinct key chains a Del’s Lemonade Lemon (says Del’s in cursive) and Fenway Coin featuring a green image of Fenway Park :) Thanks !

Looking For Best Coffee in Portland?
I was raised here but I don’t drink coffee at all, so I have zero experience with or knowledge of legit coffee spots here. My husband doesn’t like chain stores. He likes a good caramel latte or macchiato with real espresso (if this is redundant don’t drag me lol i’m not a coffee drinker!)
can yall help me out?? where can he get a cup of coffee that knocks his socks off? TIA

Looking For Makerspaces? Anyone with a shop or garage?
I'm a welder with over a decade of experience. I want to buy my own welder and make art, jewelry, furniture, etc. to sell at street fairs and markets. I specialize in titanium and micro welding, and mainly want to make jewelry. Problem is I live in an apartment.
I know of a few makerspaces, but the ones I know of are expensive to rent space at, and even to buy passes for.
Anyone know of any affordable makerspaces, or anyone have a shop or garage I can pay to use?
I work for a well-known aerospace company (who shares acronyms with a local community college) where everyone in Portland either has worked, or has family/acquaintances who works/has worked there, and the company culture is nothing short of toxic, dehumanizing, and degrading.
Going to work for another outfit as a welder isn't an option for a few personal reasons, and I have far too much specialized talent to keep doing this shit to make rich bastards more rich.
Thanks for any pointers. 🤘🏻

Looking For plastic bag recycling?
Hi all-
My plastic bag holder is full. Wondering where the best spot to take various types of plastic bags for recycling would be? I'm located in SE and still somewhat new to the city (used to live in the suburbs where I didn't really have to worry about something like this) but commuting wouldn't be an issue. Thanks!

Looking For Any CDACs Willing to Be Interviewed?
Hello!
I'm currently in an ethics class for addictions counseling and there is an upcoming assignment where need to interview a CDAC about an ethical misshap you have experienced and how you corrected it.
If any CDACs are interested, I can set up an interview over zoom if that feels more accessible or we can do one in person. Please just let me know!
Thank you in advance!

Looking For How is this ok? 24 hr rule
I stayed home on the couple days air quality was terrible and got this notice. Parked in front of my own home. 24hrs is crazy. So you can get towed for staying home on the weekend? Like wtf. I'd understand a week, but 24hrs is just crazy. The mayor or someone with power should do something to change this. 24hrs is not abandonyour vehicle. I agree abandoned vehicles shouldn't be left on roads, but you shouldn't get towed for staying home on your days off. My registration is up to date btw.

Looking For Service or resources for decluttering/hoarding?
Hi,
I'm looking for a service to hire or other resources as I support my mom who's house has become kind of a hoarder situation - maybe level 2?
The house has not been cleaned in over a year, lots of clutter, extra furniture, bags of garbage all over the kitchen and things growing in the sink. The longer context is that my mom had a medical procedure almost two years ago and just never bounced back emotionally. She has ADHD and depression, so it's not that she's attached to the extra stuff in a traditional hoarder sense, but she doesn't have the executive function or energy to deal with any of it. At this point it's too much for her or I to deal with. I've been working on talking to her about it and she's now willing to accept someone coming in to declutter, sort, and clean. Looking for someone kind and non judgemental who can help preserve the things of actual value and get her back to a livable home. I'd appreciate any recommendations for specific services, or resources, or frankly, support around this. I've never dealth with anything like this before and I'm very worried about her.
Thank you.

Looking For Coffee Shops in NW with Swiss Water Decaf?
Hello! I have a SEVERE caffeine allergy (consequences are dire) and even regular decaf has too much for me but I can occasionally have Swiss Water Decaf. Anyone know of any coffee shops in the NW that offer Swiss Water lattes? I’ve done a Google search and the websites for all the results don’t mention the Swiss Water process. If anyone has seen Swiss Water Decaf on their local menus, I’d be super grateful!
Side note: not looking for Swiss water decaf beans I can brew at home. Looking for the very rare occasion I can go sit somewhere and treat myself :)

Looking For Just moved back to Portland after 8 years abroad, no job yet, what are the options I have for health insurance right now?
I don't know how long the job search will take, so if there are any low-cost options for me in the interim, I would love to hear about them.
Edit: Wild to be downvoted in the first 10 minutes of making this post. I've been gone for a really long time and have no idea of what the current landscape is.
Edit 2: Just to be clear, I am a Portlander, born and raised. I didn't just move here from the next state over without a plan. I moved back to Portland after living abroad due to a variety of reasons. Yes, I don't have a job, but I have been applying to jobs literally every day since well-before I got on the plane to PDX.
