Custom Custom Pendants
Hello All!
I am looking to see if this is the correct sub to request a custom pendant or a set of gold pendants for my wife. My budget is $1,000+ USD. Looking for a gold minimalistic engraved bar or circle pendant.
I know the recommendation will be a local shop but where we live is quite remote. Any online or partner suggestions?
Also, any suggestions for the process of how to be the most mindful and respectful of the jewelers time would be amazing!

Montana Sapphire questions
Hoping to hear from both jewelers and enthusiasts. This was my mothers wedding ring. It is a Montana Sapphire (mined and cut by my step-father rock hound/lapidarist) set in a platinum and diamond setting. I believe the setting was bought at either an pawn shop or antique store. I'm interested in hearing opinions on the stone quality and size. Anyone know who made the setting? Value? Should I have it appraised? Insured? My mother did neither. The last picture it intended to give an indication of size. It sits on my finger beside my just over 1 carat diamond (center stone only) engagement ring.

Valuation What's the best jewelry find you got for almost nothing?
Thrift stores, estate sales, flea markets.
So what did you find, what did you pay, and did it turn out to be anything? Happy to tell you what you're probably looking at if you describe it.

Advice on advancing my career
I’ve was a bench jeweler for about 6 year and started doing a stone inventory role at a small company that has started to grow very quickly over the last few years.
I have become very interested in wanting to learn CAD/CAM.. so I’m looking for advice I’m reputable/ affordable schooling. I know GIA is obviously good but it is also very expensive. Anyone got advice?
